Continuity mistake: Whilst staring at the tablet, Yugi looks at the Egyptian God cards in his hand. He is holding them so that the middle card is placed behind the other two. When he raises the cards to the tablet a few seconds later, the middle card is in front of the other two. (00:06:35)
Continuity mistake: When purple sparks begin emerging from the Egyptian God cards, Joey is standing behind Yugi. A few seconds later, when Tea asks what they should do, Joey is standing on Yugi's right. (00:07:10)
Continuity mistake: When the main characters discover dragons flying across the city, there is a shot from behind them where Tristan says someone's duel disk must have gone haywire. At this moment, Téa is standing a short distance away from Yugi. When the shot cuts, Téa is standing closer to Yugi. (00:07:40)
Revealing mistake: After Joey says "Let's pay a visit to Kaiba" and Yugi replies "Good idea", the scene cuts to a grey car slowing down while a purple dragon lands on the ground in front of it. Audio problem: When Gurimo is explaining the rules of The Seal of Orichalcos to Yugi, he says, "But the loser can never leave." Whilst saying this, the area of his face above his mouth, but below his eyes, can be seen moving with the line. Then it cuts to an extreme close-up of his face where, even though his mouth isn't visible in the frame, the area above his mouth is visible but doesn't appear to move while he continues speaking. Continuity mistake: After Yugi summons Gamma the Magnet Warrior, Gurimo sets a trap card in his duel disk. To do this, he raises the duel disk at an upward angle, but when the shot cuts, the duel disk is lowered at a downward angle. (00:17:08)
Continuity mistake: When Makyura the Destructor is summoned to the field, its right forearm is raised to be level with its chest. Then, in a close-up of the monster, its forearm is raised so that its hand is aligned with its face and then lowers it to be level with its chest. (00:17:39)
Continuity mistake: After Gurimo activates Card of Sanctity, he and Yugi begin drawing cards until there are six cards in their hands. Then it cuts to a shot behind Joey, Tea and Tristan, where Yugi and Gurimo can be seen in the background of the shot, but their hands appear to be empty. (00:08:38)
Continuity mistake: When Yugi and the others run up to Professor Hawkins, Joey and Tristan are standing directly behind Yugi. Professor Hawkins then tells Yugi he's just the person he needs to see, but when the shot cuts again, Joey and Tristan are behind Yugi, but to his right. (00:20:30)
Continuity mistake: When Professor Hawkins tells Yugi he shares a common bond with a 5000-year-old Pharaoh, Solomon is standing slightly ahead of Yugi. The shot then cuts to Yugi saying, "Yeah, that my life's more confusing than most kids," and Solomon is standing slightly behind Yugi. (00:02:40)

Continuity mistake: In the flashback of Professor Hawkins finding the carvings, there is a woman and man behind him. The woman standing behind him appears to be standing with her body mostly facing the walls, but at a slightly rotated angle. When the shot cuts, her body is facing away from the walls, with her head fully turned to face the walls. Also, the man goes from standing behind Hawkins to standing ahead of him when the shot cuts. Continuity mistake: When Tristan calls Professor Hawkins a nutty professor, he is standing slightly behind Joey. When Rebecca kicks him, he is standing in front of Joey. (00:05:03)
Continuity mistake: When Rebecca kicks Tristan, in the shot of Tristan's leg being kicked, Yugi's legs can be seen next to him standing in the same direction. When the shot cuts, Yugi has rotated 90 degrees to be directly facing Tristan. (00:05:06)
