New today Continuity mistake: Harold Lloyd, driving a horse-drawn trolley, is trying to draw the attention of a police officer walking on the sidewalk. The officer walks past the Gilt Edge Creamery and the steps of an apartment building. After a close-up of Harold, the officer again walks past the creamery and the apartment building.

New this month Other mistake: Vanellope steals a car from the Slaughter Race game and speeds off. Shank, the main character of the game, commandeers another car and chases Vanellope. When Shank's car is seen in Vanellope's rear-view mirror, the image is not reversed. Shank appears to be driving from the passenger seat.

New this month Trivia: The street names in the Slaughter Race game are the last names of Disney artists and animators, including (Frank) Thomas, (Ollie) Johnston, (Frank) Wright, (Fred) Moore and (Fred) Spencer.

New this month Continuity mistake: Upon learning that a friend is about to be married to a wealthy man who is still married to his first wife, Harold races to the man's mansion to halt the wedding. Driving a wagon pulled by two horses, he passes the Western Costume Company which was then at 7th and Figueroa in Los Angeles. After passing through a series of tunnels on the road that is now part of the Harbor Freeway, Harold again goes past the Western Costume Company.

New this month Continuity mistake: As Harold scales a six-story building, the background is of a busy Los Angeles street with a department store and other businesses. When Harold reaches the fifth floor, the background is a completely different street.

Safety Last! (1923)

Continuity mistake: With a piece of white chalk, Harold Lloyd writes "kick me" in reverse on one of the columns of a department store. Harold later leans against the column and the words appear on the back of his coat. A young boy kicks Harold and as Harold turns to walk away, the words have disappeared.

Continuity mistake: Knowing a security guard is about to eject him from an office building, Harold Lloyd grabs a secretary's pillow and flings it into the hallway. The pillow lands at an angle to the doorway, but when Lloyd is shoved out and lands on the pillow, the pillow is parallel to it.

The Case of the 12th Wildcat - S9-E8

Other mistake: Perry, Paul and Della attend a Wildcats football game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Stock footage shows a packed stadium. After the game ends, a close-up shows the three exiting the stadium along with several other people. The next scene takes place outside the entrance to the Coliseum. In a long shot, only two cars and six people are visible. In 1965, the Coliseum's seating capacity was 101,574. Where did everyone go?

Other mistake: Harold Lloyd, aboard a cruise ship, looks over the railing. There is a shot of two sharks swimming in the water and another shot of several men rowing a kayak. However, the ship is just starting to pull away from the dock and Harold is on the side of the boat overlooking the dock. There is no way he could have seen sharks and rowers.

Continuity mistake: Mark and Vern sit at a table in the hotel dining room. After they order beef stew, Vern sets his menu on top of a plate. When Lucas enters and sits down, the menu has vanished.

Continuity mistake: Lucas, Micah and Joe are riding to the home of Old Tony and the sleeves of Lucas' long-sleeved shirt are rolled up. In a long shot, as Tony watches the men approach, Lucas' sleeves are down. In the following close-up, the sleeves are rolled up.

Other mistake: At the beginning of the episode, Lucas and Mark are riding their horses and discover a large footprint of a cougar. Near the end of the episode, Lucas is riding in a different area and sees another cougar footprint. The close-up of the footprint is the same one that was shown earlier. (00:01:00 - 00:21:00)

Continuity mistake: In a scene set in 1862, Harold Lloyd portrays his own grandfather, a Confederate soldier. An elderly woman gives him a tiki-like lucky charm which she says will protect him as he confronts leaders of the Union Army. After he successfully fights off two soldiers he holds the charm in his left hand, but the close-up shows the charm in his right hand, then it's back in his left hand in the next shot.

Revealing mistake: Ben Matlock is hosting a pre-wedding party for his goddaughter. Several cars are parked on both sides of the street in front of Ben's house. Each time the front door is opened, the view seen from inside the house looking out is the same matte painting used in every episode. It shows a house and trees but no cars.

Continuity mistake: Charles is delayed getting home on his wedding anniversary because a wheel on his wagon broke, he had no jack and he had to make repairs during a heavy rainstorm. Rain is still falling late at night and can be seen through the window when Caroline hears Charles arriving. She runs outside to greet him and suddenly there is no rain.

Continuity mistake: To prevent two welfare workers from taking the child of her unemployed roommate, Betty Lou Spence claims the baby is her own. A newspaper article, shown in close-up, says she fought "all who sought possession of the tiny child." The word "possession" is hyphenated. One line of the article ends with "pos-" and the next line begins with "session." When the newspaper is shown again, the hyphenation is different. One line now ends with "posses-" and the next line begins with "sion."

Continuity mistake: Leonardo is dangling from the railing of his yacht as the yacht travels at a high speed. In the next scene, looking out from a room with a large window, Leonardo can be seen still clinging to the railing but the yacht now appears to be motionless.

Character mistake: Billy has second thoughts about selling his late sister's beach house to a developer who plans to tear it down and build a hotel. Billy tells Ben, "She lived the last years of her life here." But in part 1 of this two-part episode, it was established that the woman had lived in the house for only six months.

Other mistake: The Lassiter brothers have kidnapped a judge and a posse is searching for them. One of the men says they should quit for the day because "it's almost sundown." Judging by the shadows of the men, their horses and nearby trees, the time appears to be around 1 PM.
