There's Something About Paulie - S2-E16

Plot hole: If the groom didn't know who Lois was but had a picture of her, how could he have known that she was at the wedding so he could place the bomb in the blue sedan? If he had put the bomb in their car while they were still at home, they both would have been blown up. So this means he placed the bomb in the car at the wedding. He didn't know however that Lois was there until the end, where he caught up with them and told them not to start the car. Had he known earlier, he wouldn't have been arguing with his bride about the hit occurring during their honeymoon. (00:20:05 - 00:21:35)

He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17

Continuity mistake: Just before the pest control team leaves for the Griffins', we see the black team member holding a shotgun in his hand. After showing Logan in shot, it returns to the black member and he's now holding what looks to be an MP5 machine gun. In the following shot as he starts to slide down the pole, the gun is once again a shotgun. (00:04:00)

Other mistake: After the cutaway with the lemonade stand not taking credit cards, the episode cuts to an exterior shot of the hotel that the Griffins are now staying in. For a large hotel like that, the parking lot is way too small, showing only two cars in the front with only three visible spots, and one car parked in the street behind the building. Far too few spots and far too few cars considering how many room lights are turned on. (00:05:50)

Continuity mistake: At the pool when Chris doesn't want to take his shirt off, Peter climbs out of the pool to ask if he's hiding bruises. Behind Peter is a blonde woman in a purple one-piece swimsuit standing next to a man in a green speedo. Then, after Lois walks up and is talking to him, the close-up of her shows a bunch of people behind her, including the same blonde woman in a purple one-piece now standing next to a different man in blue swim trunks. Continuity mistake: As Peter is about to demonstrate what he'd do to embarrass Chris next to the diving board, there is a blond woman in a purple one-piece behind him as Meg walks up. He grabs his nipple/moob, and then in the close-up just before he licks it, suddenly the blonde woman vanishes, and the people behind him multiply. (00:06:55)

Revealing mistake: During the scene when the people at the pool think Chris is a car sitting on the diving board, just before Lois moves out of the shot before the scene changes, her lips disappear for a split second. It's really fast but still easy to notice even without pausing or slow motion. (00:07:20)

He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17

Continuity mistake: Lois hands Chris a plate of steamed vegetables at the dinner table, and he's holding a fork and knife. Just before she says, "Oh honey, it's good for you," Chris sets the fork down and has the knife lifted in the air. Then, in the next shot, suddenly the knife is on the table and he's using the fork on the food. Also, Lois goes from having her hand on his shoulder to her arms at her sides. (00:08:45)

He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17

Factual error: Peter starts helping Chris work out, and in the second part, Chris is trying to do pull-ups on a bar outside. In the first shot, there is an unlit campfire under his feet, and he even appears to be standing on it. In the next shot, Peter walks around him and Chris starts lifting. Peter says, "Feel the burn," and sprays fuel on the campfire spot. Suddenly, the fire is lit, without Peter having actually lit it. Just spraying lighter fluid on wood doesn't start a fire. Continuity mistake: After Peter gets liposuction, he walks into the kitchen all skinny and stands next to the fridge. There is a to-do list note on the freezer door of the fridge. The episode cuts to black (for commercial break), then comes back to Peter standing by the fridge and now the to-do list has vanished. (00:12:10)

Continuity mistake: In the Griffin home establishing shot just before Peter enters the house with new muscles, it shows the walkway to the front door and mailbox is clear of any obstacles. Yet a minute later, Lois pushes Stewie out the front door on a wagon, and he rolls down the walkway, crashing into some trashcans that have suddenly appeared behind the mailbox. Continuity mistake: After Peter becomes muscular, he goes to the store. In the first shot inside the store, we get a clear look at the register and checkout line, with the area surrounding the checkout. After Warren Fredericks approaches him to cut forward in line, another shot of the checkout now suddenly shows a snack shelf display next to the checkout line that was not there previously. Barely Legal - S5-E8

Connie: You know, Meg, there's no dogs allowed. So, you're going to have to leave. But Brian can stay.
Brian Griffin: You know, Connie, I think I have this theory about why you're such a bitch.
Connie: Excuse me?
Meg Griffin: Brian, let's just go.
Brian Griffin: No, no, no, no, no, no. Hang on a minute, Meg, hang on. You see, Connie, you're popular because you developed early and started giving handjobs when you were twelve. But now you can't stand to look in the mirror because all you see is a whore. So you pick on Meg to avoid the inevitable realization that once your body's used up by age nineteen, you're gonna be a worn out chalky skinned burlap sack that even your own stepdad won't want. How is that? Am I in the ballpark?
[Connie runs off crying].

Business Guy - S8-E9

Question: In the episode, Peter threatens to fire Lois, and she responds with "you wouldn't" and Peter then replies with "Oh really, does the name Lacey Chabert mean anything to you?" which in turn makes Lois go wide eyed and reply with "OK, I'll behave" and Peter then goes on to add "Yes you will" Can anyone explain this joke if it is a joke to comprehend?

Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
