Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the episode, we see Rita's bedroom door opens in. When Brian returns from the store, there's no door at all. When he leaves, the door opens out because he slams it shut.

Continuity mistake: When Stewie goes down the stairs in his bed, when he hits the front door, the door opens outwards outside. It always opens towards the inside. Plus in this episode, the door is brown when he rolls outside. Next scene and the other times in the show it's a red door.

Continuity mistake: When Brian and Rita go into the house, the front door opens inward, as usual. A couple minutes later, the door opens outward when Stewie's crib hits it.
Continuity mistake: Chris puts a video recorder in his room to try to capture the angry monkey in his closet to show Peter and Lois. He views the tape the next day and sees Peter and Quagmire enter his room. Quagmire punches Chris in the eye and bruises, it but when we see Chris the very next day, there's no black eye.
Character mistake: Lois says to Quagmire, if you have any questions we'll be right across the street. They live next door obviously, not across the street.
Factual error: You cannot get paternity test results back in one day. It takes 3 to 5 days or even weeks depending on the lab.
Continuity mistake: Peter is sitting on the couch talking on the radio. You see the phone sitting on a table beside the couch. But when Peter picks up the phone to call Quagmire, the phone is right beside him, without him ever moving it from the table.

Continuity mistake: When Brian and Quagmire are eating at the steak house, Quagmire is seen cutting and eating his steak. When he gets up from the table, the steak is whole.
Big Man on Hippocampus - S8-E10
Factual error: Peter loses the last round on Family Feud. They got 199 points but needed 200 points to win $5000. Since they lost, they should've got $5 for every point which is $995. But they got nothing.
Other mistake: A bank wouldn't lock someone in the vault all night. Employees make sure customers have left before locking up for the day.
Continuity mistake: When Brian stops at the Marriott, he orders a Jack on the rocks. As he is ordering it, there is a woman in the background with a martini, then when the camera cuts to behind the counter when Brian receives the Jack on the rocks, the same woman has red wine instead of a martini.
Other mistake: Joe salutes Quagmire's Dad. His legs are paralyzed, yet he uses them to push himself backward in his wheelchair.

Continuity mistake: When escaping Hoth, in the Falcon are Han, Leia and Chewbacca. But when the Falcon takes off, C-3PO appears out of nowhere. (00:18:55)

Continuity mistake: When Han lands the Millennium Falcon in the "handicapped" crater on the asteroid, the handicapped parking logo disappears from the ground. (00:22:45)

Continuity mistake: After Fett takes off with Han frozen in carbonite C-3PO cracks a joke about rescuing him in three years. When it cuts to Vader with Luke, Vader uses the Force to break a pipe off the wall, and in the next wide shot Vader's chest plate is backwards, note the buttons. (00:35:10)

Continuity mistake: After Fett flies off with frozen Han it soon cuts to Vader and Luke during their lightsaber duel. When Luke is being pulled through the broken window he's holding his lightsaber in his right hand, then it disappears from his outstretched hand in the wide shot, but in the next closeup his lightsaber is suddenly clipped to his belt at his left side. Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
