Continuity mistake: When the skeleton soldiers advance towards the main characters after reappearing, one of them is holding an axe. Continuity mistake: When the Pharaoh realises his name has appeared on the cartouche, he has two rings on his fingers. Then during the same shot, when he says "Yugi, it worked," he curls the two fingers he is wearing his rings on even further, obscuring them from view. Continuity mistake: When Kaiba asks the main characters when they are going to give that lame friendship speech, Tristan replies, "When you stop pretending everything is a magic trick." Yugi is standing with his side facing Kaiba, and his head is turned to the right to face him. Also, Tea has her back to Kaiba and turns her head to face him. When the shot cuts, Yugi and Tea are facing Kaiba directly. (00:18:10)

Continuity mistake: When the main characters arrive back in the present, Yugi lifts his Millennium Puzzle to ask the Pharaoh if he's there. When he does this, the fingers on his right hand are tilted, but in the close-up of the puzzle, his fingers are level. (00:02:25)
Continuity mistake: After Tea goes to help Joey and Tristan carry Bakura, the Millennium Key and Millennium Scale are shown lying on the ground. The Millennium Key is placed on a floor brick that becomes a bigger brick when the shot cuts. (00:04:50)
Continuity mistake: When Tea goes into Yugi's room, there are cards on the desk. The cards (specifically the cards around his deck) change position when it cuts to a closer shot of the desk. (00:14:55)

Continuity mistake: Just before Silent Swordsman goes from Level 3 to Level 4, in the shot of Yugi saying "Since it's my turn, my Swordsman moves up in the world," the Swordsman's sword is raised. The next shot shows the Swordsman changing from Level 3 to Level 4, and the sword is no longer raised. (00:09:05)

Continuity mistake: After Yugi has activated Mirage Ruler, Pharaoh says, "I have no choice but to end my turn now." When he says this, Yugi's right arm is at his side. When the shot cuts to focus on him, his right forearm is extended. (00:14:07)

Continuity mistake: The Pharaoh says, "Say hello to my new friend," and draws a card from his deck. The card is held at an upright angle after he draws it, but when the shot cuts, the card is held at a horizontal angle. (00:07:22)
