The One Where Heckles Dies - S2-E3
Corrected entry: When Mr. Heckles goes back to his apartment, it looks as if he is going upstairs, when actually his apartment is below Monica and Rachel's.
The One Where Underdog Gets Away - S1-E9
Corrected entry: When Monica yells about how many potatoes she made when they were locked out, she calls Joey Mario. Not Joey.
Correction: Because of Joey's VD poster: "What Mario isn't telling you".
The One With The Ball - S5-E21
Corrected entry: While Sphynx cats are not generally hypoallergenic, Monica could not have had an allergic reaction because her exposure to the cat was minimal and she didn't touch it.
Correction: Many people, like my mother, are highly allergic to a cat's dander or saliva and will have a reaction just being in a room where the cat had been. No actual contact is needed in order to have a reaction. The cat doesn't even need to be there at the same time as the allergic person. Monica could easily have still had an allergic reaction to the cat eve though her exposure was minimal and she didn't touch it.
The One With The Red Sweater - S8-E2
Corrected entry: Ross and Chandler are in the ballroom looking for the disposable cameras. Chandler comes out from under the table, a disposable camera is in clear shot on top of the table but neither character notices.
The One With Chandler's Dad - S7-E22
Corrected entry: Joey walks into the coffee shop and says "Hey Pheebs." It's Ross' voice dubbed over, not Joey's.
The One With Ross's Wedding, part 1 - S4-E23
Corrected entry: Emily, Ross and Monica walk past a black door, the shot changes to in front of them and back. When it goes back, the door is now a cream colour. (00:05:20)
Correction: None of the doors they pass are "cream colour" - every door they pass is black. It's all the window and door trim that are cream.
The One Where Chandler Crosses The Line - S4-E7
Corrected entry: Towards the end of the episode, when Chandler comes into the apartment to talk to Joey about his kiss with Kathy, Joey turns the TV off and places the remote on the counter. However, the TV is suddenly back on after Joey asks, "Is that why you bought all this stuff?" (referring to the furniture), and then Joey turns it off again manually. (00:17:10)
Correction: When Joey uses the remote he only mutes the TV's sound, and in the widescreen version we can see that "Wonder Woman" is still playing on the TV, then later Joey turns off the TV manually.
Corrected entry: At the very end when Joey breaks down the door, what looks like a stage curtain blows into the shot. (00:20:55)
Correction: That's not a curtain on the soundstage, it's actually the tablecloth on the side table - it's white with green pattern and trim. It's also visible earlier in the episode.
The One With The Mugging - S9-E15
Corrected entry: Phoebe realises that she was the girl who mugged Ross when he was 14. This cannot be true when all throughout the whole show Ross says that he and Monica grew up in Long Island and he moved to NYC for college.
Corrected entry: The color of the keys laid down at the end of the episode by each friend corresponds to the colored dots between the letters in the Friends title (red, yellow, and blue).
Correction: The keys are in fact (in no particular order) : purple, blue, black, red, bronze, and bronze.
The One With The Nap Partners - S7-E6
Corrected entry: When Ross and Joey are auditioning for Monica's maid of honour, Rachel says she met Monica when they were 6 and she met Chandler when he was 25, but in other episodes it shows that they had been to thanksgiving dinners together when Chandler was in college with Ross. In another episode it also shows Chandler and Rachel making out at a party, so she had met him plenty of times before he was 25.
The One With All The Haste - S4-E19
Corrected entry: In this episode the chain on Rachel and Monica's apartment door is very long, but in "The One With The Late Thanksgiving" in Season 10, the chain is much shorter, causing Joey to get his head stuck.
The One With The Football - S3-E9
Corrected entry: When Monica and Ross are discussing why they are not allowed to play football, Monica states in the story that they were both 6. This would imply they are either twins or at least the same age. However, we see that Ross is in fact older than Monica. Also, later in the scene Monica and Ross say the football incident occurred 12 years ago. This would mean that they are both currently 18 years old which is false. In one episode earlier in the season Monica states that she is 28 years old. (00:02:20 - 00:04:10)
Correction: She doesn't say they were both six, she says the event happened in "Gellerbowl 6", ie. the 6th year of the "Gellerbowl".
The One Where the Monkey Gets Away - S1-E19
Corrected entry: Monica tells the guys that she and Phoebe will search the third and fourth floors for the monkey and the guys would search the first and second floors. But Monica and Phoebe knock on Mr. Heckles' door, #9, which would be on one of the lower floors.
The One With Joey's Fridge - S6-E19
Corrected entry: When Rachel refuses the two guys she is offered, when she is about to storm out then asks the guy about his hair, the shot changes. Between these shots, Phoebe simply disappears from beside Monica and Chandler. (00:18:10)
Corrected entry: Across the whole show, the infamous wall in Rachel's room / guest room (Monica's apartment) changes. When the room is not being filmed, the wall is as normal, but on quite a few episodes, when the room is actually used for scenes, the wall is much shorter. In both the episode where Ross buys Phoebe a bike, and where Phoebe and Rachel have to live with Monica after their apartment caught on fire, people are able to walk straight into the room without the wall being in the way.
Correction: Just rechecked the bike episode (The One With All The Candy) and compared to season 8's The One With The Stripper which shows Joey and Chandler entering the room. The camera angle from the main room is at nearly 45 degrees, the wall is not longer in that scene it is just the angle of the shot, which is the standard angle used from the main room when viewing it.
The One Where No One's Ready - S3-E2
Corrected entry: When Phoebe asks Monica what gets out hummus, Monica comes out of her bedroom. In the wide shot she's standing next to Ross, in the closeup he's suddenly holding her by the arm. (00:05:55)
The One With The Ball - S5-E21
Corrected entry: When Rachel is holding the cat on the cushion with the red oven mitt, for one shot her hand changes from holding the cat, to holding the pillow. (00:12:00)
Correction: I just watched this episode, and you can actually see her move her hand from the cat to the pillow and back again.
The One Where Chandler Can't Cry - S6-E14
Corrected entry: When Chandler first reveals that he doesn't cry they are watching ET. The TV manages to turn off without anyone switching it off.
Correction: You can see Chandler turn off the tv.
The One With All The Kissing - S5-E2
Corrected entry: When Monica and Chandler are in the bath, she goes under the water as Joey comes in, and when she reappears her wine glass is still full of wine. It would have filled up with water, not stayed with just wine. (00:00:55)
Correction: When Heckles turns away from Monica's doorway he steps up onto the upper landing, not the stairs. The stairwell is at the end of the hallway (on this upper landing) where Heckles is heading, and we don't see him reach the stairs. Other episodes such as S8xE7 "The One With The Stain" and S10xE8 "The One With The Late Thanksgiving" show the hallway.
