Continuity mistake: When Drew is in her car at the restaurant, chastising Adam Sandler for faking not knowing how to read, a truck with the "Spam" logo drives by. The DVD commentary states the logo was added digitally later. When Adam's character runs back to his car, the logo is not on the truck anymore. (00:37:10 - 00:38:20)

When leaving to Alaska, Henry receives a Beach Boys CD from Lucy's dad. He remebers Lucy's dad saying right before he left that Lucy was singing again and that she only sang when she thought of Henry. Henry turns back to Hawaii and goes to get Lucy at the institute. She doesn't remember Henry, but she has dreams of him everynight. Eventually, Lucy and Henry get married. Henry makes a tape for her to watch every morning. The movie ends when Lucy awakes on Henry's boat, in Alaska, and meets her daughter (Lucy's dad is there too).
Cady
Henry: Ula! Get back to cleaning the pool! And if that's one of your special brownies, don't let any of the dolphins eat that.
Ula: How do you think I get the dolphins to do double-flips and play with the white kids?
Trivia: Allen Covert, the actor who played "Ten Second Tom," is an old friend of Adam Sandler's who has been in 13 of Sandler's last 15 films. He was also in three of Drew Barrymore's films.
Question: If Lucy's father was the one that gave Henry the Beach Boys CD, how could Henry take that as a sign that Lucy remembers him?

Chosen answer: Lucy's father previously told Henry that she only sings on days that she meets him - then you see a flash of her painting in the garage, singing a Beach Boys song. Right before he hands Henry the Beach Boys CD, he tells him that she's even singing again. Henry realized as he listened to CD - maybe if she is singing again, she is thinking of him, hence, remembering him. (It happens to be the same song that she was singing in the garage that's playing on the boat when Henry turns around to go back. It's called 'Wouldn't It Be Nice').
Why wouldn't the father just tell him directly "hey she's been painting and singing again, so she probably might remember you"
