Deliberate mistake: In episode "Redecorating" Lucy wins new furniture, then in the next episode "Ricky Loses His Voice" the new furniture's delivered to the apartment, and the new couch has two normal and identical seat cushions. Starting in the next episode "Lucy is Enceinte" until the episode "Lucy Wants New Furniture", in some scenes the couch has the identical short cushions, however, in other scenes one of its seat cushions (depending on the episode, it's either left or right) is much higher than the other. For example, in "Lucy Hires a Maid" the higher seat cushion's on left side while Lucy waits for her lunch, then after Ethel urges Lucy to fire the maid the short cushion's on the left. The uneven cushions are usually seen in scenes with either Desi or another male actor, who sit on the side of the couch which has the higher seat cushion. There are even scenes where both of the seat cushions are the higher ones, such as in "Lucy's Last Birthday."

Revealing mistake: When Ricky startles Lucy in the kitchen just as she's getting the salt, she climbs up through the kitchen/living room window, and in the shot from the living room when she and Ricky step down onto the chair, we can see the four long metal brackets which bolt the chair to the floor for safety. Other mistake: While Lucy and Ethel are auditioning their act for Ricky at the club, just as Lucy spins around watch her hands as she very quickly pulls on the string at her waist, which causes her pantaloons to loosen and fall to the floor. (00:12:05)

Continuity mistake: While Ricky's telling the bedtime story in Spanish to Little Ricky (worth watching just for this scene), in the closeups of the baby in the crib, the pillow bumper has an embroidered heart with stick figures, which flips in reverse. Actually, the last closeup of Little Ricky lying down is the normal shot, but all the closeups of the baby sitting up are the flipped shots. (This pillow bumper has stick figures of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, and can be seen in previous episodes). (00:06:40)

Continuity mistake: When Peter comes down to answer the phone, he's wearing a blue shirt. When he hangs up the phone, his shirt color changes to a light red/pink color. Then back to blue again.

Ricky's Old Girlfriend - S3-E11

Continuity mistake: When Fred tells Ricky there's an article in the newspaper about Carlota Romero, there's a closeup of the newspaper's back page with Carlota's photo, but later when Lucy takes the newspaper (the same NY Gazette issue) from Ethel, before she turns it over we can see that the back page photo and layout are different. Never Do Business With Friends - S2-E32

Continuity mistake: In Lucy and Ricky's apartment there are six shutters between the kitchen and living room, a set of three open to the left and three open to the right, but after the washing machine falls off the porch, when Mrs. Trumble's nephew thinks they're all crazy he runs through the back door and we see a set of four shutters on one side. Also note the round knobs are at the bottom corners, when they should be higher up at the center. (The prop shutters that we see through the doorway during the porch's "exterior" shots are identical to the seven shutters that were in apartment 4A, before the Ricardos moved downstairs). Revealing mistake: At the end of the episode, when Ricky and Lucy walk into the bedroom to see the new wallpaper, look behind them when the bedroom door opens and you'll catch a glimpse of William Frawley - waiting for his cue - hiding behind a wall in the background before he ducks back out of sight.

Bowling Ballet - S3-E4

Other mistake: At the start of the episode we're shown a preview of the episode's plot: while Fred stretches his leg on the ballet bar his leg gets stuck and when the ballet teacher pushes his leg down, the part of the ballet bar which Fred is leaning on is gone. What's odd is that during this scene within the episode the ballet bar is perfectly intact. (00:00:25 - 00:14:40)

Continuity mistake: After Fred and Barney leave for the hospital without Wilma they realise the mistake and head back to the house, and when it cuts to Wilma in the bedroom Dino jumps atop the blue blanket on the bed, but in the next shot the blue blanket is gone, and then it reappears for Dino to hide under. Continuity mistake: After Lucy tells Mr. Merriweather that he's invited to the seance, when it cuts to Lucy unfolding the card table legs, note the couch behind her with one normal seat cushion on the left, but in the next wideshot there's an additional shorter cushion under the normal cushion. The small towel also repositions itself neatly on the couch. (00:11:55)

Continuity mistake: When Portnow meets with Bishop at the church, in the first closeup of Bishop's crossword puzzle the word "MUD" is the second word across at the top, and at the center of the puzzle the 4-letter word "GEAR" is written in the 5-letter answer - with the fist space left empty. However, in the next closeup of the puzzle, now the word "ETA" is the second word at the top and "MUD" is the third, and the word "GEARS" has the "S" added, with the letter "G" started properly in the first space of the answer. Continuity mistake: Aunt Clara crashes into the pagoda and is helped up by Darrin and Samantha. They head inside and you can see Aunt Clara's purse sitting in the pagoda to the bottom left. But when all three enter the house, Aunt Clara is now carrying her purse. (01:14:00 - 01:20:00)

Daddy's Little Beauty - S4-E12

Continuity mistake: When Fred is trying to work out what kind of talent Pebbles has, she has her bathing suit on. When Pebbles is seen crawling onto the stage when it's her turn, she has her regular clothes on, and when Pebbles is on the stage with Dino, she has her bathing suit on again.

Little Bamm-Bamm - S4-E3

Continuity mistake: When Barney, Betty, Wilma, Bamm-Bamm and Pebbles are on the bridge at the end of the episode, Bamm-Bamm's white hair turns red like Pebbles', then changes back to white when they all start laughing.

The Old Engine - S3-E2

Continuity mistake: When Roy and Johnny are on the roof with Harriet, we can see the shadow being cast by the utility pole on the street down below, and when the police car shows up moments later that shadow has changed significantly. (00:12:40)
