Continuity mistake: In the scene where the veterinarian gives the ring back to Ross, there is a dog in the background that goes from standing up to lying down to standing again depending on the shot.
The One With The Apothecary Table - S6-E11
Continuity mistake: When Phoebe and Rachel are first talking about the apothecary table, there are two piles of CDs on it. In the side shot you can see that the two CDs on the top of the pile in front of Rachel are overhanging by a few centimetres. The One Where Joey Dates Rachel - S8-E12
Continuity mistake: When Phoebe is playing Ms. Pacman to erase Chandler's high scores, the door of the apartment can be seen open. When she loses and starts swearing, Ross enters the apartment with Ben, opening the door. (00:19:10)
Continuity mistake: The bathroom in Chandler and Joey's apartment constantly changes in the direction it opens in. Sometimes the doorknob is on the left, sometimes it is on the right. The changes occur throughout the seasons, and in some cases the changes occur in back-to-back episodes.
The One With Phoebe's Wedding - S10-E12
Continuity mistake: After Ross greets Phoebe at the rehearsal dinner, he moves toward Mike as if he is going to speak to him. The camera cuts to Phoebe and Ross is now standing behind her, facing away from where Mike is.
The One With The Apothecary Table - S6-E11
Continuity mistake: When Phoebe and Ross are talking about Ross buying his sheets at the flea market, Phoebe says, "Ross, come on, you gotta loosen the purse strings a little" with her hands by her side. The camera cuts and her hands are now out in front of her.
The One With The Princess Leia Fantasy - S3-E1
Continuity mistake: When Ross gets takes out a Popsicle and says who dated a stripper, he takes a bite of his Popsicle and and the camera cuts to Rachel, then back to Ross and the bite has vanished.
Continuity mistake: The white dog that Joey gives Chandler sometimes has red lips and sometimes does not.
The One With the Male Nanny - S9-E6
Continuity mistake: When Ross says, "Not knowing when to shut up, that's my thing," the amount of pizza he has eaten changes between shots. (00:21:50)
The One With Phoebe's Birthday Dinner - S9-E5
Continuity mistake: Near the start, when Chandler asks if anyone else smokes, a woman with a brown jacket is seen getting a pack of cigarettes out her pocket. The camera cuts and now she has one in her mouth and is lighting it. (00:02:35)
The One With The Flashback - S3-E6
Continuity mistake: When Chandler drops the cue ball by Rachel and her friends, the pool cue on the pool table is straight. When he speaks to her, it is suddenly at a 45-degree angle. The chalk cube and blue box also change position.
The One Where Ross Meets Elizabeth's Dad - S6-E21
Continuity mistake: When Rachel is reading Chandler's horoscope, his arm goes from resting on the top of the couch around Monica to crossing his arms and back again between shots.
The One With All The Resolutions - S5-E11
Continuity mistake: Rachel mentions "the big thing," so Joey sticks his fingers in his ears to block her out. When Rachel pulls on his arms, the only things on the table are Joey's bottled drink, crayons, and coloring paper. In the next shot, we see Rachel's arms and she's not holding anything. It cuts to the next shot facing Joey, as he says, "Well then, it wouldn't be a secret, so yeah, that would be OK," and now there's a drinking glass on the table. Rachel removes it in the next shot.
The One With All The Resolutions - S5-E11
Continuity mistake: At the start, when the countdown hits 3-2-1, there's a closeup facing the TV, and in the TV's reflection the couch and armchair are both quite empty, but in previous and following shots both have people seated.
Answer: The statements that she's contradicting (that it is common, it happens to every guy, and it's not a big deal), are the things that a woman commonly says to a man who is suffering from erectile difficulty, typically to assuage his bruised ego. However, most men do not believe that these statements are true, as evidenced by Chandler's outburst. He's so caught up in the proof that women are lying about it that he gives himself away.
