The Sopranos (1999)

Proshai, Livushka - S3-E2

Corrected entry: At the gravesite of Livia Soprano, the cast is dressed in black, but there is a man in a light green shirt to the side of the casket in front of the cast who is out of place. (00:39:16)

Snag.1

Correction: This man is cemetery staff, lowering the casket into the grave. Watch as this scene continues, right after Carmela says, "He won't discuss it, he clams up," we can see this man at the bottom right corner of the screen, turning the lever for the casket lowering device as it descends into the grave (00:39:30).

I Love Lucy (1951)

Correction: There's nothing sudden about it. The rearranging of furniture between episodes occurs often, and would only be a problem if it happens within a scene. From the very start of this episode, the card table is already at the center of the living room, with the couch pushed back toward the wall, and the desk is behind the couch (holding telephone, etc), up against the wall where the piano usually is in other episodes. Ethel asks Ricky about the sheet music on the piano, and he explains he's been working on a musical number for the show at the Tropicana. So, for this episode's ongoing musical storyline, the positions of the piano and desk have been switched. Nothing whatsoever makes it a revealing mistake. This occurs again a few episodes later in Breaking the Lease.

I Love Lucy (1951)

Lucy Hates to Leave - S6-E15

Continuity mistake: When Lucy buys back her coffee table, Ethel and Fred move it to the kitchen in the Mertz's apartment. The door to the Mertz's kitchen (with its doorknob on the right) in this episode opens the opposite way, inward towards the inside of the kitchen, and not outward in the direction of the living room, as seen in all previous and following episodes, including the very next episode. (00:17:55)

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: The kitchen is a double hinged "saloon style" door. The door opens both ways, just like in a restaurant and most kitchens of the era. This is evident in many episodes.

You're confused. Rewatch the episode, please. Your correction is describing the Ricardo apartment; it's Ricky and Lucy who have the kitchen with that swinging door, which you describe as "double hinged saloon style" that opens both ways. This mistake is actually referring to the Mertz's apartment, and their door leading to their own kitchen is a standard door with a doorknob and it always opens only one way - outward into the living room. It's only in this specific episode the Mertz's kitchen door is attached to the door jamb differently, and it opens inward into the kitchen. The mistake is absolutely valid. The correction should be removed.

Corrected entry: When they are racing down the interstate to the impound lot, the red Mustang tries to go between the semi-trucks. When the trucks swerve to close the gap at the back tires, it's not the Mustang, it's a white boat on a trailer.

Correction: After Roman says, "Why must I chase the cat," three shots later there's a wide shot facing the 3-lane highway ahead of Roman, as he changes lanes (00:31:00). The pickup towing the trailered boat is in the left lane, the semi with red cab is in the center lane, and the yellow semi is in the right lane. When the driver of the red Mustang drives toward the semi-trucks, we still see the trailered boat in the left lane (left side of the screen), with the red cab semi-truck swerving from the center lane into the left lane (00:31:17). After a shot of both semi truckers (00:31:24), at the start of the next shot we see the red Mustang in the background (00:31:25), it's from the POV of the trailered boat in its left lane (right side of the screen), with the red cab semi still crossing over the lines from its center lane into the trailered boat's left lane. Then it cuts to an overhead shot as the red Mustang enters between the 2 semi-trucks (00:31:27), in the center and right lanes. In following pileup shots, we see the pickup and its trailered boat on the grass median strip (00:31:50).

Corrected entry: When a young Vito is sitting on the steps with his family during the parade there is one child missing. We know Michael is sitting on Vito's lap. Connie is on Carmella's lap. So either Fredo or Sonny is missing in this scene. (02:05:25)

adb0406

Correction: That's Fredo on Carmela's lap. I can see why he would be mistaken for a girl, though. Michael is the baby on Vito's lap, and we know Connie is younger than Michael...therefore, she wasn't born yet. So all three boys are accounted for.

Michael is the youngest child of their 4 children. I was wondering where the fourth child is, but looked it up, and Michael is the youngest of the family.

I don't know where you looked it up, but that info is wrong. The youngest is Connie (Constanzia) Corleone, and she's Carmela and Vito's only daughter. After Fanucci is shot during the Feast of San Gennaro scene, Vito returns to his family and when he picks up the infant, he whispers to him in Sicilian, "Michael, your father loves you very much" (02:05:40). At this point, Connie hasn't been born yet. Later in the film, when Vito and Carmela visit the town of Corleone in Sicily, now we see all 4 children are with them. Carmella holds infant Connie, and Vito holds little Michael (02:44:00).

Corrected entry: When Ron's dad enters the house, the top of his pointed hat clips right through the bottom of the window frame.

Correction: The hat's pointed tip does not clip right through the window frame. Arthur's hat has soft yet firm material, and it's bendable, so the tip bends backward as it hits the window frame, then it springs right back up. Perhaps rewatch this scene and play it in slow motion. Here's a link to a scene clip, with the relevant shot at 00:01:54 - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUl4amon00E.

Paternity - S9-E9

Corrected entry: An ambulance, when Kathy Stabler gives birth to the baby, Olivia says the baby's a girl. In the hospital, when Elliot gets to Kathy's table's room, she tells him the baby's a boy.

Correction: Olivia never says the baby's a girl. Rewatch, please. In the ambulance, when Kathy is in the midst of the last few pushes to get the baby out, Olivia is watching the delivery over Kathy's shoulder, being supportive. With Kathy's last push, Olivia repeats, "Good girl, good girl," which is directed at Kathy to encourage her pushing during her delivery (timecode 00:39:20). Then, when the baby is out, Olivia excitedly exclaims, "It's a boy!"

The Weaker Sex - S1-E8

Corrected entry: Professor Arturo is recruited to be the Mayor of San Francisco. When you see the dinner scene, they are drinking beer and munching on chicken wings. He comes back to his compatriots and states he had a dinner with champagne, caviar, veal cordon bleu, and crepe suzettes. What? It does nothing to contribute to the plot. (00:11:35 - 00:13:10)

toroscan

Correction: It has to do with bolstering his own ego (usually overblown). So, Arturo fibbed and he played it up by describing his own idea of an expensive dinner (imo, pitchers of beer and hot wings sound better), which he was treated to by the other men, in order to woo him into the running.

I can see that. Thanks.

Peppa Pig (2004)

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: This doesn't occur between shots, and the 2 screenshots are not consecutive changes. The "few seconds later" is an 8-second close-up of George as he begins to sneeze, and the front door is not visible. Within those 8 seconds off-screen, there's time for the door to be closed and to set aside the two umbrellas.

Splash (1984)

Corrected entry: When Madison runs from the ice-skating she is barefoot. In the next shots she magically has managed to bring her shoes and has put them on.

Correction: Right before Madison rushes away from the ice rink (01:10:10), she grabs her ballerina flats, and when she runs away from Allen, she's barefoot while holding the flats in her left hand. Then, the skate rental guy tackles Allen. When it cuts to Madison in the shot facing her back, she's still running barefoot while holding the flats in her right hand.

Maleficent (2014)

Corrected entry: When the fairies are cooking and Aurora says she is moving out, the amount of blue flour on Knotgrass's face changes between shots.

ozwal13

Correction: That's because it's fading away, and we see this happening, and Aurora even notices it.

Correction: Adding to the other correction: This cannot be considered a continuity mistake, because the fading away of the blue on her face never "changes between shots" as if it's a continuity issue. The fading away of the blue caused by Flittle deliberately occurs (via CGI) within a single shot (01:02:58).

Game of Thrones (2011)

Correction: When watching the actual episode, in the close-up, we see Robb (not Jon) place his hand at the front of Bran's shoulder, and then we also see that Bran turns his body so that Robb's hand already moves before this close-up ends. It then dissolves into the wide shot, and at the very start of this wide shot, Robb's hand is in the same shoulder area, and then Robb stretches his arm across to the center of Bran's back as they begin to walk. The two provided screenshots (and caption "hand changes position") are not an accurate representation of the episode's onscreen continuity.

Road House (1989)

Corrected entry: Swayze gives away his Benz to an African American man, but the hands of the person starting the car seem to belong to a Caucasian man. (00:06:05 - 00:07:10)

Correction: Swayze wears a white jacket and white pants (00:08:20) as he gives the keys of his old junker car (not covered with tarp) to the black man who wears a blue denim jacket and jeans, and Swayze walks into the parking garage (00:08:35). It then cuts to Swayze (white jacket and white pants) as he removes the tarp over his Mercedes-Benz, parked inside the parking garage. Next close-ups show Swayze's hand turning the ignition key to start his Mercedes-Benz, revs engine, and puts in cassette tape.

The Blacklist (2013)

Arioch Cain (No. 50) - S3-E5

Corrected entry: After Reddington warns Liz of the Wendigo, he leaves, and the camera pans out. We see the entire set: Liz on the couch, the stage with the entire set, the theater seating, camera ladders, the lighting, etc. (00:04:40)

Correction: This is a theatre used for plays, and it's Red's temporary safehouse for Liz. In the previous episode, The Djinn (No. 43), Red talks about this theatre owned by Gerta. Red says, "Her theatre is ours as long as we need it." So, Red and Liz are using it to hide out.

Corrected entry: During Newt's confrontation with Grindelwald's followers, his right hand sustains an injury and is dressed with a bandage. Upon Newt and Theseus' arrival at the Hogsmeade pub, it changes to his left hand, then when talking to Dumbledore it's his right again.

Correction: Newt's right hand sustains the injury while trying to protect the Qilin in the jungle. When Newt and Theseus are entering Hog's Head Inn, the camera is facing the mirror. Aberforth is wiping the mirror's surface, and we are seeing the reflection, so the image is reversed. Newt's bandaged injured right hand remains consistent. Please rewatch (00:14:50).

Godzilla (1998)

Corrected entry: When the taxi drives off from Godzilla's mouth and drives away through the bridge, you can see a woman standing in the background, but obviously nobody should be there. (02:02:00)

Correction: That is not a woman standing in the background. It's a large drop cloth draped over the bridge deck's barrier, with its bottom bit lying rumpled on the ground. Its vertical center fold may be giving you the illusion of two very long, unusual legs.

Roseanne (1988)

Draft Day (2014)

Corrected entry: A microphone is in the shot at the beginning of the movie when Sonny is in the kitchen after getting dressed. The TV is on with Ray Jennings' stats shown. A black microphone is in frame at the top left side of the screen above the kitchen island. (00:06:10)

Correction: That isn't a black microphone. It's a black clock hanging on the wall beside the TV. The entire clock is visible 40 seconds later when Ali walks down the stairs and joins Sonny in the kitchen. Please rewatch the scene.

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, we are shown Lily's third birthday. In the voiceover, Carrie says that Rose turned 3. Rose is only about 6 months old, and it's Lily turning 3.

Correction: Early in "Sex and the City: The Movie" (the first film), while the ladies are having brunch, Charlotte notes that 3-year-old Lily is repeating everything. Then, at the end, Rose is born and Carrie marries Big. Near the start of this film (2 years later, after the first film), when Charlotte joins her friends for lunch, she has her daughters with her. And 2-year-old toddler Rose, being in her "terrible twos," is noted. At the very end of this film, Carrie's voiceover states, "Time moved us on, and in the future." Then, as she continues, we see that Rose turns 3 and that Carrie and Big's marriage grew out of its own terrible twos.

Corrected entry: When the assassination attempt fails, Jones rushes to the other room without taking his whip. Later, he has it on his belt in the temple scene.

Correction: Indiana uses his whip to foil the assassin, then tells Shorty to "turn off the switch" to stop the fan (00:52:00), and as Indy rushes out to Willie's room, the assassin falls to the floor with Indy's whip. When Indiana is in Willie's room and locates the hidden entrance to the underground chambers, Indy tells Shorty, "Go get our stuff," so Shorty rushes back to Indy's room (00:53:35). While Shorty is off-screen, he retrieves the whip and their other stuff. Then, it cuts to Indy entering the underground chamber with his jacket, satchel, hat, and whip (00:53:45).
