Continuity mistake: When Yugi sees that the Millennium Puzzle is glowing, he grabs ahold of it with his hand. Part of the chain attached to the puzzle can be seen lying on top of it. Continuity mistake: Just after Blue Eyes White Dragon destroys Joey's last monster on the field, Kaiba asks him if he has come to his senses and is just going to give up. At this moment, Joey's right arm is at his side. Then in the next shot of Joey, his right hand is raised to his face, with his finger under his nose. (00:16:05)

Continuity mistake: When Joey tells Marik, "You have no idea who you're messing with," his right fist is raised, with his arm pointed toward the left side of his body. When the shot cuts, his right fist is pointed forward, with his arm positioned directly in front of him. (00:17:36)

Continuity mistake: After Marik and the main characters meet up at the top of the tower, it cuts to Kaiba, Mokuba and Ishizu standing on the ground below. In the wide shot, Mokuba and Ishizu are standing side by side and Kaiba is behind Mokuba, and all three are directly facing the tower. When the shot cuts, Kaiba and Mokuba are standing at a rotated angle in order to face the tower. (00:18:14)

Continuity mistake: After the close-up of the Fiend's Sanctuary card, Yugi wonders if he can trust Kaiba. In this shot, Mokuba is standing behind Kaiba to his left. When the shot cuts, Mokuba is directly behind Kaiba. (00:02:07)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi is holding the Fiend's Sanctuary card, he is holding it with the side of his index finger pressed against the back of the card. A couple of seconds later, after Yugi asks Kaiba what the meaning of this is, he now has two fingers pressed against the back of the card. (00:02:08)

Continuity mistake: When Joey, Tea, Tristan and Devlin are telling Yugi not to let Marik psych him out, Joey is standing in front of the other three and Devlin is standing directly in front of Tristan. When the shot cuts to an angle behind them, Devlin is now in front of Tristan to his right, Joey and Devlin are aligned with one another, and Tea is standing on Joey's left, despite being directly behind him in the previous shot. Continuity mistake: After Yugi has revealed the Fiend's Sanctuary card, there is a shot of Kaiba saying, "That is the card I gave him," where Yugi's hands are at his side. In the next shot of Yugi, his right fist is raised. (00:12:38)

Continuity mistake: When Marik says "You should feel honoured, Pharaoh," his right arm is straight. In the next shot, his right arm is bent at the elbow. (00:04:38)

Continuity mistake: In the wide shot where evil Marik tells good Marik, "Don't be a fool, Marik," Kaiba and Mokuba can be seen standing behind Yugi, while Ishizu and Odion can be seen standing behind Roland at a different corner of the duelling field. Minutes later, after the duel has finished, in the wide shot where Roland announces the winner, Kaiba and Mokuba are standing next to Ishizu and Odion. (00:09:25 - 00:11:30)

Continuity mistake: When Marik apologises to Ishizu, he is looking forwards, down towards the floor, but when the shot cuts, he is looking at Ishizu. (00:11:59)

Continuity mistake: After Yugi wonders if the Pharaoh's secret could be locked in the tablet, the scene cuts back to everyone on the platform. In a shot from above, Yugi, along with Joey, Tea, Tristan and Devlin, are standing in front of Marik. Seconds later, when Kaiba starts yelling, Tea and Devlin are standing behind Marik. (00:14:50)

Continuity mistake: When Marik tells Yugi it's time to leave, his arms are at his side. But in the next shot, his right forearm is raised so that he can hand him the Millennium Rod. (00:14:52)

Continuity mistake: When Marik gives Yugi the Millennium Rod, the two rings around his neck are missing. The rings reappear shortly after, when Kaiba says that the Battle City Tournament is over. Also in the shot of Kaiba saying the victory celebration has gone on long enough, the ring on Marik's left arm suddenly disappears before reappearing in the next shot. (00:15:00)

Continuity mistake: When Kaiba is about to begin explaining that the island will self-destruct, in the shot of him saying "This victory celebration has gone on long enough", Ishizu and Odion cannot be seen on the platform with the other main characters, despite being seen standing behind Marik throughout the scene. Later in the scene, Ishizu and Odion can be seen standing on the platform next to Marik in the wide shot where Kaiba says the tower will self-destruct in one hour. (00:15:08 - 00:15:32)
The Final Face Off: Part 5 - S3-E45
Continuity mistake: After Kaiba has told everyone that the island will explode in one hour, in the wide shot where Kaiba says "I don't kid", he and Mokuba are standing together, with no one else in sight. A few seconds later, when Mokuba says "It's all right now", Roland has suddenly appeared next to him. (00:15:32)

Continuity mistake: When Joey walks into Mai's bedroom, Mai is not wearing lipstick on her lips while she is lying on the bed. But seconds later, when Joey says, "You're supposed to be all right," she is suddenly wearing lipstick. (00:16:54)
