Toymaster: Do you want to believe, Lisa?
Lisa Piper: Yes, I do. More than anything. I always wanted to be a kid, I always wanted to play with toys. I believe in all of you, and I am still just a kid. I really am.
Toymaster: Lisa, listen to me. I'm not the one who can save Toyland. You are, only you.
Lisa Piper: But what do I have to do?
Toymaster: Believe in Toyland, and all that it stands for.
Lauren: Did you just use use the L word with Dick?
Jen: We said it last night.
Lauren: Jen! That's great Why didn't you tell me?
Jen: Well, you finally had a date and it was so awful. I didn't want to make you feel lonelier than you probably already feel.
Lauren: I'm fine actually and I'm not lonely. I have two wonderful men in my life: Brendan and Tyler.
Jen: Brendan needs a girlfriend and Tyler needs Ritalin.
Mrs. Connelly: Tell me about yourselves. What do you do Alan?
Alex Rose: Uh, it's Alex.
Nancy Kendricks: Alex is a writer.
Mrs. Connelly: Oh, a writer. I always thought of that as more of a hobby than a real job. I suppose I'm forgetting about Joyce.
Alex Rose: Joyce. James Joyce. Of course. Wonderful writer.
Mrs. Connelly: He died drunk and penniless.
Mrs. Connelly: I couldn't help noticing that Alex left the house this morning while you stayed home.
Nancy Kendricks: I was downsized from my job.
Mrs. Connelly: Oh, I'm sorry, but I'm sure it's for the best. Let Mr. Rose get out there and bring home the bacon. I always thought it was strange your husband staying home while you were out there providing.
Nancy Kendricks: Well, he's a writer.
Mrs. Connelly: Writer? The man naps more than a newborn pup. What's he writing about? Sheep?
Prince Henry: I have no desire to be king.
Danielle: Oh, but think of all the wonderful things you could do for your country, for the world.
Prince Henry: Yes, but to be so defined by your position. To never be seen as who you are, but what you are. You have no idea how insufferable that is.
Danielle: You might be surprised.
Danielle: I insist you return my things at once. And since you deprive me of my escort, I demand a horse as well.
Gypsy Leader: M'lady, you may have anything you can carry.
Danielle: [Quickly glances at Prince Henry.] May I have your word on that, sir?
Gypsy Leader: [Thinks about it.] On my honor as a Gypsy, whatever you can carry.
[Danielle walks to Prince Henry, lifts him over her shoulders and begins to walk off with him. All the gypsies laugh.]
Gypsy Leader: [Laughing.] Wait! Please, come back! I'll give you a horse!
