Continuity mistake: When Ethel walks in while Lucy's vacuuming, Ethel has the folded newspaper under her arm and there's only small print on the paper, but after Lucy offers Ethel a cup of coffee now the headline can be seen on the still folded paper under Ethel's arm. Then, when Lucy unfolds the paper we see both the front and back page filled with pictures and the headline, but that area of small print which was seen in the earlier shots does not exist on either side. Continuity mistake: When Lucy crawls into the New Neighbors' apartment she's startled by the stuffed bear head, and in the closeup of the bear head it's in front of a bare wall, but in the rest of the shots it's in front of furniture. Additionally, other things change as well between shots: the books under the bear, the hat, etc. (00:10:15)

Revealing mistake: While Poe leads the aerial assault on the oscillator, in the closeups of Poe and other X-wing fighter pilots, note the cockpit windows at the pilots' left and right have identical marks and scratches in their individual X-wings. It's particularly noticeable when one closeup follows another.

Continuity mistake: While Fred and Barney are fighting, when Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm are devising a plan together in baby-talk, the black strap is over Bamm-Bamm's left shoulder, but when Bamm-Bamm walks past Fred and Barney the strap is over Bamm-Bamm's right shoulder. (00:22:55)

Continuity mistake: While Fred and Barney are being chased by the police, in the closeup of the stop/go signal we see two ropes beside the monkey's hand - one controlling "stop" and one for "go", but in the wideshot there's only one rope hanging from the post, apparently controlling both "stop" and "go" signals. Continuity mistake: Wilma opens the bedroom door to find Fred covered in flour, but in the next shot the bedroom door has vanished while Fred stands in the doorway.

Deliberate mistake: In episode "Redecorating" Lucy wins new furniture, then in the next episode "Ricky Loses His Voice" the new furniture's delivered to the apartment, and the new couch has two normal and identical seat cushions. Starting in the next episode "Lucy is Enceinte" until the episode "Lucy Wants New Furniture", in some scenes the couch has the identical short cushions, however, in other scenes one of its seat cushions (depending on the episode, it's either left or right) is much higher than the other. For example, in "Lucy Hires a Maid" the higher seat cushion's on left side while Lucy waits for her lunch, then after Ethel urges Lucy to fire the maid the short cushion's on the left. The uneven cushions are usually seen in scenes with either Desi or another male actor, who sit on the side of the couch which has the higher seat cushion. There are even scenes where both of the seat cushions are the higher ones, such as in "Lucy's Last Birthday."

Revealing mistake: When Ricky startles Lucy in the kitchen just as she's getting the salt, she climbs up through the kitchen/living room window, and in the shot from the living room when she and Ricky step down onto the chair, we can see the four long metal brackets which bolt the chair to the floor for safety. Other mistake: While Lucy and Ethel are auditioning their act for Ricky at the club, just as Lucy spins around watch her hands as she very quickly pulls on the string at her waist, which causes her pantaloons to loosen and fall to the floor. (00:12:05)

Continuity mistake: While Ricky's telling the bedtime story in Spanish to Little Ricky (worth watching just for this darling scene), in the closeups of the baby in the crib, the pillow bumper has an embroidered heart with stick figures, which flips in reverse. Actually, the last closeup of Little Ricky lying down is the normal shot, but all the closeups of the baby sitting up are the flipped shots. (This pillow bumper has stick figures of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, and can be seen in previous episodes). (00:06:40)

Continuity mistake: When Peter comes down to answer the phone, he's wearing a blue shirt. When he hangs up the phone, his shirt color changes to a light red/pink color. Then back to blue again.

Ricky's Old Girlfriend - S3-E11

Continuity mistake: When Fred tells Ricky there's an article in the newspaper about Carlota Romero, there's a closeup of the newspaper's back page with Carlota's photo, but later when Lucy takes the newspaper (the same NY Gazette issue) from Ethel, before she turns it over we can see that the back page photo and layout are different. Never Do Business With Friends - S2-E32

Continuity mistake: In Lucy and Ricky's apartment there are six shutters between the kitchen and living room, a set of three open to the left and three open to the right, but after the washing machine falls off the porch, when Mrs. Trumble's nephew thinks they're all crazy he runs through the back door and we see a set of four shutters on one side. Also note the round knobs are at the bottom corners, when they should be higher up at the center. (The prop shutters that we see through the doorway during the porch's "exterior" shots are identical to the seven shutters that were in apartment 4A, before the Ricardos moved downstairs). Revealing mistake: At the end of the episode, when Ricky and Lucy walk into the bedroom to see the new wallpaper, look behind them when the bedroom door opens and you'll catch a glimpse of William Frawley - waiting for his cue - hiding behind a wall in the background before he ducks back out of sight.

Bowling Ballet - S3-E4

Other mistake: At the start of the episode we're shown a preview of the episode's plot: while Fred stretches his leg on the ballet bar his leg gets stuck and when the ballet teacher pushes his leg down, the part of the ballet bar which Fred is leaning on is gone. What's odd is that during this scene within the episode the ballet bar is perfectly intact. (00:00:25 - 00:14:40)

Continuity mistake: After Fred and Barney leave for the hospital without Wilma they realise the mistake and head back to the house, and when it cuts to Wilma in the bedroom Dino jumps atop the blue blanket on the bed, but in the next shot the blue blanket is gone, and then it reappears for Dino to hide under.
