Passions (1999)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: On 2/1/05, at the beginning of the episode, Gwen cornered Theresa and tried to stab her with scissors. Theresa was in her wheelchair, backed up against a wall, and Gwen was standing right over her. Gwen swung her arm, and a wet thud was heard. Then it went to the credits. When it came back, there was a medical supply cart between them, and Theresa was using it to fend Gwen off. But the cart hadn't been seen before, and would have needed to already be between Gwen and Theresa in the last wide shot in order for Theresa to use it like she did just a few seconds later.

Who's Your Daddy? - S1-E3

Factual error: When she's giving the historical tour, Sarah talks about how the Puritans who settled in Point Pleasant faced hardships during their first winter there. But the first village at Point Pleasant was built in 1817, a century and a half after Puritans ceased to exist as a distinct group.

Dead Like Me (2003)

Sunday Mornings - S1-E9

Continuity mistake: When Guggenheim is sitting on the bench after he dies, he reaches for the pink index card and his fingers pass through it. But then how did the index card get to the bench? He had it when the gas tank hit him, so it could make sense if he still had it "with" him, like his clothes, but if he can't touch it now, then it should have stayed with his body, inside the building.

But on 1/26/05, when Belle gave the medal to Philip, she told him that it was the same as the medal that her grandmother had given to her grandfather when he went off to fight in WWII. If Belle knew about a medal that her grandparents had once exchanged, why didn't she just ask the lady for that particular medal?

Ordinary Witches - S7-E11

Plot hole: The innocent who gets Piper's powers uses them to freeze Piper and Phoebe. But even though Piper and Phoebe no longer have their unique powers, they are still good witches; they were still able to scry, and we have encountered good witches on the show in the past who had no powers at all. And by the rules of magic within the show, good witches do not freeze.

Factual error: Throughout the movie, the television sets at ABC are airing historically relevant news broadcasts. However, the events are always shown on the same day as key episodes of Dynasty, but completely divorced from the real date of their occurrence. For example, President George Bush is alleged to have been sworn in on the day the finale aired, May 10, 1989, when it really happened in January of that year.

Factual error: In the movie, Catherine Oxenberg complains of illness as a ploy to gain a higher salary, and her character Amanda is consequently recast after sustaining severe injuries in a car crash. However, in reality, it was Pamela Sue Martin's Fallon who was recast in this way. Amanda was recast after being in a fire at La Mirage.

Plot hole: When both Gwen and Eve were in prison in January of 2005, Ethan was trying to get Theresa (whom Gwen had stabbed in the back) to drop the charge of attempted murder so that Gwen would be able to leave the prison. But Julian loves Eve, and they have reconciled any differences they had three years ago, so why doesn't he also have the option to drop one charge of attempted murder?

Plot hole: On 1/14/05, the prison guard announced that he was taking his ten minute break, and then he simply left Gwen (the prisoner) alone with Sheridan (her visitor). There's no way that a prison guard would be taking his break without being relieved by another guard.

Days of Our Lives (1965)

Show generally

Plot hole: In January of 2005, John became a drug addict and was confronted by Nicole, Brady, and Kate. However, John was exhibiting all of the characteristic behaviors of drug addiction (lying, stealing, denying the need for help) as well as total chemical dependence, later on the same day that he first stole and injected painkillers. No addiction could progress that quickly.

She wouldn't know if it's even past midnight on the day she collapsed, or if she's been unconscious for a day or more. And how did Liz get the answer right, besides?

Factual error: During the preparations for filming the "Moldavian Massacre" scene, Heather Locklear expresses the hope that she will return in the next season. Then, executive producer Esther Shapiro asks for more blood to be put on Locklear. But Locklear's character, Sammy Jo, wasn't in the Moldavian Massacre; she was in New York City during those events.

Continuity mistake: Throughout December, 2004, Luis and Sheridan talked about how their wedding would be the day after Christmas. Then, during the several episodes that took place on Christmas Eve, there was a Christmas tree lighting and the characters went to midnight mass. After that, Luis and Sheirdan went to bed together on 12/27/04 and woke up together on 12/28/04, and it was their wedding day, when it should instead have been Christmas Day, the day before their wedding.

Plot hole: On 12/24/04, Beth was able to identify Mrs. Wheeler as Katherine Crane because of the heart-shaped birthmark on the back of her neck. Given that Katherine had extensive plastic surgery to hide her identity before she left Harmony, to the point that she is completely unrecognizable from facial features, why on earth would she leave such a distinctive marking untouched?

So Sami and Belle were never kids together, and the described interaction is impossible.
