Continuity mistake: When Yugi activates the New World Circle spell card, there is a shot of him with his right arm raised while holding the card. In this shot, the other cards that he is holding in his left hand are pointed upwards. In the next shot, when he inserts the card into the duel disk slot, the cards in his left hand are pointed downwards. (00:20:05)

Continuity mistake: When the main characters have arrived on the base in the ocean, in the wide shot where Tristan is asking, "Just so I'm clear on this, you're good guys, right?", he is standing upright. When the shot cuts, his legs are more outstretched and bent slightly. (00:06:38)

A Duel with Dartz: Part 2 - S4-E34

Continuity mistake: When Kaiba activates the spell card Reflect Energy, a mini satellite appears on the wall behind Dartz. The satellite appears directly underneath the carving on the wall of a person whose soul was stolen by Dartz. The shot cuts to Yugi and Kaiba, but when it cuts back, the satellite has changed position and is now positioned in between two individual carvings. (00:14:34)

Continuity mistake: When Kaiba instructs his monster to attack the Mai knight, Kaiba says, "Quiet, I'm not going to let some mind tricks stop me from winning this duel," when questioned about the decision. In this shot, he is directly facing the opposite side of the field. But in the next shot, his body has rotated 90 degrees to the left and has his head turned to the right in order to face the opposite side of the field. (00:04:40)

Continuity mistake: Just before Rafael drives past the two security guards, in the wide shot, Roland and the other security guard are turned away from each other. Continuity mistake: When Yugi switches Big Shield Gardna back into defence mode, his left hand is pointed to the right, and his right hand is placed on the duel disk. In the next shot, his left hand is suddenly raised towards him so that he can look at the cards in his hand, and his right hand is also raised so that he can pick one of the cards. (00:13:10)

Continuity mistake: After Dartz has had Orichalcos Shunoros release Orichalcos Dexia and Orichalcos Aristeros onto the field, there is a wide shot shown from above that shows Shunoros in front of Dartz, taking up a large amount of the duel field in front of him. Dartz then activates the trap card Martyr Curse, which is directly in front of him, even though the previous shot showed there would have been no space for the card to be in front of him, due to Shunoros taking up a large amount of the field. Character mistake: Yugi mistakenly says if he doesn't get a monster out to defend himself Mai can attack him directly, which wouldn't be possible since the rules of Duel Monsters during the Duelist Kingdom arc forbade direct attacks on defenseless opponents. That rule wouldn't be implemented until the Battle City arc.
