Looking for a 90's movie about a evil clown, not the movie IT. I just remember it was the scariest thing I had ever seen on television when I was a kid, and It also had to do with the clown appearing in different places to scare people.
Chosen answer: Might be Killer Klowns from Outer Space. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095444/combined.
I am looking for the name of a movie from I think the 90s, about a couple that have a son and he abuses her a lot - one day she tries to call the cops but he stabs her repeatedly outside of their home, but she does not die. I saw it when I was younger and have been wondering about it since.
Chosen answer: It's called "A cry for help: The Tracey Thurman Story".
This movie is not Forever Young with Mel Gibson but the plot is pretty much the same. Two guys some time in maybe the 40's or 50's end up inside of Cryopods. When they wake up they go to their lockers and one of the guys who needs to take medication realizes that his yellow pills are now moldy and ineffective. They leave the facility where their Cryopods were at and go to a McDonalds to try to get something to eat but don't have any money. They eventually realize that they are now living in the 80's and have to find a way to adjust to their new home.
Answer: Sounds like "Late for Dinner" (1991).
I am trying to find a movie (made for TV maybe?) from about 1985 to 1995 where one boy is either a runaway or homeless and living in or near a train station or maybe a subway. He figures out how to make money by selling used newspapers to commuters. I also remember a part where he is helped by a lady working at a snack bar/lunch counter who sells him two ice cream cones for the price of one. He also has an older boy for a friend who I think was developmentally disabled and gets injured running from the police maybe? The main character was an African American boy about 11 years old and the older boy was white and about 13-14. All of this is a vague memory so the details could be mixed up between more than one movie. I remember seeing it on TV more than once. Thank you.
Chosen answer: The movie is called Runaway. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0320383/.
Trying to remember the name of a movie possibly from the 90's. Don't have much memory other than robbers breaking into a family home but turns out that the family are murderers and they have some people locked in a room, tied to beds, tortured. People may be disfigured or it may be from the torture?
Answer: Could be "The people under the stairs" from 1991.
In what movie is there a scene where I think someone is talking and says something along the lines "fed the fish" then it shows pizza crust in the fish tank? it came up at dinner and now all my friends are trying to recall the movie and it is bothering me please help.
Answer: Sounds like a scene from "Just One of the Guys".
There was a movie about an older man who had fallen in love with teenager. However, the girl doesn't love him back and he becomes so angry that he uses astral projection to torment her and kill her friends. The more the guy uses astral projection, the more hideous his appearance. The girl then turns to a teenage guy for help. The movie ends with her friend getting killed and his astral form killing the man. When she tells the police what happened, they don't believe her and place her under arrest for killing the man. Bridgette Nielsen had a cameo appearance in it as a librarian.
Answer: I believe this is 976-EVIL 2: The Astral Factor.
You will be our hero if you can answer this question for us! We just need the title of this movie! It is NOT "Blow Out" with John Travolta, nor "FX," but it is of the same genre. (Mystery/Suspense/Thriller/Who-Done-It). It came out around the 1970's or 80's. The lead actress COULD have been Cindy Williams, or someone who looked like her. The key scene, around which the whole storyline revolved, was a man and woman holding a private conversation about some crime or secret matter as they slowly walked around a large circular fountain in a public park. The hero of the story, through whose eyes it was told, was a technician who had several shotgun-microphones secretly set up in various hidden positions around the park to monitor that rendezvous point at the fountain on the plaza. The crux of the story is he accidentally picks up a conversation having to do with an impending murder, or big crime, or something. It was actually very well made and suspenseful. Can you remember the name of that movie?
Chosen answer: This is the 1974 film "The Conversation" directed by Francis Ford Coppolla. It stars Gene Hackman as a surveillance expert who records a couple's conversation on his hidden microphones about what might be a murder plot. John Cazale and Cindy Williams also star in the film.
I can't remember if this was a movie or an episode from a TV show, but the main plot deals with a man who comes across a pendant and discovers that a person is trapped inside of it. The only way to free that person and give them back their life is to take somebody into a specific wooded area and then kill that person. When that happens, the person who was in the pendant is released but the person he killed is now trapped in the pendant. Eventually, he keeps killing people so that the previous person can be released and someone else is trapped.
Answer: It's from a television series called "Friday the 13th: The Series". Season 3, Episode 14, Repetition. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092357/episodes?season=3&ref_=tt_eps_sn_3.
That's the one.
Need the name of a movie where the main actress looks like Kat Dennings. Her BF is in a band and proposes on stage, she says no, and they break up. She gets a new red haired boyfriend, she loses her cat at one time and he looks for it. She is a cartoonist. Draws random events that happened to her and her present/past boyfriend. In the end she has an art exhibit of her drawings. Her sister is getting married at some point and I think she (main actress) gets pregnant. I'm interested in searching for the drawings she did in the film.
Chosen answer: Sound like "Save the Date".
There was a movie I saw on TV several months ago. It took place in Britain at a school with a student. In the movie, there is some kind of group or band who is popular among kids but for reasons unknown, anyone caught wearing a shirt of the group is arrested. The kid is asked by two fellow students to bring them shirts of the group. He does but when he hands them the shirts, they deny asking anything of him or that they even know him. When the boy turns around, he sees that he's face to face with a cop and his family has to bail him out of jail. What made this movie shocking was that the boy, his sister and his parents were werewolves.
Answer: Wolfblood: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfblood.
Thanks. Also, why would anybody who wore a shirt of the group be arrested?
I saw an animated movie in the 90's (maybe an 80's movie, Secret of NIMH style) where I only really vaguely remember the beginning scene (I think). *At night, possibly raining* Two characters in a small room when a knock at the door comes, the older of the two knew it was threatening so hides the younger behind a cupboard door, then a struggle between the older and intruder ensues (Holding a knife I believe), the light swings about and young'n witnesses this. Any ideas?
Answer: That is Disney's The Great Mouse Detective from 1986.
What's the movie? A jungle village, a single nurse/missionary meets a roving doctor touring remote tribes, They fall in love, after he is long gone she finds she is pregnant, aghast at the situation herself, but the tribe welcome her as family and together they raise her son. The doctor returns after 5-6 years, finds he has a son but can't let the stigma soil his family's name. He plans that they should marry, she being a widow, and he adopts her son so they can go back to civilization, out of the savage jungle with nobody knowing the details. She tells him off and stays.
Chosen answer: The Sins of Rachel Cade, starring Angie Dickinson and Roger Moore.
A cowboy movie of 4 or 5 street teens who in the event of stealing a horse and wagon discovers there is a baby on board, and they grow up raising her as their sister. One of the brothers was black. I think his name was Adam, and another brother was named Colt.
Answer: I never saw the movie, but based on your description and it's similarity to a series of books I read, I believe this is Rose Hill, and it aired in 1997.
Just saw "outbreak" on TV, also saw it several years ago. There's a scene where the camera is passing through the various levels of a bio lab increasing in danger to the higher levels. I remember as the camera passed through each door it would list the various viruses (Ebola, anthrax, etc) that were worked on. When I saw the movie recently it did not list the viruses as it passes through each level. Did something change or am I thinking of another movie?
Answer: Movies tend to get edited for television not only for content, but to fit the standard US television hour: 45 minutes of film, 15 minutes of commercials. Outbreak is 127 minutes long, which means they had to lose 7-12 minutes for American television. The scene you describe doesn't sound particularly important to the plot, and thus, safe to cut. You might be thinking of the mini-series "The Stand," which begins with a similar scene on the base that the virus escapes from showing that everyone in the facility is dead. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108941/).
Looking for the title of a 2013 low budget horror/slasher movie about a preteen boy whose older brother is a serial killer. The boy is a horror movie fan and I think the setting may be the 1980's. It sounded interesting and got a decent review. Thanks!
Chosen answer: Most likely "Found" from 2012: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2149360/.
Okay so I would like help finding out the name of this movie. I think it was made in the 80's maybe the early 90's. The only thing i remember is it was about a girl who is rich and I think she complains about her life, and so she switches lives with a poor person. I also only remember that there is a scene where a girl skinny dips.
Answer: It's 'Maid to Order, ' starring Ally Sheedy.
What is the name of this black and white movie? A cowboy has himself thrown in jail to break out another cowboy (his son?). The younger cowboy won't leave, so the older one breaks out and heads for Canada until the heat dies down. It's a lighthearted, funny movie until the end, when he crosses the border. He and his horse are hit by a car. The police have to shoot the dying horse and he's taken away in an ambulance. The film ends with a shot of his bloody cowboy hat in the middle of the street.
Chosen answer: The movie is Lonely are the Brave with Kirk Douglas from 1962.
I only remember what I think is the beginning of this movie. A dad makes a bid at a silent auction on a house. They win the house but the dad dies before they find out. The house is a real mess and I remember his family standing outside looking at it ready to move in, realising how much work needs to be done on it.
Answer: Try "The War" (1994).
