Homer the Great - S6-E12

Corrected entry: George Bush says that he has to disagree with Orville, Jack and Mr. But at the beginning of the episode, Lenny says that the stonecutters call each other by number and not by name.

Correction: It seems likely that Lenny meant that the number is their rank and therefore their title. After Homers has taken the secret oath the leader gives him a number but after that no other mention of numbers is used. Bush is not the only one who uses other Stonecutter names. When Moe says they have to kill Homer and the Leader says "Take it easy Moe". Before Homer's birthmark is found the leader addresses Homer by his full name.

Correction: This episode was recently shown on T.V. and it does show Marge cutting up the celery.

Jane Doe

Correction: Skinner said he *doesn't* have a secretary. He didn't say he has *never* had one. He obviously doesn't have one in this episode. He didn't say anything about the secretary he had in Bart the Genius.

Correction: She's only afraid of flying in planes.

Tree House of Horror V - S6-E6

Question: Homer travels back in time and causes changes by what he does in the past, like stepping on a bug. I once saw a movie with the same basic plot: some people travel back in time and are told to be careful not to disturb anything, but when they return to their time everything has changed. In the end they discover it was because they stepped on a butterfly. Does anyone know the name of this movie?

Answer: I'm not sure if this is the one you're thinking of, but an episode of "Ray Bradbury Theatre," called "A Sound of Thunder," dealt with a similar matter: a group of hunters travel back in time to hunt dinosaurs, only to find things have changed when they get back because someone stepped on a butterfly.
