Visible crew/equipment: When Dr. Bracket and Dixie begin to explain to Jenny that she was only hyperventilating, as she sits down in the wheelchair, the actor's tape mark is visible on the floor by the door, just before Dr. Bracket walks over and stands on it.
Visible crew/equipment: When DeSoto calls Gage to where he found the dog, the two actors' tape marks are visible on the floor when Gage sits on his bed.
The Wedsworth-Townsend Act - S1-E1
Visible crew/equipment: When Dixie tells the ambulance attendants to put the girl with the severed right arm in room five, just as the camera tilts down when the first attendant pulls the gurney, the black tape mark is visible on the floor where he was just standing.
Other mistake: Station 51 responds to an "accident with injuries, " address 7526 Sunset, cross street, Abbott, to rescue two people stuck on scaffolding at the top of the tall building. This distinctive, mirrored glass building was also used this season in episode 6, "Rules of Order", with the address given as 3120 South Century, cross street, Burgess, for the rescue of two people hanging off the side of the tall structure. The actual building address is 500 190th Street, Gardena, CA.
Visible crew/equipment: When Gage and DeSoto are driving away from Rampart, discussing DeSoto's possible purchase of a new house, dispatch calls about a traffic accident. In this exterior closeup shot of Squad 51, the reflection of the camera's flatbed vehicle is visible on Squad 51's red surface.
The Lighter-Than-Air Man - S5-E8
Continuity mistake: After Gage opens the baby layette wrapping, he and DeSoto exit the kitchen to answer a phone call. When dispatch calls on Engine 51, the rest of the guys start to pile out of the kitchen, but in the next overhead shot the guys are actually exiting the doorway that leads to the locker room, not the kitchen. The interior of Station 51's setup when facing it is, to the right are Captain Stanley's office and the kitchen, and on the opposite side to the left are the sleeping quarters and locker room.
Visible crew/equipment: When Gage and DeSoto are stuck cleaning the squad again before The Inspection, Captain Stanley walks in and the actor's T-mark is visible on the floor just before he steps on it. Additionally, when Stanley walks away, and Chet catches up to him, another T-mark is visible on the floor near the doorway.
Loose Ends - S6-E12
Visible crew/equipment: At the hospital, when Gage sells the picnic tickets to Dixie and Dr. Early, just as Dr. Brackett walks up to the nurses' station, both Brackett's and Johnny's T-marks are visible on the floor.
Visible crew/equipment: At Rampart, when Dixie walks over to Dr. Brackett, who stands behind the station, the tape mark is visible on the floor, just before she steps precisely on it.
Continuity mistake: When Christy walks into Station 51's kitchen, the bag strap is on her shoulder, but close-up it is gone, only to be back next shot when she removes it a moment later.
Continuity mistake: When Squad 51 is dispatched and headed to their destination, interior shots looking out the windshield are shown. It is only in these shots that the Dodge truck's red hood has vents on its right and left sides. There is no such thing in any exterior shots of Squad 51. The hood's style also changes.
Revealing mistake: In at least three episodes, which include 'Saddled', 'Peace Pipe' and 'Women', the same corner restaurant/hot dog stand (with a striped orange/white awning and green vinyl bar stools) is featured. That would be fine, if it weren't for the fact that in each episode the street it is located on has a different name and different cross streets. It is obviously a set on the Universal Studios lot.
Peace Pipe - S2-E5
Continuity mistake: When DeSoto and Gage arrive at the corner shop for the gum ball machine rescue, in the overhead shot the front end of the parked RV is beside the lamppost, but in the next shot half its body is past the fixture.
Continuity mistake: At the stationhouse, when DeSoto and Gage are discussing the detective, in the shots facing Gage, DeSoto holds a cup of coffee in his hands, but in the shots facing DeSoto his cup is on the table.
Continuity mistake: When Gage plays the new game of poker with Kelly, the entire left side of the table is visible as the two begin. Next shot, DeSoto is suddenly sitting at that end, with an additional cup and saucer, opposite Kelly and Gage.
Dinner Date - S2-E10
Continuity mistake: When the paramedics and the rest of the firemen gather round the failed pacemaker patient, their positions change and in DeSoto's close-ups the Captain isn't seen (for the camera angle's sake), although in other shots he's right beside Gage. As an aside, note when Captain Stanley first first gets off the engine and trips in the background.
Continuity mistake: When DeSoto joins Gage at the kitchen table they discuss Gage's bright idea of rodeos. In all the shots facing DeSoto his hands are clasped together with the coffee cup on the table, but in all the shots facing his partner, he's holding the cup of coffee. The magazine ends up under DeSoto's arms between shots as well.
Continuity mistake: During the first two seasons of the show, when Engine 51 and Squad 51 are dispatched, sometimes one or both vehicles change their appearance when they leave the firehouse, while en route, or when they reach their destination. Note the hood, lights, etc.
Revealing mistake: When Squad 51 is dispatched from the stationhouse, the exterior shots show buildings, traffic, trees, etc., they pass along the way. In some close-up shots of Gage and DeSoto while en route, too much of the vehicle's left and/or right sides are visible, which actually shows nothing but a blank screen behind them.
Continuity mistake: When John first explains how to rescue the little girl in the hole, he wraps his left hand around his right wrist, but in the next shot it's his right hand that's around his left wrist.
Answer: I was rewatching a few first season episodes of Charlie's Angels (1976), and in S1xE6 "The Killing Kind," I recognized the same actor. So, to finally fully answer your question, the two baseball players in School Days are played by Rod Perry and Sean Fallon Walsh.
