He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17
Continuity mistake: Once Peter comes home with hunky muscles, Lois starts pushing the kids out of the front door. Stewie is in a wagon beside the threshold of the door, and he turns his head to look at Lois next to him as she pushes Chris and Meg outside. In the next shot, suddenly Stewie is now directly in front of the door, with Lois in front of him, and his head has turned again. (00:15:50)

Continuity mistake: Peter brings Chris to the front door of the beautiful people club, and Warren steps out to greet them. There is a shadow cast on the sidewalk by the awning, and in the first shot, Peter and Chris are both standing in the shadow. In the next shot, suddenly Chris is no longer in shadow, Peter is at the very edge of the shadow, and Warren is much further away from the front door. (00:18:55)

Continuity mistake: After Peter falls into a vat of lard, he is in the hospital bandaged up with a tray table over his bed. As the doctor moves closer and it cuts to a close-up, suddenly Peter's eye is visible through the bandage. Also, a strange metal handle thing appears next to one of his cups. (00:20:20)

Audio problem: When Peter is driving in the car, he can't stop admiring himself in the rear view mirror. He is talking while looking in the mirror, but you can see the corner of his mouth not moving. (00:20:58)

Continuity mistake: In the very first scene, the background that Peter and Brian are walking past changes. (00:00:30)

Continuity mistake: When Joe jumps off the trampoline, the trampoline is a lot smaller than when it was before. (00:00:50)

Continuity mistake: In the cutaway gag after Peter says he thought about selling his body to science, there is his skeleton in a classroom hanging up. The teacher asks a girl to come up to it, and between shots, the stand his skeleton is hanging on moves much closer to the wall and corner of the room behind it. (00:01:03)

Continuity mistake: When Peter walks in the front door with his tax refund, he does not shut the door after approaching the family on the couch. Yet moments later, when Peter goes to sit down, the door has shut all by itself. (00:02:34)

Continuity mistake: At the IRS, when Peter walks into Stratford's office there is no light switch beside the doorway, but a 3-gang rocker light switch appears in following shots. (00:03:02)

Continuity mistake: When Peter sits down at the desk in the IRS office, there is a pen and what appears to be a business card on the corner of the desk next to where he’s sitting. After Miss Stratford says she farted, it cuts to a frontal angle of Peter, and suddenly the pen and business card have disappeared. (00:03:07)

Continuity mistake: After the IRS visit, Peter is digging a hole in his back yard for a pool. His kids are standing around at the edge of the hole watching. When it cuts to a close-up of Stewie, he's suddenly standing much closer to the hole. (00:04:18)
Other mistake: When Peter is digging a hole in his back yard, he uses his shovel to cut the power supply to all of Quahog. We see Joe watching TV and Quagmire messing with his sex doll. The power cuts off, and so then Joe's TV turns off and Quagmire's doll turns off. However, the lights in the rooms they are in stay on. The power being cut would have turned off the lights also. (00:05:32)

Continuity mistake: Peter enters Adam West's office, and the words "Adam West Mayor" are on the door. Adam West then tackles Peter to the ground and starts punching him in the next shot. During that moment, part of the letters are still seen, and the "OR" at the end of "MAYOR" is noticeably much smaller, and the "R" is a different shape. (00:06:45)

Continuity mistake: Just before Adam West opens the trapdoor under Peter, Peter moves further away from the desk between shots. (00:07:20)

Continuity mistake: While Peter is with Mayor West at Town Hall, when Peter winds up in the trap door, the doorknob on West's office door changes sides (so the door opens the opposite way) and the plant moves away from the corner. (00:07:41)

Revealing mistake: After Peter's encounter with Mayor West, we have the family standing next to the sidewalk in their front yard. Lois walks up holding Stewie, and now you can see there is a perspective error in the animation as next to Lois the mailbox looks comically small, barely big enough to put a stapler in. (00:08:11)

Continuity mistake: After Mayor West enjoys eating the taffy, when it cuts to the Griffin family standing on their lawn, the post-mounted mailbox is placed on the right side of the front door's walkway, but then it switches to the left side of the walkway. (00:08:27)
Continuity mistake: After Lois says that Stewie is the 'president of poopy' she and Tricia change position in relation to the couch. (00:09:30)

Continuity mistake: In the Ulysses S. "Griffin" cutaway gag, just when Griffin and Lee go to start chugging their beer, the soldier behind Griffin suddenly goes from brown hair to blonde. The soldiers also get closer together between shots. (00:10:04)

Continuity mistake: When Ulysses S. "Griffin" is chugging beer with Robert E. Lee, Ulysses wins. When he says "How's that Robert E. Lee," he puts the beer glass on his head. After Robert says, "Okay no more slaves, but we still don't have to read books," the glass is in Ulysses' hand. In the next shot it's on his head again. (00:10:05)

Chosen answer: It's a real song called "Elvira". Originally by Dallas Fraizer in '66, however, this version seems to be the Oak Ridge Boys cover version. However, the mega lesbians skip the verse and just sing the chorus after the opening line.
