Corrected entry: In the scene where Landa and Shosanna meet in the café, we see Landa light his cigarette. In the next shot of him, a mere five seconds later, it appears to have burnt down by almost an inch - much further than one might expect. (01:00:00)

Correction: A lot of the cigarettes during WWII were not tobacco cigarettes, as tobacco was hard to come by. Even name brand cigarettes often used fillers. Because of this, a lot of the cigarettes burned a lot faster than we might expect, especially if the smoker drew hard on the cigarette trying to get nicotine from the little tobacco that was in them.

Corrected entry: Education in U.S. prisons must have been excellent in them days: A day or two after being released, after serving something like ten years, Noodles drives a car with great routine. (01:56:00)

Correction: "Them days," seriously? Driving a car is like riding a bike. Once you learn how to do it, relearning to drive and navigate comes back very quickly. I hadn't ridden a motorcycle in over 20 years before I bought another one. I was riding like a veteran rider within a few days.

Traitor (2008)

Corrected entry: While the marks (the people that are to bomb the bus) are shown boarding the bus, there is a mistake. The plot later reveals that all of the bombers were on the same bus. However, while they board, at least two different bus drivers are shown accepting their tickets. One is an older man and the other is probably a woman with reddish hair (the woman is shown first).

Correction: This is a montage of the terrorists boarding different buses. They came from all over the States to get to one location, and then board a particular bus. They didn't all get on the same bus initially.

Corrected entry: Sarah's tape is played back differently than when she recorded it in the first movie. For example, in T1 she says, "If you don't send Kyle back, you can never be" before she says "A person could go crazy thinking about this." However, here in T4, the two lines are reversed. She also has a line about Kyle being a teenager, which is never said in T1, and in fact wouldn't make sense. Sarah was able to postpone Judgment Day after T1 which means that she changed the future - and it is through this altered future that Kyle is a teenager at this point. She couldn't have known this in T1.

Correction: There were years that had passed between T1 and T2, plenty of time for Sarah to re-record, edit, or add information, even make whole new volumes of tapes using most of her previous statements on a new tape.

Corrected entry: At the end of the scene with the television turning on, when the camera is pointed down the stairs for the second time, a crouched person can be seen moving around in the living room. This is not our ghost, as he/she/it is invisible.

Correction: No he/she/it is not invisible at all times. There are other times the demon (not ghost) allows itself to leave evidence such as its' footsteps. There are also other points in the film where a shadow can briefly be seen. It's a supernatural being who can pass through walls, or choose to be corporeal enough to slam doors, move blankets and swing chandeliers.

Corrected entry: In the scene after Perseus is healed from his Scorpion bite, he stands up in front of a large rock wall. A very visible tear is above his head to the left, flapping in the wind. This reveals that this is a backdrop. It is in several shots.

bigfootcube

Correction: That's not part of the rock wall, it's part of the shelter he was laying under.

Bride of Chucky (1998)

Corrected entry: When Jesse goes to pick up Jade to run away together, as they go back to the van he automatically opens the back door and then says he was sure the door was locked. If that was the case he would have tried to unlock it before trying to open it.

Correction: Not necessarily. I've had times where I was sure I locked my car, but still tried the handle first out of force of habit.

28 Days (2000)

Corrected entry: When Gwen is leaving the hospital, many of the people who were there when she arrived are still there. But if it's a 28-day program, as the title suggests, shouldn't everyone else - except Eddie, who showed up later, and Daniel, who came back - be gone?

Correction: It's a 28 day program, but some people choose to do the program over again if they still need help. It happens relatively frequently at rehab clinics.

The Hurt Locker (2008)

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the film, you see Sgt. James walking to a new bomb-disassembly mission. When his suit changes from uniform to bomb-shield, you can see a man with a grey t-shirt and camera in his hand in from of James in the reflection of his helmet, just above the visor at the right. The next scene shows nobody in front of him. (01:05:25)

medinauta

Correction: Throughout the movie we have seen Iraqi civilians videotaping him defusing bombs, some with ties to terrorist groups, who, for obvious reasons, would tape him, then slip away from the area.

Starsky & Hutch (2004)

Corrected entry: When Starsky is coked up in the dance club he uses the phrase "Wax On..." which is a reference to the Karate Kid which wasn't released until 1984, but this movie is supposed to be taking place in the 70's.

Correction: The words themselves are not exclusive to The Karate Kid. It has long been associated with the car polishing product Carnauba Wax.

Corrected entry: When Lewis follows Betty into the Fun House, he removes his glasses so he can wear the mask. We then see his point of view from behind the mask, as Betty leads him to the Moon Walk. He has pretty good eyesight. Everything is crystal clear making his eyeglasses seemingly unnecessary. (01:09:15)

djm

Correction: It's seen from his point of view, but not through his eyesight. It's a movie making convention, and not a mistake.

9 (2009)

Corrected entry: Before the Seamstress is attacking, there was a quick shot of 8. His mouth was sewed so he couldn't scream for help. Why didn't the Seamstress sew 1's mouth closed?

Correction: This is a question, not a mistake.

The Descent (2005)

Corrected entry: When the girls reach the cave, the blue truck parks and the BMW parks on its left side. When the last girl reaches the surface, she gets it the blue truck. When she goes to the truck, the beamer isn't there, But when she pulls out its on the left again.

Correction: This scene is a hallucination of Sarah's, as in the final scene we see she is still in the cave. She can be misremembering where the vehicles were parked, and as she is not thinking, remembering them at one point both being present, and at another only the Bronco II.

rswarrior

Her still being in the cave is in the UK release but not the USA version-in the latter, she escapes but hallucinates that Juno is in the vehicle with her as she tries to get away.

Dumbo (1941)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the ringmaster is explaining his new idea for a performance to the janitor, he mentions "until finally all seventeen elephants have constructed an enormous pyramid", but in the elephant pyramid scene there is only 7-8 elephants.

ridley

Correction: The remaining elephants would have to be trained, yet. They won't instantly know how to do it, and can't all be trained at once.

Red Eye (2005)

Corrected entry: For all the trouble the assassins went through, with 8 weeks detailed surveillance on Lisa, an expensive and incredibly difficult to obtain Javelin missile and such, they picked a surprisingly poor method of attack. It's pretty clear from the technical data of the Javelin missile and the images in the movie (where the effect is exaggerated) that the attack would have a very low probability of actually killing anyone, let alone the entire family as stated. Moreover, the boat the missile was fired from was too large to hide and too small to escape sufficiently far, and the assassins would most likely be caught. As such, the operation was needlessly complicated on many points, yet it worked almost perfectly. Whomever was planning the operation had to be both a genius and an idiot at the same time, which makes it a plot hole.

Correction: No, it makes it a possibly poor decision. Just because something isn't done the way you feel it should have been done, practically or tactically, does not make it a plot hole. Even your submission allows for probabilities, likelihoods, and possibilities other than what is presented in the movie.

Easy Rider (1969)

Corrected entry: At the time the picture was made, there were helmet laws in every state they passed through except California. It seems established that a helmet is the one thing Jack Nicholson needs to join them on the trip. In an environment in which the law was champing at the bit for an excuse to bust them, it seems odd that Dennis Hopper manages to ride his bike from Arizona to Florida without a helmet.

Correction: A lot of people during that era ignored helmet laws, and since it cost more money to administer a ticket than the penalty, many police didn't bother giving a no helmet ticket, unless there was another charge, such as speeding. It's much the same way with seatbelt laws in present day. Unless there is an enforcement focus program, most officers won't issue a seatbelt ticket unless the driver is cited for another infraction. The police were more interested in giving the bikers a ticket for drug possession or something more serious than no helmet.
