O Brother, Where Art Thou? - S4-E15

New this month Factual error: While the location of National City is never revealed, it is generally accepted that it is located in the US. But all the helicopters used to fly Lex around are Canadian.

MacGyver (2016)

Seeds + Permafrost + Feather - S3-E17

New this month Factual error: Bozer and for that matter I would assume all of the team went to a spycraft academy. A basic subject in any of such academies is surveillance, including proper techniques to follow and stake out someone. Bozer being so inept at tracking MacGyver's father is inconceivable given their training.

Seeds + Permafrost + Feather - S3-E17

New this month Plot hole: The team is trying to recreate the movements of a murdered seed vault employee by using his phone's geolocation attributes (compass, accelerometer, altimeter, etc). They are trying to backtrack from the place they found the murdered employee to where he first surprised his killer. They backtrack using the data from the employee's phone, and there is another set of data shown on the computer. But they only have one phone's data to work with. Where did the data presumably from the killer's phone come from? (00:12:50)

The One Where Jane Visits an Old Friend - S4-E16

New this month Factual error: A newspaper clipping is shown saying a 15 year old boy became the youngest licensed pilot in Connecticut history. It goes on to say he finished his instruction, signed the paperwork, and took off again in a rented plane for his first solo flight. There are many errors here: 1 - The minimum age for even a student pilot's license is 16. For an unpowered glider, it is 14, but such was not the case here. 2 - Further, a student pilot is not a "licensed" pilot. 3 - In order to obtain a private pilot's license, besides all the written tests and practical instruction, the student needs to have completed: 5 hours of solo cross country flying; 1 solo cross country flight of at least 150nm total distance with full stop landings at 3 points; and one segment of at least 50nm between T/O and landings. So he could not have gone on "his first solo flight" after receiving his license. 4 - A new pilot does not have to sign anything. It is the Aviation Examiner that has to sign off the student and give him a temporary license upon satisfactory completion of the private pilot flight test. (00:26:00)

Ai no i ka 'ape he mane'o no ko ka nuku. - S9-E18

New this month Continuity mistake: Jerry is briefing the team. He says that HPD processed "the van" and found... This is the first mention that HPD even found a van. They were looking with keys found on the victim to see if nearby vehicles would fit them, but there was no prior mention that they had found any vehicle at all. (00:08:50)

E'ao lu'au a kualima - S9-E17

New this month Factual error: A defibrillator is needed immediately. Adam runs to a storage closet and rummages around for a while, and finally finds a defibrillator deep under other things. This medical clinic is a public place. No one would ever bury an automated external defibrillator (AED) under other items in a storage room. AEDs would be visible and accessible for just such emergencies, as instructed on the devices themselves. (00:35:35)

Eye of Horus - S1-E6

New this month Other mistake: A bomber leisurely throws a backpack into a trashcan, which explodes moments later. It does not seem to weigh much, and is easily handled by one hand without effort. Later, we learn that the bomb used about 100 pounds of ammonium nitrate. There could not have been 100 pounds of ammonium nitrate in that backpack considering how easily it was handled. (00:01:30)

When in Rome - S1-E3

Character mistake: Ana Ortiz, who plays Susan Sampson, is of Puerto Rican ancestry and speaks Spanish perfectly, without any accent. At the very end of this episode she is giving a toast to "a very successful mission" and then add "y muchos mas", which is supposed to mean "and many more." Except that in Spanish, missions are female, and she should have said "y muchas mas." (00:47:50)

When in Rome - S1-E3

Character mistake: A van is shown with "Aureli Fallaci" on the side and front. Aureli is the plural of Aurelius, a proper name. Fallaci - the plural of fallacio - just means "fallacious or deceptive." So the letters on this surveillance truck mean nothing logical. It stands out like a sore thumb. Not what you want for a covert surveillance van. (00:15:15)

The Czech List - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: Will is trying to have dinner with a target. There are many people around and diners eating in the restaurant. When the "blonde" puts a gun to Will's head and a fight ensues, the restaurant is instantly deserted. Not only that, but every table is completely devoid of dishes, glasses, etc. It is like the diners were never there. (00:27:30)
