Plot hole: On 7/1/09, Paul stole Dusty's laptop and gave Damian's name to implicate him. Dusty then accused Damian of the theft, describing it as having happened that morning. As shown in that episode, Damian had been with Meg throughout the morning, including the entire time during which Paul committed the theft. However, Damian does not offer Meg as his alibi and Meg fails to recognize that Damian was with her at the time.

Passions (1999)

Show generally

Plot hole: When J.T. Cornell's dead body fell out of the wedding cake on 12/28/06, Rebecca fell all over him, lamenting loudly to everyone about how much she loved him, how much he meant to her, and how amazing the sex was. (She was really just looking for his flash drive.) However, Rebecca and Gwen had spent the entire fall trying to prevent Ethan from catching Rebecca and J.T. together, because Ethan was convinced that if Rebecca and J.T. knew each other, then it would mean Rebecca and Gwen were lying about the tabloid, which they were. So Rebecca's behavior should have been a huge tipoff to Ethan, but instead he had no reaction at all to this.

Plot hole: In April of 2006, Whitney disappeared from the convent very late at night. Later that same night, it was discovered that she was in Rome. But we never saw her get on a plane - only walking through catacombs with the monk the whole time - and even if she did get on a plane, there hadn't been nearly enough time for her to get to Rome.

Plot hole: When Zack Brady was hit by a car and severely injured in January of 2006, Dr. Lexie Carver urged Bo and Hope to take him off of life support as Zack had no chance of recovery. To encourage them towards this decision, she pointed out that Zack's liver might be a match for Claire Kiriakis, a baby who was dying of liver failure. However, Lexie failed to mention that liver transplants can be done from live donors because the liver regenerates. Dr. Carver would certainly have known that.

Plot hole: On 1/3/06, after the smoky downdraft drove everyone from the living room, characters became separated from each other and spent several scenes trying to find one another. Shortly after everyone reunited into small groups, they received text messages on their cell phones, causing them to return to the living room. But if all these people had their cell phones on them, why didn't anybody try calling their loved ones instead of wandering around aimlessly?

Plot hole: On 1/3/06, after a downdraft drove smoke into the living room, Julian successfully used the control panel to unseal the room. The only door that was actually shown to have opened was an opening onto an outside patio. Since the room was full of smoke, the outside exit would have been by far the most attractive option. Yet, for some reason, everyone scattered in different directions, mostly further into the house.

Pizza My Heart (2005)

Plot hole: About two thirds of the way into the film, Gina comes running into Montebello's to talk to Joe, while Joe bursts into Prestolani's to confront Gina. Of course, in typical romantic comedy fashion, they just miss each other. However, the two pizzerias are directly next to each other, and both characters were using the front doors. Therefore, there is no way that they could possibly have missed each other.

Plot hole: On 6/14/05, Ned and Fancy left Las Vegas by plane and traveled to Harmony. It was already dark when they left, which in June would mean that it must have been after 8pm at the absolute earliest. They arrived in Harmony later the same night. Harmony is in Maine, so by the time they got there, it would have been at least 2am (three hours travel time plus three hours time difference). However, after they had gotten home, Pilar was telling Paloma to come home before midnight, meaning that it was supposed to be much earlier than it could possibly have been at that point.

Then, in May of 2005, Marlena finally returns to Salem and soon has several civil encounters with Nicole, as if she doesn't know that the woman conspired to commit murder. She also fails to denounce Jan, even though Marlena's daughter's best friend Mimi could greatly benefit from such a revelation since she currently stands accused of attacking the woman.

However, in October of 2000, Gwen locked Pilar in a closet and chased after Theresa with a baseball bat, and then attempted to viciously strangle Theresa. Ethan witnessed part of this attack. Even if he was willing to go into the courtroom and lie about that, why wouldn't Theresa expose the fact that he was lying?

Unfortunately, before he can tell her what's going on, the Jennifer impostor knocks him out and tells Jennifer that it was a wrong number. Plot hole: On 3/9/05, Chelsea's mother told Chelsea and Abby that it was bedtime. Then the girls snuck out to go to the Cheating Heart. Later the same night, Abby, Chelsea, and Jennifer were all at Alice's anniversary party, so it was apparently no longer after bedtime. Then, later still, Jennifer was upset that Abby wasn't at the house and therefore was breaking curfew, even though Abby was staying at Chelsea's house in the first place. Nothing about that timeline makes any sense.
