Bonanza (1959)

Enter Mark Twain - S1-E5

Factual error: Samuel Clemens, who has written several humorous tales for the Territorial Enterprise, tells the publisher he would like to start writing serious news stories. The publisher replies, "This is a newspaper, not a comic strip. You write it and I'll print it." The first comic strip, "The Little Bears," debuted in 1893 and the term "comic strip" did not enter the vocabulary until 1920. "Bonanza" is set in the 1860s.

When Shank's car is seen in Vanellope's rear-view mirror, the image is not reversed. Shank appears to be driving from the passenger seat.

After the game ends, a close-up shows the three exiting the stadium along with several other people. The next scene takes place outside the entrance to the Coliseum. It (1927)

Continuity mistake: To prevent two welfare workers from taking the child of her unemployed roommate, Betty Lou Spence claims the baby is her own. A newspaper article, shown in close-up, says she fought "all who sought possession of the tiny child." The word "possession" is hyphenated. One line of the article ends with "pos-" and the next line begins with "session." When the newspaper is shown again, the hyphenation is different. One line now ends with "posses-" and the next line begins with "sion."
