Factual error: When Hurricane Eduardo strikes Dade county, the news reports that "it's a definite category 5," and that "the winds have to be gusting at 150 mph." Even if the winds were sustained at 150 mph, it would only be a category 4 storm. If 150 mph is only the speed of the gusts, it's not necessarily even that strong.

Continuity mistake: After Hurricane Eduardo strikes Dade county, the news report says that the storm has moved north of Miami to threaten Georgia and the Carolinas. Later, at FEMA, the visible satellites show one system of indeterminate strength with its center well southeast of Miami, as well as a hurricane with an eye moving westward several hundred miles east of that. Nothing is shown moving up the Florida coast where Eduardo was described to be.

Continuity mistake: In the premiere episode, which aired on November 8, 1965, Alice mentioned an absent son, saying, "Poor Dan married Kitty down at city hall just before he was shipped overseas." Two years later, Alice's son was found alive and his wife, with whom he reunited, was still named Kitty, but the man's name had changed to Tom Horton, Jr.

Continuity mistake: On 10/21/05, Hope referred to her son Zack as "Zachary Brady." But Zack's name isn't Zachary, it's used as a shorter version of Isaac. Zack's full name is "Beauregard Isaac Theo Brady."

Threshold (2005)

Shock - S1-E5

Factual error: Molly and Ramsey find out that the van they are looking for was ticketed in Baltimore City at "the corner of Pennington and Fifth," and they are looking at a computerized map of the area. However, the map can be easily matched up to the actual Mapquest map of the area around the corner of Fifth St. and Patapsco Ave., except that the latter has been relabeled as Pennington. There is a Pennington Ave. in Baltimore City, but it runs parallel to Fifth, about a mile east of it.

Smallville (2001)

Arrival - S5-E1

Other mistake: In the opening credits of the original broadcast, Kristin Kreuk's first name is misspelled as "Kristen." The credits sequence, which was new for Season 5, was corrected by the time the second episode of the season aired.

Show generally

Continuity mistake: On Thursday, 10/13/05, Belle saw Shawn and Mimi together on the roof. At the end of the episode, she was climbing down the ladder when her foot slipped and she appeared to fall. Belle was not seen on 10/14/05, and then at the beginning of the episode on 10/17/05, they showed a completely different scene where Belle was climbing down the ladder and her foot almost slipped from a rung, but she didn't loose her footing nearly as much as she had the first time these events were shown.

Joey (2004)

Joey and the Stuntman - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: Joey visits Abby at her house. When she first sits down, her arms are open and her low-cut blue blouse can be seen beneath her green jacket. There is a shot of Joey from behind her, during which her right arm is on her leg. Immediately after that, the shot switches to the front, and her arms are crossed across her chest and the green jacked is pulled tight up to her neck.

Days of Our Lives (1965)

Show generally

Factual error: On 9/19/05, Kate mentioned something to Billie about Billie being Lucas' "only sister." But Lucas has three sisters: Billie, Jennifer, and Cassie. All three are actually his half-sisters. Even if Kate wouldn't think of Jennifer, she would certainly remember her own daughter Cassie.

Continuity mistake: On 9/15/05, Ethan referred to Grace Nancier's plea offer as three fifteen year sentences, "served concurrently." But the offer was for sentences served consecutively, which is a big difference.

Other mistake: On 9/13/05, Theresa tried to reach into the furnace to retrieve the disks that Gwen destroyed. With one hand in the fire, she used her other hand to brace herself against the furnace door while Pilar tried to pull her away. After Pilar succeeded, Theresa's arm that had been in the furnace was badly burned. However, the hand that had been gripping the door of the furnace, which should also have been infernally hot, was unharmed.

Passions (1999)

Show generally

Stupidity: On 9/12/05, during Eve's trial, her sister Liz stood up in the courtroom and began a diatribe in which she discussed subject matter relevant to the trial. Ethan then told Eve that this had harmed her chances. Why, then, didn't Ethan ask for a mistrial? A prolonged outburst like that is a classic example of something that would precipitate a mistrial.

Revealing mistake: On 9/6/05, Fancy told Alistair that she wanted to go to Paris, but he forbade it. She then complained that she gets bored staying in one place to long, to which he responded, "Then you're gonna have to teach yourself to amuse yourself. You gotta learn things to be alone." After that, his eyes glazed over slightly before he looked off to the side and moved his lips wordlessly for several seconds and then continued with his dialogue. The actor must have completely dropped a line, because this quotation made no contextual or semantic sense.

Supernova (2005)

Factual error: In the first scene at the Pentagon, the sergeant tells the other officer that all satellites are being put into geosynchronous orbit to "hide them behind the planet." But objects in geosynchronous orbit don't remain hidden behind the Earth relative to the sun; they orbit once a day, remaining over a particular longitude on earth. Therefore, they would be subjected to the magnetic storms every day, during daylight at that longitude.

Continuity mistake: The morning after the tsunamis, Little Ethan was at Pilar's house. He came running out of his bedroom and accidentally saw Rachel's corpse. Later, Ethan Winthrop and Gwen came to the house, but left alone. Theresa later left the house, and then Alistair brought her into the Crane mansion with much fanfare. She entered alone, and then went up to see Jane, still alone. But when we next saw her, she was in Jane's bedroom with Little Ethan, even though Little Ethan never left Pilar's house.

Continuity mistake: On 8/18/05, Noah protests Sam's offer to set up the garage apartment for him. He says that he'll just use his old room. But Noah wouldn't have an "old room" in this house, as the house he grew up in was sucked through a portal into Hell while he was away at college.

Pizza My Heart (2005)

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film, Annette tells Carlo about her feelings, and they kiss in the kitchen of Prestolani's. At the same time, Joe and Gina are in the adjoining rear courtyards of Prestolani's and Montebello's and both restaurants catch on fire because of the faulty utility pole. Annette and Carlo are supposed to be inside Prestolani's, yet are never shown escaping from the fire.

Pizza My Heart (2005)

Plot hole: About two thirds of the way into the film, Gina comes running into Montebello's to talk to Joe, while Joe bursts into Prestolani's to confront Gina. Of course, in typical romantic comedy fashion, they just miss each other. However, the two pizzerias are directly next to each other, and both characters were using the front doors. Therefore, there is no way that they could possibly have missed each other.

Continuity mistake: At the very beginning of the movie, Rachel Leigh Cook drops Doleman off at the bank and he says, "I'm going to go in there and blow them away." At the end of the movie, when the scene is replayed from a different camera angle, he says, "I'm going to go and try and blow them away."
