Continuity mistake: After Kaiba has summoned Z-Metal Tank and Clone Dragon to the field, the other characters react to this while sitting among the crowd. Yugi says, "and it's gonna get worse," and turns his head to the right to face Zigfried's side of the field. When this happens, Tea and Rebecca are looking forwards. When the shot cuts, they are looking to the right in the same direction as Yugi. (00:13:04)

Other mistake: When Kaiba summons Pitch-Dark Dragon to the field, there is one other card in his hand. He then sets a card face-down, which would mean that he has no more cards in his hand. But at the start of his next turn, right before he draws a card from his deck, there is already one card in his hand, even though he would have had no more cards in his hand at the end of his previous turn. Other mistake: When Kaiba activates Pot of Greed, there is one card in his left hand. He then draws two more cards from his deck, but then there are only two cards that can be seen in his hand, even though there should be a total of three cards in his hand overall. (00:15:57)

Revealing mistake: A live feed of the duel between Kaiba and Zigfried is displayed on screens in the arena that are positioned behind them. Whenever the screens are shown, another version of the same screen can be seen displayed on the feed. However, the same live feed cannot be seen. Instead, a white light is displayed on the screen and not another version of the live feed.
