Continuity mistake: When Joey is sleeping on the couch at the start of the episode, the table beside him has numerous items on it. There is a red Pringles can next to a blue paper box, a purple box behind the blue box, and a crisps bag beside the purple box. A few seconds later, when Joey sits up, the Pringles can is now ahead of the blue box, and the crisps bag is now ahead of the purple box. (00:01:15)

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene in the caravan, there is a circular cushion that is placed on one of the couch seats. Later in the same scene, the cushion has moved into the gap between two of the seats. (00:01:27)

Continuity mistake: When Tea first sees Kaiba's helicopter flying over, she is sitting down with her hands on the table. When the shot cuts, she is standing up, with her right hand over her face. (00:05:46)

Continuity mistake: When Mokuba is explaining Kaiba's new theme park to the main characters, there is nothing on the table in front of him. Then, when the shot cuts to an angle focusing on him, a cup has suddenly appeared on the table in front of him. (00:06:25)

Continuity mistake: When Kaiba is speaking to Mokuba and Roland in his office, his computer is positioned toward the centre of the desk. Later in the scene, when Mokuba says, "It'll be the biggest thing since Battle City," the computer has moved closer to the edge of the desk. The computer goes back to being in the centre of the desk shortly after, and also changes position from being near the rear side of the desk to being closer to the front side of the desk. Revealing mistake: After Kaiba has finished explaining the KaibaCorp Grand Championship, there is a wide shot of the office where Kaiba says to Mokuba, "Good idea." In the wide shot, Kaiba's body appears to be unnaturally small, and his arms and legs appear even tinier. (00:07:36)

Continuity mistake: When Zigfried sits down in the deckchair, there is a cup and teapot on the table, which are positioned side by side. Later in the scene, after he hits his laptop with a rose, the cup is now ahead of the teapot. (00:10:09 - 00:10:33)

Continuity mistake: In the wide shot where the KC DuelTek 760 is first shown, the duelist has a monster on the field which is positioned in front of him, to the left. Two shots later, when the duelist tells the monster what to do, the monster is now directly in front of the duelist. (00:12:03)

Revealing mistake: When Mokuba is showing everyone the new duelling field, in the shot of Joey saying "Not too shabby," the Millennium Puzzle that Yugi is wearing is animated completely wrong. Instead of the hole in the centre and the designs that are shown on the front side of the puzzle, there is only one awkwardly drawn shape. (00:12:06)

Continuity mistake: When one of the boys is telling Luke he owes him a Blue Eyes burger, Leon has his arms lowered. The shot then cuts to an angle in front of him and his left arm is bent at the elbow and his right forearm is raised while he tells him he put up a good fight. (00:14:20)

Continuity mistake: When Leon is introducing himself to Yugi, in the shot of the two shaking hands, Rebecca can be seen in the background facing the opposite direction and giving a boy with a purple coat an autograph. When it cuts to a wide shot, Rebecca has turned around and the boy with the purple coat is now standing beside Leon. (00:14:50)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi is looking through Rick's dragon deck, he is holding the cards all in one hand. Then it cuts to a close-up of the cards where Yugi is holding them in two separate hands. After that, there is a shot focusing on Yugi, Rebecca, and Joey where Yugi's hands are closer together. (00:15:25)
Unwanted Guest: Part One - S5-E1
Continuity mistake: When Yugi hands Rick the Heart of the Underdog card, Rick has the card raised to his face when it is handed to him. When the shot cuts to focus on Yugi, the card is suddenly away from Rick's face. (00:15:57)
Unwanted Guest: Part Two - S5-E2
Continuity mistake: On the DuelTek's first turn, it has four cards in its hand. Then there is a close-up of the cards in its "hand", where there are only three cards visible, and then it draws a fourth card. In the shot after that, there are now five cards in its hand. (00:04:03)
Unwanted Guest: Part Two - S5-E2
Other mistake: When Yugi starts losing Life Points after Petit Dragon is destroyed, the Life Point count appears to be well over 4000 when his points start to go down, even though duelists begin duels with 4000 Life Points. (00:05:08)

Continuity mistake: After Yugi destroys Airknight Parshath with Luster Dragon, the DuelTek draws a card that appears alongside the three other cards. It then cuts to a close-up of the cards, where they are suddenly closer together. (00:07:06)
Unwanted Guest: Part Two - S5-E2
Other mistake: When Slate Warrior is destroyed by Luster Dragon, the DuelTek's life points go down to 3400. However, the points begin counting down from over 4000. First, duelists only have 4000 life points at the start of a duel, and second, the DuelTek's life points were 3700 at the end of the previous turn due to Luster Dragon destroying Airknight Parshath. Unwanted Guest: Part Two - S5-E2
Continuity mistake: When Yugi draws the Heart of the Underdog card, he has two fingers pressed against the card. The fingers are positioned vertically, but after a close-up of the card is shown, the next shot shows his fingers positioned at a more horizontal angle. (00:09:30)
Unwanted Guest: Part Two - S5-E2
Continuity mistake: When Yugi draws the Spirit Ryu card, in the close-up of the card, he has three fingers off the card that are positioned at a vertical angle. But in the next shot, his fingers that are off the card are positioned at a horizontal angle. (00:11:16)
