Trivia: The car that Parzival uses in the race is the DeLorean, complete with all it's customization and advances, from the Back to the Future movies. Steven Spielberg, the director of Ready Player One, was also the Executive Producer of the Back to the Future trilogy with his company Amblin Entertainment. Spielberg only allowed the DeLorean to appear as a reference and tribute to BTTF director Robert Zemeckis, rather than himself. Despite Spielberg's overwhelming impact on pop culture throughout the decades, direct Spielberg references were rather deliberately omitted from "Ready Player One" by Spielberg himself. Ironically, he intended to include references to "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" (Spielberg's second blockbuster after "Jaws"), but he couldn't negotiate a licensing agreement with Columbia Pictures and Warner Bros. Continuity mistake: After Link kicks the Moblin in the face that's holding his feet, there is a shot from behind as the other Moblin holds his arms and this shows Link's bed. In this shot, the sheet on his bed has turned from blue to brown, and also is draped over the side much more. (00:01:20 - 00:02:25)

Continuity mistake: As the Moblins are holding Link so the third one can go for the Triforce, the Moblin behind Link is holding his arms. In one shot, the Moblin appears to have his hands over Link's wrists with Link's elbow extended out, the Moblin gripping his arm like one would a motorcycle handle. But then in the next shot, suddenly the Moblin's arms are curled around Link's arms the other way with his hand between Link's arm and back like one would hold a bar when doing pull ups. (00:02:20)

Continuity mistake: Right after the title of the show appears, Zelda opens the door to the room with the Triforce of Wisdom inside to show it to Link. In this shot, the emblem at the top of the door is in the shape of the letter M with wavy lines coming off the tips. Also the round posts at the top of the door are large and thick, and there is a rafter in the ceiling that's almost dead center above the point of the door top. But then in the first episode as Link is getting out of bed, with that same room now being his quarters, you can see the door again. Now the emblem on top is a circle, the posts are shorter and smaller, and the rafter on the ceiling has moved over a few feet to the left. (00:00:05 - 00:01:20)

Visible crew/equipment: Star Wars Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base: As Kylo is giving Zack an apology card, the camera cuts to a different angle and a large boom mic and hand is visible above them as well as a camera guy on the left. It specifically states in the beginning that all the cameras are hidden, and that the crew have no idea who Matt really is. There's not supposed to be any visible evidence that the rest of the people, like Zack and Tim, are being filmed. (00:03:05)

Trivia: Ryu, from Street Fighter, is seen in the first race as an avatar walking among the cars. He is walking away from the camera the way he does in his iconic end game cinematics after victory. (00:10:30)

Trivia: In the video that Halliday left behind after his death, you see floral arrangements around his coffin that are in the shape of the Star Trek's Federation symbol and one of the Enterprise. But the really cool thing is his coffin is actually a photon torpedo, exactly like Spock was put in after his death at the end of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Complete with the blue Federation flag draped over the end of it. (00:08:05)

Continuity mistake: After the dragon slips on Zelda's banana peel, Link leaps off it and turns to fire a sword laser at him. Before the cut, Link's hands are on the handle where his right hand is over his left hand. Then it cuts to a different angle and his hands switch positions suddenly. (00:04:30)

Continuity mistake: Zelda catapults her fruit basket at the dragon using a tree. As the basket is flying through the air towards the camera, you can see stray grapes flying with it, under the basket. But as the basket draws closer to the camera, the grapes under it suddenly disappear. (00:03:00)

Trivia: After Aech picks up the EM-1 Rail Gun, she zooms in on a fight in the distance where their friends Daito and Sho are fighting. The yellow ninja that Daito kicks in the face holding an ax is Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat game franchise. (00:05:50)

Bug: Labyrinth of Death: In the rafter like area after the beginning spawn zone, on the right side of it on the top level, there is an explodable propane tank there. Sometimes when viewing it, it will be partly stuck in the ground as if it sank through the metal.

Bug: At the desk, the floor has a blurry layer to it to make things that have been knocked off the desk appear out of focus because of distance. But if an item is hanging off the desk, you can see only parts of it go blurry.

Bug: UberHeart Transplant: The Medic's saw can get stuck between the fingers of your hand. Tilting it side ways shows that it is just stuck, like a magnet to one finger and not touching the other.

Bug: Sometimes after killing an enemy, the blood will go through the wall and land in the black area outside of the map. Which is doubly weird since blood normally only stays around the same spot the enemy was killed in.

Bug: Often times on some doors, the shadow of a zombie or human can be seen going through the door, and sometimes walls as well.

Continuity mistake: Star Wars Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base: After Kylo says he looks forward to having some real talk with real folks, it cuts to the Storm Troopers getting lunch. As one is getting his tray, there is a sign on the wall stating "Keep your helmet on for safety." This sign is hanging loose by just one corner. But in the next shot, it's straight and held up correctly on the wall. (00:00:40)
