Passions (1999)

Show generally

Plot hole: Theresa goes to visit Chad and Whitney in LA the day after they moved there. Everybody acts as if they've already been there for a long time and Theresa has "finally" been convinced to visit them.

Passions (1999)

Show generally

Plot hole: When Gwen and Ethan were getting ready to go to Los Angeles, Gwen told Ethan that she wanted to stay in Harmony until they knew that Kay (Ethan's half-sister who he barely knew until two years ago) and her baby were out of the woods. Once that happened, they left, without any concern at all for Sheridan (Gwen's lifelong best friend and the woman Ethan thought was his aunt for twenty years), even though she was still missing.

Passions (1999)

Show generally

Plot hole: Although Eve had told Grace about her secret past with Julian, she never told her that Liz was really her sister. She only told Julian, David, and Ivy. But in August, 2003, Eve and Grace began to have a conversation about the situation as if Grace already knew.

Passions (1999)

Show generally

Continuity mistake: Throughout 2000-2001, the character of Ethan Crane was said to have three sisters who were all away at boarding school. By 2003, he instead had just two still-absent sisters, and a brother, Fox, who now appears on the show. (By siblings, I mean children who were raised as Julian and Ivy's.)

Clueless (1995)

Continuity mistake: At the valley party, after Travis tries to see how Tai is while she's laid out on the counter, Cher pushes him all the way out of the kitchen so that his entire body is in the doorframe. In the next shot, he is several steps back into the kitchen as he turns to go back into the other room.

Sister Act (1992)

Character mistake: During the end credits, three of the magazine covers spell Whoopi's character's name as "Delores." Two of the covers spell it "Deloris," as do the credits.

Sister Act (1992)

Factual error: At the very end of the movie, the Pope gives the nuns a standing ovation. The other people seated in the box with him should have immediately risen at this time. Instead, the man seated to his left looks up at him, seeing that the pontiff has stood, but makes no movement to join him on his feet.

Sister Act (1992)

Other mistake: When Whoopi first takes over the choir, she asks the sisters to stand according to their singing voices. She asks where the sopranos are, and several women on opposite corners of the grouping raise their hands. She asks them to all move over to the left group, but only one of the two women on the right side actually does so.

First Wives Club (1996)

Continuity mistake: The three women do parts of their "You Don't Own Me" act at two different points in the movie, both times supposedly doing the choreography they had worked out for Cynthia's birthday party, 25 years earlier. But the two instances differ in what Goldie Hawn and Bette Midler do right after the "Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba." The first time, they raise their hands over their heads. The second time, at the very end of the movie, they bend at the knees and put their hands together directly in front of Diane Keaton.

Clueless (1995)

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the movie, when Josh and Cher talk on the stairs, the shot changes to a close-up and they have moved from their previous positions. They are slightly closer together, and their legs are positioned differently.

Clueless (1995)

Continuity mistake: When Tai is being held over the railing at the mall by the guys from Foot Locker, Christian begins to run towards her as soon as she screams. There is a shot of Tai, and then back to Cher and Christian. But Christian's motion resumes from exactly where he had been in the last shot of him, despite almost two elapsed seconds.

Audio problem: Near the end of the film, when the Commodores finally go on stage with their equipment, Bobby Speed announces them from inside the control booth. But the movement of his mouth does not match the audio (you have to look at his reflection in the glass wall).
