Character mistake: An astronaut ends a radio communication with Major Montez by saying, "Athena 5, over and out." No astronaut or member of the military would use that phrase. "Over" means "please respond." "Out" means "I am ending this communication." (00:18:05)

Revealing mistake: While Perry and two other men are drinking brandy at a table onboard a ship, stock footage of a storm at sea is shown. To simulate the rocking motion of the ocean, the camera slowly tilts from side to side. This is obvious because the surface of the brandy in the glasses also tilts. If the ship were really rocking, the surface of the brandy would remain horizontal.

Continuity mistake: Laurel and Hardy are playing golf with two young women. A woman throws a handful of mud at Viola Richard. It hits the left side of her face, but in the next shot, the lower half of her face is covered with mud.

Factual error: Ralph asks Alice, "Remember me promising you I was gonna get you two tickets and take you to see a real Broadway show?" Alice replies, "Yeah, I remember. That was Thursday, August the 5th, 1942." That date was on a Wednesday.

Other mistake: In the first scene of Snow White with her parents at the wishing well, her father is to her right and her mother is to her left. When seen from inside the well looking up, Snow White's father is to her left and the mother is to her right. A similar error occurs during the second scene at the well.

The next morning, Perry's incoming mail includes a retainer from Allen. His letter and check would not have arrived until the following day, at the earliest.
