Replacements - S1-E4

Corrected entry: In one scene, the barn-like structure ‘petit restaurant' has the words 'hotel' on the left and 'cafe' on the right, but the building gets a grenade to the upper floor to clear the two snipers pinning down Easy Company. After the retreat, the Germans march past and the Hotel/Cafe is fully restored and the window is back in place.

Correction: We see 3 sides of the Petit building. One side of Petit has 4 dormer windows directly over the restaurant's outdoor dining area [00:32:20 and 00:36:48]. Two sides of Petit display words "Petit Restaurant, Hotel, Cafe, Schafrath" and it's one of these sides that faces the church (note its steeple). Easy Company retreat in the direction from where they came (Eindhoven). It cuts to German forces in Nuenen, and in this shot the church is behind the Petit building, with only the church steeple visible. The Petit's side that faces the church is the side with the huge bazooka hole. Here we see the church behind the Petit, and the Petit's 4 dormer windows, so this is in fact the opposite side of the Petit building - with its full display name and an additional sign "Schafrath" below, intact on this side [00:42:20].

Demons - S9-E24

Corrected entry: When Blake is telling Spencer to keep his eyes on her after being shot she calls him Ethan twice. (00:02:29)

Correction: This is very poignant and deliberate moments in the dialogue. Blake is feeling distraught since Reid pushed Blake out of the way and took the bullet instead of her. Blake calls Reid by her dead son's name, "Ethan," when she tries to keep him alert and shouts, "Ethan, Ethan!" Later in the episode, when Blake takes Reid back to his apartment, she explains that watching Reid when he was hurt touched a nerve. Reid then asks Blake, "Who's Ethan?" and Blake tells Reid all about her son "Ethan" who died when he was 9 years old. Blake then tells Reid that "Ethan" would have been a lot like him. Note, on the jet return flight, Blake texted Hotch her resignation from the BAU, and at the very end she leaves her badge with Reid.

Ricky Sells the Car - S5-E4

Corrected entry: The Mertz' check out of the hotel and are in the garage on a motorcycle. Later they are back in their hotel room with Fred napping in a chair with a hurt shoulder.

Correction: Ethel and Fred checked out of room 317, intending to leave. Later, after their motorcycle crashed, Ethel and Fred checked back in and were given room 372 (time codes 00:09:05 and 00:12:15), so Fred (with his hurt shoulder) is napping in the chair in his and Ethel's new room. There's no continuity mistake.

Enough (2002)

Corrected entry: When Slim and Mitch embrace after she finds out he is cheating, she is wearing a purple dress/robe, but for some weird reason after the fade out, they are still embracing and it has changed to a white tank top. (00:18:14)

Movielover1996

Correction: It's not for some weird reason. It follows the fade out with the title "more than enough" and it's meant to creatively signify the passage of time between the two embraces. The first embrace is after Mitch tells Slim that everything is going to be OK, even though he cheated on her, and she believes it. Then a notable amount of time has passed, both of them are dressed entirely differently, and with this turn of the second embrace Slim tells Mitch that she can smell Darcelle's perfume. So she's now aware of all his lies.

Super Grover

You are correct. Slim finds out about Darcelle. She smells the perfume on a different day - meaning that Mitch is still having affairs. She says "You're not going to talk your way out of it this time." So time has passed since she first caught Darcelle's page to Mitch.

Batman (1966)

Correction: Dick isn't amazingly precognizant. He's wearing swim trunks while using the rag to prep his own surfboard. Barbara Gordon was already at the beach with Skip, and Dick is heading to the beach with his surfboard as well (00:04:34).

First Blood (1982)

Corrected entry: In the initial scene with Col. Trautman, we see the Sheriff wearing a lightweight jacket. Then, miraculously he's wearing a sheepskin coat.

Correction: Teasle has his wounds cleaned while wearing his sheepskin coat over the undershirt (he removed his dirty uniform shirt/jacket). When the deputy enters with the maps Teasle has put on a clean uniform shirt while offscreen, then puts on his Sheriff's uniform jacket, which he wears when Trautman says Rambo was the best. It cuts to Rambo killing a wild boar and carrying the carcass to his hideout. Then Teasle wears the sheepskin coat over his uniform jacket, which he put on while offscreen.

Shock Waves - S11-E1

Corrected entry: When Sarah enters the lab with the bagged microchip, she tells Greg and the other CSI that she got it from Doc Robbins, when it was Super Dave who'd found it during autopsy.

pgsgrad16

Correction: Sarah is standing beside Dr. Robbins when he finds the SIM card within what's left of Officer Clark's chest cavity, during autopsy (timecode 00:19:35). Dave wasn't even near Clark, he was with the corpses of Officers Morales and Hooper.

Mama's Family (1983)

Show generally

Corrected entry: It is well known that Vint had two kids in the opening of Mama's Family, but later on, Vint and Naomi try to conceive and are having trouble. They all assume that it is Vint, but he already has two kids and this was never mentioned during the time they were trying.

Correction: Fertility can change over a person's lifetime. Just because Vint has had two kids in the past doesn't mean he can't have trouble fathering a new one now.

But when Naomi gets pregnant, Vint also says he's excited to finally be a father. But he already has two kids.

In the basement, when Naomi tells Vint (who has two older teenagers) that she's "already pregnant," Vint does not say that he's excited to finally be a father. Vint's actual reply is, "You mean I'm gonna be a daddy, again?" Note that Vint says, "again" after a beat.

The Car - S2-E24

Corrected entry: Throughout most of the episode, The Car is a standard black with chrome trimming. But at the end it's suddenly beige when Johnboy and the kids are polishing it for their first ride.

pgsgrad16

Correction: At the end it's not "suddenly beige." Mid-episode Mary Ellen mentions a family project to, "Design you a new-looking car" and Erin adds, "We can paint it." Soon John-Boy says, "I'd like to paint it a nice dignified shade of tan." In the penultimate scene John-Boy drives Hyder and Martha Rudge back home. Time passes offscreen. It cuts to the final scene with Mary Ellen and Erin placing their new cut/sewn seat covers in the newly painted tan car, and nobody is "polishing it for their first ride."

Corrected entry: When Mary is helping the children with spelling she begins to spell Frankenstein and spells it wrong, with an I after the K, instead of an E.

Correction: Pete does not ask about the spelling of Frankenstein. Pete asks how to spell "frankincense" for his Christmas play, which Mary begins to spell correctly (01:27:35 and 01:27:55) before it cuts to Zuzu.

Forrest Gump (1994)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Robin Wright is supposed to be playing the guitar and singing nude in the club, you can see the nude-coloured thong she is wearing when they show her from the back.

Correction: The thong is so noticeable that it is apparent that it's presence is a deliberate one. Two explanations within the storyline: One, it's a topless bar not a totally-nude bar and she chose to wear a thong that was flesh/skin colored. Or two, it is a totally-nude bar and perhaps she planned to strip after the song, and didn't get a chance to get that far, due to the unruly crowd and Forrest's interruption.

But what year was it supposed to have been? Thongs weren't invented until 1974.

This scene takes place around 1967 and Jenny is wearing a G-string with a fur front. G-strings had been in use for many years prior to 1967.

Super Grover

Correction: This is a plot point of the storyline, not any kind of a mistake. At the start of this episode, we hear Bo and Luke talking while Rosco is chasing them, and Bo says, "How does he know it's us if it ain't even our car." It's mentioned a few times during this episode, including by narrator, Waylon Jennings. Bo and Luke are driving a "1975 blue Plymouth Fury" as noted by its owner, Cooter Davenport, who was running the moonshine for Boss Hogg.

Battle Lines - S22-E2

Corrected entry: Detectives Cosgrove and Shaw head to the hospital to interview a doctor which they do in a hallway. At one point the door behind the doctor is a single door then it changes to two doors and then finally when the detectives leave there is no door at all.

bnemirow

Correction: Dr. Mercer and the detectives stand at a T-intersection of 2 halls (Cosgrove and Shaw at the top arm of the T). In 2 shots facing Mercer head-on, a single door is at the end of the hall directly behind her. In a shot facing Mercer's right side there are double-doors beside her, to her left. The last shot of Mercer is head-on with the single door at the end of the hall. When the detectives leave in the shot from a new angle, we cannot see the hallway (at the right) where Mercer stood, only the opening to the hall (00:18:25).

Batter Up - S1-E8

Corrected entry: When Terrence walks into the bar Gabriel stops him, looks at the front of his shirt, and calls him Terrence. If you look at the front of Terrence's shirt you can plainly see just his last name not his first.

Meema9091

Correction: Yes, Terrence's uniform shirt has a patch with his surname "Hynes" at the right side of his shirt. Rewatch, and you'll also see Terrence Hynes has a photo ID tag with his name that is clipped to the pocket at the left side of his uniform shirt, under the Forensics patch. That is how Sgt. Gabriel knew his name is Terrence. Note, Terrence's ID tag is also visible later in this episode, as well as following episodes he's in.

Correction: As soon as it cuts from the show's intro to the first shot in the kitchen, we see Fran buckling her old zebra-striped belt around her waist. When Niles picks up the artificial lemon tree we see Fran touching her belt, and as the camera faces Niles when he exits the kitchen Fran unbuckles her belt offscreen. In the next shot Fran's zebra-striped belt is in her hand, and she places it back in the box of her old stuff from her Ma's house. No continuity issue. Starting time code 00:03:35.

Corrected entry: The crash lady is two different people. After the car crashes and John tries to pull her out, she's an older looking blondish woman. But after John pulls her free, in the next shots, she is a much younger brunette gal with large blood smudges on her face.

Correction: The actress is Pamelyn Ferdin, and it's her inside the car in the interior shots, as well as the exterior shots while Jon holds her on the ground. Depending on how the light hits her, her dirty blonde hair can look more blonde or brown. Time code starting at 00:25:20.

The Waltons (1972)

Correction: While the kids are entertaining themselves with hand shadow puppets, Esther pulls John, not John-Boy, aside and asks, "Isn't Zeb with you?" In fact, twice she says "Zeb" to John, about his own father. And later while Zeb is sitting on Ike's pool table, Zeb says, "Esther" when he's talking to John-Boy. Zeb does this again with John-Boy when he learns Esther's going to the dance. This type of thing occurs throughout the series; it's normal.

Super Grover

Correction: That's not a mistake, character or otherwise. She simply used her husband's name. She even says Zeb several times through the episode. My own Grandparents and parents have switched between using their spouses' names or saying "your ___" depending on the situation.
