College - S1-E5

Corrected entry: During their college trip, Tony and Meadow are using a grey sedan, but later in the episode, they arrive back at home in Tony's usual burgundy Chevy Suburban. I know Tony killed the rat during the trip, but it doesn't seem like he wants to get rid of the car because of that, in fact they can be seen driving in the sedan right after the murder and besides, Meadow wouldn't have just accepted this change of cars without asking. (00:07:36 - 00:53:00)

Correction: This episode takes place in Maine, Tony and Meadow even discuss their flight. The grey sedan is obviously a rental.

The sedan did have Maine Plates.

Correction: In this scene, she is day dreaming so its not really happening. She is day dreaming about escaping but because the car was in park, in reality, its telling her she cant leave.

I Dream of Jeannie Cusamano - S1-E13

Corrected entry: In the scene where the FBI plays the tape to Tony and reveals the conspiracy between his mother and Junior, it is stated that the bugs were placed at Green Grove. However, the second conversation played in the sequence actually took place outside a movie theater the episode prior, which would not have been recorded as part of the Green Grove surveillance. The conversation involves Livia telling Junior that Tony reminded her of her cousin Kiki after she had her lobotomy.

shelbourne

Correction: Some of the recording came from Green Grove. Some came from surveillance while Junior and Livia were in line for the theatre. The FBI didn't have to present all the facts and details and truth to Tony. That is only important in court.

Proshai, Livushka - S3-E2

Corrected entry: When Tony is talking to Noah, Tony asks, "What's your background, Noah?" Noah then starts his answer with "Noah...I'm from Los Angeles..." Noah repeating his first name at the beginning of his line does not make sense, and is likely a freudian slip resulting from Noah knowing Tony's lines, and waiting for his cue. (00:04:30)

Correction: Tony calls him "Noel" (which he's scripted to do to show either he wasn't paying attention to the guy's name or doesn't care to remember it). Noah then begins his sentence by correcting Tony.

Kaisha - S6-E12

Corrected entry: Chris and Julianna are having sex and then 10 minutes later they "meet" for the first time outside an AA meeting. They talked as they had never met before. Timeline completely screwed up.

Mprete

Correction: That scene is a flashback, not a mistake.

Marco Polo - S5-E8

Corrected entry: At the party, Carmella tells Tony B. to film the food tables before they get pillaged. She calls him Stevie, his real name.

Correction: She uses his initials. She said "Tony B, make sure you shoot the food table."

Show generally

Corrected entry: The whole Mafia side of the family that Tony frequents say how they smoke only the finest Cuban Cigars, quite frequently Monte Cristo's. Cuban cigars don't produce white ash like it does on the show. Cuban cigars' ash is a dark brown color.

Correction: Factually incorrect. I have smoked Cuban cigars with white ash including Monte Cristo.

Long Term Parking - S5-E12

Corrected entry: When Adrianna is driving, before she meets Silvio it shows her in the driver seat, the car moving. Then it goes to a shot of her luggage. In that shot you can see the car's shifter is in park, not in drive. (00:44:30)

jrd7033

Correction: She's daydreaming this. Not really driving on the interstate.

The Legend of Tennessee Moltisanti - S1-E8

Corrected entry: Chris is in a bakery and he is overlooked for a guy that walks in. The characters name is Gino, but later in the series the same actor shows back up as Vito Spatafore. They get into an altercation but if Vito was a wiseguy then Chris would have recognized him.

Correction: This is true, however it's really meant to be two characters rather than a mistake. He played the small part but was then later cast as Vito. They thought it would be OK because his original part was so small.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Despite the fact that the Soprano family is supposed to be well-known in New Jersey (so much so that, when Janice gets into the fight at Sophia's soccer game, the newscasters mention that she is the "reputed mob boss's sister"), nobody around them seems to be aware of who they are. Katherine Romano doesn't know Uncle Junior is under House Arrest (this kind of stuff makes the news all the time). And, given that Dr. Kupfurburg lives in New Jersey, is Dr. Melfi's shrink, and constantly talks about how concerned he is about her treating Tony, how is it possible that he didn't know who Tony was when he ran into him in the parking garage?

Correction: Just becaue people hear names/events on the news and see some pictures does not mean that they will definitely recognize someone they have seen just a few times on the news. I am from Long Island and I can say I would never be able to spot John Gotti or his sons even though there was a reality TV program about them.

Proshai, Livushka - S3-E2

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the episode, when everybody is gathered at the Sopranos house, Tony opens a door which has a mirror on it. Watch closely as he is opening it, you can see Pussy in the reflection even though he was killed in Season 2.

Correction: This is not a mistake, but a plot point. Tony feels some remorse about having to kill Pussy, so he sees him in the mirror. He is not really there.

wizard_of_gore

Correction: Exactly. He feels bad for killing him. He says you were like a brother to me. To all of us, before he shot him.

Amy Emerick Tice

Correction: It's not a plot hole. It's possible people heard but didn't react. It's also possible they didn't really acknowledge to themselves or care that they might have heard gunshots. It's also possible that no-one heard. We don't see that anyone else was actually home in neighbouring houses.

Correction: I wanna know who doesn't care when they hear gun shots in a neighborhood? Especially one with houses close to each other.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Ep. 83, "Kennedy and Heidi": After Christopher dies and they're talking about the cause of death, Meadow says that an airbag deployed without a seatbelt on can cause thorasic damage, but the airbags were not deployed after the accident when Tony reached in to kill him.

Correction: Meadow could have easily heard misinformation saying the bag exploded, when in reality it did not. Afterall, everyone received misinformation as to how Christopher actually died.

Johnny Cakes - S6-E8

Corrected entry: At about five minutes in, A.J. 's hair is longer while he is on the yacht (Stugots II) with Tony than it was prior to that scene and throughout the rest of the episode.

Daniel Garner

Correction: It was a flashback. Kind of prefacing A.J's attack on corrado, which was "attempted" later in the episode.

46 Long - S1-E2

Corrected entry: When Brendon and his 2 friends try to rob the truck, the driver gets shot by accident due to a gun that fell. Look at the second where he falls down. He tries to break his fall by using his left hand. A dead person wouldn't do this. (00:39:10)

Correction: But a fatally injured, dying man would.

Correction: Some nightclubs are open at 6 AM, others open at noon, some are 24 hours. Not everyone lives on a 9 to 5 schedule.

Proshai, Livushka - S3-E2

Continuity mistake: Tony's hair length alternates between a short buzz cut and longer in different shots in the scene where Sil, Paulie and Chris visit him after his mother dies.

Trivia: Whenever the mobsters in the Sopranos pay they almost always take a wad of cash out of their pocket and pull off the top 3-4 bills and hand it over. If Tony is paying for a pizza he pulls off 3-4 bills. If he's bribing someone he pulls off 3-4 bills. No matter what the amount is for that particular situation, it's always covered with the top 3-4 bills of the cash wad.

Season 1 generally

Question: During a restaurant scene Drea deMatteo plays a hostess. She seats the Sopranos, but does not seem to know them. Was she picked to play Adriana after this episode?

Answer: Yup, just like Nicholas Lea was chosen to play Alex Krycek on the X-files after showing up on 1 episode as a different character.
