The One With The Ring - S6-E23

Continuity mistake: Paul finally opens up, and cries like a baby to Rachel. While talking to her at the breakfast bar in the kitchen (when Rachel is trying to distract him with sex), he's wearing a white linen shirt that constantly changes between tear-stained and wrinkled to ironed and clean. The One With The Kips - S5-E5

Continuity mistake: Rachel and Phoebe are in the Central Perk, talking about leaving the group, and a jacket and a handbag are hanging on the arm of the chair behind Rachel, slightly to her left. Between shots it changes from just the jacket, then just the handbag and so on. This continues throughout the scene when Ross comes in and Phoebe leaves. As she gets up you see both again, however Rachel does not move enough to just show one and hide the other. (00:16:00)

The One Where Rachel Has a Baby, part 2 - S8-E24

Continuity mistake: When Phoebe and Ross are standing in front of the screen looking at all the babies and talking about why He and Rachel aren't together, some of Phoebe's hair is in front of her shoulder on the right hand side then the shot changes looking over Phoebe's shoulder at Ross. Then when you see Phoebe again her hair is behind her shoulder yet she has not moved or touched her hair. (00:45:00)

The One With All The Kissing - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: In the scene after Monica pretends to drop socks in the hallway in order to prevent Rachel from telling Ross she still loves him, Rachel goes back into the apartment and locks Monica out. Monica then starts to pound on the door with her bare left hand. The scene changes to the apartment and Ross opens the door to let Monica in. All of a sudden Monica is pounding the door with her right hand wrapped in a sock. (This continuity problem is for the widescreen version, where we see a closeup of Monica not seen on the DVD, in the hallway with a bare hand right before Ross opens the door. However, on the DVD there are extra shots of Ross and Rachel after seeing Monica's bare hand pounding and then seeing her with the sock on her hand, which gives her ample time to put it on). The One With Ross's Teeth - S6-E8

Monica: What happened to your teeth?
Ross: I whitened them.
Chandler: Really?
Ross: Yeah, what... What do you think?
Monica: Well, uh, I think I shouldn't look directly at them.
Ross: Come on, seriously.
Monica: Ross, they're really, really, really white!
Chandler: Yeah, what was wrong with your old... Human teeth?
Ross: Well, I did leave the gel on a little longer than it said to.
Monica: How much longer?
Ross: Uh, uh... A day.
Monica: Ross, you know that tonight is your date with Hillary?
Ross: I know! That's why I did it! Come on, are they really that bad?
Chandler: No. No, no, no, you'll be fine. Hilary's blind, right?
Monica: She will be after tonight.

The One With The Dirty Girl - S4-E6

Question: When Joey asks why he can't give Kathy the pen, Chandler says, "Because she's not eleven. And it's not the seventh night of Chanukah." What is Chandler talking about when he says, "It's not the seventh night of Chanukah?"

Answer: Usually by the seventh night of Hanukkah you don't know what to get the other person, and you will probably resort to getting the other person something insignificant. Chandler is basically saying that the pen is a stupid gift.

Answer: Chanukah is a Jewish celebration that occurs around the same time as the Christian Christmas. The celebration lasts for eight days and it is customary to give a small gift on each of the eight days. There is no special gift required and the line about it being "the seventh night" of Chanukah is just Chandler's sarcasm.
