The One With The Flashback - S3-E6

Continuity mistake: Phoebe and Ross are in the soon to be closed bar sitting on the pool table. He clears it of everything, but a few seconds later he stops making out because the "damn balls are in the way" and somehow magics up a handful of snooker balls. If you look closely when he's clearing the table, there are two dark balls at the side which he studiously ignores, and which Lisa Kudrow then surreptitiously grabs and takes onto the table with her so David Schwimmer can grab them later. The One With All The Kissing - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: When Phoebe says she is going to "pack her ass off" she walks toward the coffee house door, and they cut to a quick shot of Joey then back to the wide shot with the door, and Phoebe has disappeared. She did not have time to make it to the door and out. (Widescreen version). (00:15:50)

The One With The Jellyfish - S4-E1

Continuity mistake: Phoebe and her mother are in her mother's house at the beach. Phoebe has just found out that Phoebe senior is her real mother. Have a look at Phoebe's mother in this episode and the last episode of series 3 (The One At The Beach). Her hair is a lot shorter in series 4 even though no time has passed in the storyline. The One With All The Cheesecakes - S7-E11

Continuity mistake: Chandler walks into his apartment to find Rachel eating cheesecake without him. As the door is shutting, the pen on the Magnadoodle is hanging loose; it can be heard hitting the door when Chandler is closing it. The next shot shows Rachel stop eating, and when we next see Chandler, the door is closed and the pen is in its holder. (00:15:50)

The One With Ross' New Girlfriend - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: At the beginning when Rachel falls and starts bleeding, you can see that the wound is somewhere up above her forehead because the blood is running from the wound up there. However, throughout the rest of the episode she has a bandaid going horizontally across her forehead, nowhere near where the apparent wound was. (00:01:20)

The One With Rachel's Assistant - S7-E4

Continuity mistake: In the scene when Joey is talking to the producers of Mac and Cheese, he says, "We're not even shooting them anymore?!" As he says this he lifts his left arm up, but in the very next shot his left arm is back down by his side. (00:14:40)

The One Where Joey Dates Rachel - S8-E12

Continuity mistake: When Ross arrives at the classroom late and out of breath, he tosses his jacket at the hook, but it falls to the floor, and he walks behind the desk anyway. In the next wideshot of the class, as Ross still stands behind the desk, the coat is up on the hook. (Viewed on broadcast TV as a rerun, so there may be a missing shot that was removed for extra commercial time.). (00:07:05)

The One With The Tiny T-Shirt - S3-E19

Continuity mistake: Ross is over at Chandler and Joey's looking through the peep hole for hours waiting for Rachel to return. When she does and Ross sees her go inside with Mark, Ross tries to open the door to go see her, and Chandler jumps on his back to stop him. As Chandler says "I...am not going to let you do this", Ross grabs the door handle. Then the angle changes, and as Chandler says "You...are surprisingly strong," Ross is further from the handle and grabs it again. (00:13:15)

The One With The Jellyfish - S4-E1

Question: When Ross and Rachel are fighting, Chandler hides behind the door and bursts out saying, "I knew it!" When Rachel says, "It's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy, and it is a big deal!" is this just a Chandler moment or is there another joke I have missed?

Answer: The statements that she's contradicting (that it is common, it happens to every guy, and it's not a big deal), are the things that a woman commonly says to a man who is suffering from erectile difficulty, typically to assuage his bruised ego. However, most men do not believe that these statements are true, as evidenced by Chandler's outburst. He's so caught up in the proof that women are lying about it that he gives himself away.
