Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny are trying to get the basketball player (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) out of the car, and when Roy exits the car to get equipment, the outlines of the mic transmitters and wires are visible on the back, left side of Johnny's shirt, and back, right side of Roy's shirt.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: When Brackett walks into the adjoining treatment room to talk to Pete about his pregnant wife, and tells him to sit, the legs (wearing jeans) of the cameraman/crew member are reflected on the chrome of the gurney, as he walks forward when the camera dollies in for a closeup.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: At the home of the pregnant woman who was shot, the only ones there with Dora are Pete, Roy, Johnny and Vince. When the two ambulance attendants bring in the stretcher, a crew member's entire right arm (wearing short, white sleeve with pinstripes) comes into view on the right side of the screen, as the camera pans back.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: When Art, the screenwriter, goes on his first ride-along with Squad 51, just as Art rambles on about the fire truck on its mission of mercy going 80 miles an hour, two shadows of mic/camera equipment are visible on the left and right side of Squad 51's hood. What's amusing is that a moment prior to this, Art actually says that they could mount a camera right on the hood of the truck, when they make the film about paramedics.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny climb the tower to rescue the man at the top, Johnny slips and Roy helps him down the ladder. When Chet begins his ascent, twice there are shots looking down the center of the tower, and in those two shots the cases of production equipment are visible on the landing where the camera is situated. The print on one case reads "400' MAGS", referring to the filmmaking magazines.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: After Johnny and Roy arrive on scene with the man trapped behind the semi, when they both put down the splints and drug boxes, the bulging outlines of the mic transmitters are visible on the back of their shirts as they bend over. Then, when Roy leans over to check on the victim, the outlines of the mic transmitter and wire are visible on the back of his shirt.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: After Roy and Johnny pick up supplies at the nurses' station, they walk down the hallway and stop midway to talk about Johnny's insomnia. After speaking a few moments, Johnny and Roy head for the exit, so the camera follows them without cutting away, and when a father and son enter the hospital the camera turns, without cutting away, and follows them up the hallway. Just before the father and son reach the nurses' station, the actors' two black tape mark are visible on the floor behind them, precisely where Roy and Johnny had been speaking.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: When Roy and Johnny are with the guy who got stuck in the tree while hang gliding, the outlines of the mic transmitters and wires are visible on the back of the victim's sweater and also the back of Johnny's shirt as he saws the branch, and then carries the victim to the Stokes.Super Grover
Visible crew/equipment: When Jason prevents Johnny from falling at the rock quarry, the outline of the mic transmitter is visible on the back of Jason's shirt (left side) in the overhead shot, as he hoists Johnny onto the platform, Then just after Johnny says that they should get out of there, in the shot of Roy bending over the trapped man, the outline of the mic transmitter is visible on the back of Roy's shirt.Super Grover
Captain Stanley: How are you and Brice getting along?
Roy: Fine. Fine. We're getting along just fine.
Captain Stanley: Thought for a while there might be a little personality problem.
Roy: No, I can work with just about anybody. I can get along with just about anybody.
Captain Stanley: Glad to hear that.
Roy: Just might have to bust him in the mouth to do it.
Trivia: It's in this episode that the Heimlich Maneuver is used for the first time by the paramedics. At the USC game, when a guy is choking on a hot dog, John and Roy are called, and John uses the Heimlich. Up until season 6 we've seen the guys use other methods, such as the ChokeSaver which look like huge white tweezers, to remove obstructions in an airway, as seen in 4x9, "Foreign Trade."Super Grover
