Welcome to Kanagawa - S4-E10

Continuity mistake: Adam hands Katherine the note he found on the floor written by her aunt in a previous episode. Katherine is holding the paper up. When Adam walks around her in the next shot, the paper is gone and Katherine is only holding her keys/purse. The close up of Katherine (the very next shot) shows her holding the paper again.

General questions

Question: I am looking for the title of a movie. I only saw the ending, I think. I saw it in the early-mid '80s, though the movie may be older. I remember people were trapped in a partially submerged plane (?) in the ocean. They were all escaping and I remember a young woman with long hair and an older gentleman. The woman had swam from the plane to a safety place where she was helped up. Then she turned and all the survivors were yelling at the older man to hurry up. He doesn't make it. He ends up drowning, being shot, or eaten by fish. I can't remember exactly. I thought it was The Poseiden Adventure, but the ending didn't match with what I remember. Can anyone help me?

Chosen answer: It was a sequel to the Poseidon Adventure, with Michael Caine and Sally Field. They are treasure hunters, claiming salvage rights. They encounter more survivors, including Mark Harmon and Slim Pickens. Another crew of hunters show up, led by Telly Savales, try to kill them. They escape from the ship by swimming to Caine's boat, Pickens is shot.

Question: Why isn't Owen Wilson credited anywhere in the film? He had a rather large role to not be a part of the credits.

Chosen answer: According to IMDB, Wilson's role was originally just a cameo (thus no need for a credit), but his character tested well with audiences, so his role was enlarged.

Continuity mistake: After Callahan hits on Elle, she pushes his hand off her knee and uncrosses her legs. In the very next shot her legs are crossed again.
