Continuity mistake: In the very first shot of Chandler and Rachel sitting on the couch, Chandler has his legs crossed left over right, but it cuts to the closeup and his legs are crossed right over left, then it's back to left over right.

Continuity mistake: While Mama Joey is looking for Chick Jr. and Duck Jr., the things pinned to the bulletin board beside the door have vanished when Monica and Chandler walk in, but after Monica walks out to check on the twins everything's back up on the board like it was before.
The One With The Prom Video - S2-E14
Continuity mistake: On the actual prom video tape, it only takes Ross a mere 12-13 seconds to run up the stairs, completely change outfits into his Dad's tux, and reappear ready-to-go on the stairway. This is impossibly fast. Also, it is not possible that the prom video tape was stopped and re-started during this time, which could account for the short duration. The reason is because Ross's mom was the one filming at this point. It turns out that she has no idea how to stop the video recorder. Thus, the video tape was one continuous recording, and we are expected to believe that Ross could change outfits within 12 seconds. (00:21:25)

Continuity mistake: When Chandler is seducing Jade in Central Perk, he turns to face Ross after handing her the tissues. The camera then cuts to another angle where he is still facing Jade, and then he turns again to face Ross. (00:06:40)

Continuity mistake: When Phoebe comes out of the bathroom after trying to get out the hummus stain on her dress, the bathroom door is left wide open. But when Monica is playing her message, the door is suddenly almost shut, though no-one had gone near the door.

Continuity mistake: When Phoebe calls Chandler in the car he is not wearing the seat belt. The shot changes and suddenly he is wearing the seat belt. A second later the seat belt is off again.
The One With The Fake Party - S4-E16
Continuity mistake: When Rachel is talking to Joshua near the drinks table at the party, he is holding a blue cup in his left hand and nothing in his right (this is most obvious when she's offering him a cherry). When she begins to choke, he raises his empty right hand to pat her on the back, then when she walks away there is suddenly a bottle in his raised hand. The shot changes, and his hand is again empty and he reaches down to the table and picks up the same bottle. (00:08:30)

Continuity mistake: In the shot where Joey meets Kristen the lights in the store window behind them are switched on. On the DVD at 05:19, you can see that the "CD" light is illuminated in blue. However, at 05:36 where they both shake hands, all the lights are switched off. (00:05:15)
The One With The Secret Closet - S8-E14
Continuity mistake: When Chandler mentions how long Alexandra has been massaging Monica, he is holding a bowl,and he walks away with it. But when Monica says to Phoebe, "you can understand why this would be weird for me", the bowl is on the table. (00:05:20 - 00:06:00)

Continuity mistake: When Monica says, "I just recently got out of a serious relationship," she is holding her glass in her left hand. The camera cuts to Pete and the glass is now in her right hand. It then switches back to her left hand in the next wide shot.

Continuity mistake: When Rachel mentions the cat's name, Ross has the ball. The camera does an instant cut, and Joey now has the ball. Ross did not throw the ball, as you hear the ball being caught every other time. (00:04:50)

Continuity mistake: In the dinner scene between Chandler and the girl from college, the spoon in front of Chandler moves without him touching it. (00:13:45)
