Continuity mistake: In the speeder chase, the one-eyed raider lines up behind Rey and pulls out his blaster to fire a shot at her from behind. She ducks the blast, and then suddenly in the next shot the one-eyed raider is now practically beside her and his blaster is away. (00:01:15)

Continuity mistake: During the speeder chase, after the one-eyed raider fires a blast at Rey, the metal mask raider tries to ram her from the side. In one shot, we see him start to lean to the right and lift up, getting ready to ram, but then in the next shot he's suddenly already fully leaning all the way to the left and starting to move towards Rey. Also, the black flap on the back of his speeder vanishes. (00:01:17)

Continuity mistake: When the metal mask raider tries to ram into Rey, he leans over and slides towards her with one hand lifted up on his bike grip pulling towards her and both arms are bent at the elbows. Then in the next shot, when Rey pulls back and just before the two raiders slam into each other, suddenly the masked raider's arms are straight and his left hand is now pushing down on the grip instead of pulling up. It also seems the one-eyed raider is turned more between shots. (00:01:19)

Trivia: Mega Man 1 is the only platformer in the Mega Man franchise with a score system. However, it doesn't really do anything. You can't save your score, it doesn't grant extra lives, and it has no effect on the game really in any way other than score pickups instead of health at times. They actually carried this over in the PSP remake of Mega Man Powered Up, where it still functions much the same useless way.

Trivia: The promotional commercials in Japan for this game show Mega Man using the wrong weapons against the Master Bots. Like using Thunder Beam on Guts Man, who is weak to Hyper Bomb. Using Rolling Cutter against Fireman who is weak to Ice Slasher. And Fire Storm against Ice Man who is weak to Thunder Beam.

Continuity mistake: After Blade and Buffy square off in the bathroom and have a bit of quote banter, she throws her left arm and fist down as if getting ready to go for an uppercut with that arm and her right is balled up next to her face. Then it cuts to a close-up and suddenly her left fist is back up next to her face balled up and her right hand is outstretched like she's grabbing at Blade. (00:22:10)

Continuity mistake: After they get out of the restroom, Blade throws Buffy towards the bar, and we see the counter of the bar from two angles between shots. Between these shots, the items on the bar in front of Buffy change to different and more items, with it mostly just being a single candle and a cup in the first shot, but then more cups, a cloth, and a bottle in the next. Continuity mistake: After Buffy slashes Blade's gun with her axe, it shows the bullet thing fly back and then turn around to go back and hit her in the leg. But if you watch in the background, Buffy is there out of focus and blurry but is shown still bringing her axe around in the air with her arms up at an angle. Then in the next shot, suddenly her arms are down with her holding her axe at her side in a ready position. (00:22:38)

Continuity mistake: After Blade's bullet curves back and gets Buffy in the back of the leg, she falls to her knees and is shown being some considerable distance away from the bar. Then, a couple of shots later, as she starts to get up, she's suddenly much closer to the bar. (00:22:44)

Trivia: The horrendous box art for Megaman 1 has a notorious design for the titular character and is regarded as one of the worst box arts in history. But as a nod to this, Bad Box Art Megaman appears as a playable character in Capcom x Tekken and appeared in the cancelled Megaman Universe game. Bad Box Art Megaman appeared a few times in the Archie Megaman comics, usually in the Short Circuits comedy strips, or even on a variant cover of Issue #33.

Continuity mistake: After Buffy pulls the knife out of her shoulder, she headbutts Blade and her face is angled down, but then suddenly in the next shot their faces are close together and she's merely pushing Blade away. Factual error: In the original English NES copies of this game, at the end of the game it says the Robot Masters are made by Dr. Right instead of Dr. Light. Dr. Right is his name in the Japanese version.

Trivia: Megaman 3 is the game where sliding was introduced. There was a point in development where they considered letting Megaman crouch, but they decided that the player wouldn't really see much difference in the shot placements when crouched. So they went with a sliding mechanic idea instead.
