Corrected entry: Right after Brom is hit with the spear to save Eragon, Eragon bends down and picks up a sword off the floor and throws it at Durza. This sword is Zar'roc (Brom's red sword) when it was supposed to be the plain sword he had just dropped on the floor a moment ago after casting the spell. As they are escaping, Zar'roc is still shown in Brom's sheath and is not removed until Brom tells Eragon to take it. (01:03:30)
Corrected entry: During the beer pong game with USA and Germany, it is said that Todd never competed in any of the games, but during a beer pong game with England, there is Todd playing with his brother.
Correction: They are referring to the fact that Todd didn't compete in any of the games against Germany. Each competitor has to participate in at least one game against each different team they face.
Corrected entry: In the courtroom scene, James Franco is standing in front of the board, and you can see Tyrese sitting to the side. Tyrese plays a Marine in the movie but he is wearing a Seaman's White Dress Uniform in the courtroom. Marines don't have white uniforms. Those who have the DVD can see him on the cover as well wearing a Cheif's cover.
Correction: At Annapolis, all Midshipmen wear Navy uniforms. On the cover of the DVD as well as on the movie poster, Tyrese is wearing a Midshipman's cover, not a Chief's. Chief's combination covers have a black band, while officer's wear gold.
Corrected entry: Peter Lyman's secretary thought he had poisoned her because she was finding out that he was the Tarot Murderer. He wasn't, and hadn't yet committed his only murder. So she could have been wrong about having been poisoned, but what could she possibly have found out about him, if he wasn't the murderer at all?
Correction: The secretary read in the papers that a rare cuff link was found at the scene of a murdered prostitute. She phoned someone, telling them this AND that her boss Peter Lyman happened to be missing that exact cuff link. Peter was listening in on this phone conversation. Peter had visited this prostitute and he didn't want THAT information leaking out. Therefore he DID poison the secretary to prevent that.
Corrected entry: When Dean and Eric are tied up and the Sheriff comes in and sprays them both with water, after he turns the water off we see Dean and he is soaked. A second later we see a close-up of his face and his hair is completely dry.
Correction: I have just watched the scene three times and his hair is still damp.
Corrected entry: In the last scene, we see DJ and Chowder running off to go trick-or-treating. As the camera view zooms out, we see a column of smoke rising up from the ruins of Nebbercracker's house. A logical explanation for this would be the chimney of Nebbercracker's house. However, the house has been blown to smitherines in the previous few scenes.
Correction: The smoke is never rising out from a chimney, but the hole in the ground. We see the smoke rising after the house is destroyed in the empty lot, and the smoke is still rising when the neighborhood kids are getting their toys back.
Corrected entry: When the girls are testing out Kate's boobcam, notice Heather who appears to be attaching both a blue and pink hair clipper to Kate's hair. A couple of shots later they've both disappeared. (00:43:10)
Corrected entry: In the map used for the road trip, it shows that they traveled on Interstate 95 through the center of North Carolina. In reality, this is where Interstate 85 runs.
Corrected entry: It is revealed in this movie that there is an "Escape Clause". However, if you look back on the very first Santa Clause movie it was established that being Santa Claus is a lifetime commitment or in the clause's terms "unable to do so, by either accident or design". Hence, the instruction that his coat must be worn by someone else in case something happens to him so that someone else will always carry on Santa's work. Scott already tried in the first movie to get out of the responsibility but the clause doesn't permit him to do so.
Correction: That's the whole point of the movie. Of course it doesn't seem like there's a way out, but the Escape Clause is exactly that, an override to the original clause that makes it null.
Corrected entry: Whenever an animal speaks English in this movie, their mouths are forming the words they say, like a regular human. But when we hear them speaking bear language, their mouths are moving completely differently.
Correction: That's because they want you to under stand what they are saying. If their mouths moved like a bear, the dialogue would look weird. And if the bears mouth moved like a human that would also look weird. Like for example, the movie Mulan. Everyone speaks English but they are all Chinese. They just want you to understand what they say.
Corrected entry: Nicholas is hung up by hooks in the same room that Dr. Junju is shot. Even though the hostages can see into this room, as evident by the shot shown when Dr. Junju is killed, no one appears to notice when Nicholas is hung up.
Correction: Who says they didn't notice? They are doing what hostages do, keeping their heads down, and minding their own business. Given the fact that there are mad men running around with machine guns, it is not unreasonable that they would be more concerned about their own lives. Not to mention, once the plane is taking off, look at the other passengers, they all stare at him. Especially the woman who is sitting behind him. It is fair to say they did notice, but what could they do to help him? Nothing.
Corrected entry: The f-word is spoken 275 times.
Correction: Counting expletives in a movie is hardly trivia. If it was, it would be equally valid to count any word used in the film.
Corrected entry: When Han does donuts around the skyline with the pretty girls, he makes a dark circle of tire marks. After Han gets their number, the skid marks disappear as they drive away.
Correction: I just watched it - the ring of black awesomeness remains.
Corrected entry: A group of Japanese soldiers, standing in a small circle in a cave, commit suicide one at a time, using grenades. Each grenade harms only the solder pulling the pin and no-one else. In reality, every grenade would have wounded and perhaps killed everyone in the group. (01:14:20)
Correction: People are mistaken about the power of hand grenades, caused by years of Hollywood blockbusters showing them virtually demolishing buildings. In reality, a small grenade from WW2, especially clutched to the chest like they did, will only kill that person, possibly small shrapnel wounds to those nearby. The TV show Mythbusters had the old "jump on a hand grenade to save your friends" myth (which turned out to be true) and many people were surprised by how small the explosion was of a grenade just sitting on the ground. Even ten feet away you could survive with maybe minor wounds.
Corrected entry: When the Cubs drop a fly ball, Gary's buddy stands up and points to the Chicago White Sox logo on his shirt to get the fans around him riled up, so apparently we're seeing an inter-league game between the Cubs and White Sox. A few minutes later we see the Cubs making a successful out at first base, and the runner has a Milwaukee Brewers uniform on (freeze-frame helps but is not necessary).
Correction: This error was already submitted, and corrected.
Corrected entry: In the beginning of the movie when the United pilots are walking toward the plane they show United 93 at its gate. The plane shown is a Boeing 777 and not the 757-222.
Correction: It IS a 757-222 continuously throughout the film, including all shots of the pilots walking towards it.
Corrected entry: At one point everyone is running in the woods. When they say "don't need no land, don't need no tree, out in the water that's where I wanna be," you can see the shadow of the helicopter that's shooting this scene.
Correction: If you look at the shadow of the helicopter, it is the outline of a Coast Guard Helicopter.
Corrected entry: Without a valid ticket/boarding pass you can't get through security, much less on board a plane. As Roger did not know he was "supposed" to go, he wouldn't have had a ticket.
Correction: Dr. P (Billy Bob Thornton) gave him a ticket.
Corrected entry: Will Smith's son is given a basketball as a gift. Later on, when he tells his son they are gonna go back home, he says, "We are gonna get you home to your football."
Correction: Totally plausible as a character mistake. His concern wasn't the fact that it was one ball over another, just that his son was placated and felt important.
Corrected entry: Akeelah spells the word 'concierge' wrong, without the second 'c', but is given it as being correct by the judges.
Correction: Akeelah quite spells the word correctly in this scene. The sound levels may affect how this is heard.
Correction: I this scene, afterwards, there was plenty of time fo Eragon to put Zar'roc back in Brom's sheath. Then after seeing how brave Eragon was, Brom decided to give Zar'roc to him.
