Emergency!

Publicity Hound - S1-E8

Other mistake: When Johnny is complaining about Tom Wheeler while the guys are preparing lunch, Squad 51 is dispatched to a structure fire so Roy and Johnny head out of the kitchen, but Marco turns the stove flame off and the rest of the guys in the engine company leave the kitchen as well, even though they were not dispatched.

Other mistake: After Johnny gets off the phone with Tom Wheeler, and starts complaining about him while the guys are preparing lunch, there are two milk containers on the table which have orange tape covering the brand names.

Nurse's Wild - S1-E7

Continuity mistake: At the liquor store, when Roy is seeing to the store owner with chest pains, Roy snaps a black headed lead onto the disc, but in the man's closeup it's a white headed lead. Then when Brackett orders countershock, the lead is back to black.

Dealer's Wild - S1-E6

Continuity mistake: At the airport, when Roy is being told about young Frankie flying the airplane because his father had a heart attack, we see that Roy's wearing his uniform shoes, but in the shot of Roy following the airport employee while they're running into the building, Roy (perhaps his double) is wearing tan work boots. The uniform shoes are back when Roy uses the grounded plane's radio mic.

Botulism - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: After Squad 51 is dispatched to "possible heart case" when Roy and Johnny walk into the house, we can see in the hallway and there's a bureau against the wall, but when they leave that bureau is gone and now there's a painting on the wall which we should have seen in the earlier shot, but it wasn't there.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: The morning after the cave-in rescue, when Roy shows Johnny the newspaper article while Dixie and Brackett arrive at the scene, the second button on Johnny's shirt keeps unbuttoning and buttoning itself up.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: After the car falls over the cliff, Roy and Johnny notice Dixie lying on the ground and in her closeup her sweater sleeve is rolled up above her elbow, but in the following shots that sleeve is rolled down properly until Roy pulls it up to take her BP.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When Brackett and Early walk into the treatment room with the boy whose rabbit is stuck inside a sousaphone, they head into the treatment room opposite the receiving entrance, on the same side as the nurses' station. However, after the rabbit's rescued, when Dixie opens the door so the boy can leave the room we can see it faces the wall and treatment room beside the nurses' station. I would provide treatment room numbers, but the room numbers keep changing in this episode.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: At the very start, as the camera moves through Station 10, the Battalion Chief's vehicle is parked beside the fire pole, but when the tones drop and everyone rushes to the rigs, the Chief's car is now parked much further up, closer to the apparatus bay door.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Other mistake: At the start, while Station 10 is en route to the fire, there's a closeup of the front of Truck 10 (with aerial ladder) and the large round sticker with the company number 10 imprinted on it can be seen affixed to the rig's surface, even over its two bars of chrome trim. Then at the incident the large sticker with their company number affixed to the front has shrunk significantly, now it's not covering the chrome trim.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Other mistake: On scene at the factory fire, soon after we hear Battalion 14 over the HT saying, "Engine 210... Pump Engine 10's three-and-a-half from the hydrant..." there's a closeup of firemen behind one of 10's engines and we can see part of its license plate with 094, but none of 10's rigs have those numbers on their plates.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Revealing mistake: When Squad 10 is dispatched to "possible electrocution," just as the apparatus bay door opens and the squad rolls out, we can see a police officer holding back traffic for the filming of this shot.

The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1

Other mistake: On scene at the "possible electrocution", when John is on the raised snorkel waiting for the power to be cut, we hear the worker who is up on the utility pole whistling to grab his co-worker's attention, but the subtitles read that it's John who whistles.

Inferno - S3-E21

Other mistake: When Roy and Johnny are at base camp during the fire, they're dispatched to the incident at Jawbone Canyon. While en route, Battalion 5 orders Engine 51 to approach from the north, and we hear Captain Stanley respond, "Engine 51, 10-4," but it's odd that the subtitles read that Johnny is the one who responds. Later, after Tanker 44 tanks 51, Chet says, "Cap, we've got a charged line," but the weird subtitles read, "Captain's going to throw us a line."

Understanding - S3-E13

Other mistake: When they're trying to identify the address of the attempted suicide, Engine 51 stops and is standing by at 223 Street and Ridgely, while the squad drives elsewhere, and when Squad 51 stops it's standing by at 218 Street and Carson. However, when they're dispatched we see that the rigs are actually pulling away from the same corner but facing opposite directions, note the area and background. Then when Johnny and Roy put on their turnouts, in the next shot of Engine 51 it's now driving towards the camera in the opposite direction on the same street they had pulled away from.

Show Biz - S2-E3

Other mistake: When Squad 51 is on scene at the drowning incident, the victim's wife is wearing very unusual rings. One ring has a jumbo orange ball, another has a large cluster of small gold balls, and the third has large black and white pearls. Later, when the models are at the station they are wearing identical rings as seen in the previous scene, Suzanne is wearing two of the prop rings and Kathy is wearing the pearl ring.

Decision - S2-E1

Other mistake: After rescuing the boy and his dog from the structure fire, when both of 51's rigs are backing up the driveway, the office door opens and we can see through the glass door that someone is standing there, even though they're all on the rigs. Next shot, that phantom individual has vanished.

Dilemma - S1-E10

Continuity mistake: After being dispatched to "industrial accident at railroad yard," once they rescue the man from the train car carrying trichlorethylene, when Roy and John are standing beside Engine 51 we can see the empty red disc on the side of the engine covering the real engine company number (127), as well as the American flag sticker on the windshield. Earlier, when they were dispatched, there's no disc or sticker in the closeup of Engine 51 (played by Engine 60).

Dilemma - S1-E10

Other mistake: When Roy and John get back to the station and start discussing Cynthia, John takes a milk container out of the fridge which has orange tape covering the brand name.

Dealer's Wild - S1-E6

Continuity mistake: At the scene of the traffic accident, after removing the injured driver from the overturned tanker, when Roy gets the Biophone from the squad and John runs over to the ambulance stretcher, notice the red rectangular material adhered to the front of Engine 51's cab. We know that Engine 51 does not have a license plate on the front of its cab, and during this scene Engine 51 is being played by the real Engine 127, whose license plate is at the front of its cab.
