When it moves to a closer shot, a hyphen has appeared between "ass" and "kicking". Then, after the space where the commercial break would have been, the sign now says "$10.00" and there are no metal rings. Finally, in the next shot, the sign says "Fight the..." and has metal rings on top. (00:06:55)

Continuity mistake: When Lois is telling Peter to take some action in regards of the New Yorkers, we see Quagmire in his window with his face having the middle section of the window across it. When we see a close up of Quagmire, the middle section is below his face. (00:11:25)
Answer: Mort is Jewish, and Walt Disney was said to be antisemitic. So it would make sense in a Disney universe all the inhabitants would share his supposed beliefs.
