Corrected entry: Nicholas is hung up by hooks in the same room that Dr. Junju is shot. Even though the hostages can see into this room, as evident by the shot shown when Dr. Junju is killed, no one appears to notice when Nicholas is hung up.

Correction: Who says they didn't notice? They are doing what hostages do, keeping their heads down, and minding their own business. Given the fact that there are mad men running around with machine guns, it is not unreasonable that they would be more concerned about their own lives. Not to mention, once the plane is taking off, look at the other passengers, they all stare at him. Especially the woman who is sitting behind him. It is fair to say they did notice, but what could they do to help him? Nothing.
