The One At The Beach - S3-E25

Corrected entry: When Phoebe finds out that Phoebe at the beach is her birth mom, Phoebes twin Ursula never gets mentioned, not once. Since her birth mom hasn't seen either of them since they were born I would have thought she'd give some thought to her other daughter.

Correction: Throughout the episode we only see a couple of minutes of interaction between the Phoebes. Ursula could have been mentioned off camera.

Andreas[DK]

Correction: She does get naked. She pulls her dress off right after getting into bed.

The One With The Flashback - S3-E6

Corrected entry: Just before Monica invites Joey in for lemonade, she says,"It's the heat. And the humidity." When she says this, if you look between the doorframe and the edge of the door, there is a crew member behind the door moving around. (00:11:00)

Correction: They live in a building with several apartments. The person in the hallway could have been another resident, a visitor to someone living there, a janitor or any number of people with a legitimate reason to wander around inside the building.

The Last One (2) - S10-E20

Corrected entry: When Rachel is at the airport and handing the gentleman her passport you can see that he looks and reads it up side down. You can tell this by looking at the passport photo.

Correction: A passport does not have to be rightside-up to verify that it is valid and that it is the person in the photo, especially if you read them all the time.

Correction: The second page of a passport is a picture with personal information and it's the same on the 3rd.

The One With All The Rugby - S4-E15

Corrected entry: When Ross, Emily, Phoebe and Joey go back to the coffeehouse after Ross gets the crap beaten out of him, he says to Emily "are you kidding? I just made a man twice my size cry. I haven't done that since I was four and I washed my Dad's Porsche with rocks." But in series two when Richard has a "twinkie in the city" (Monica), Jack Gellar comments on how "I turned fifty, I got the Porsche, you've got your own little speedster." If Jack Gellar was fifty when Ross was four, that would make him around seventy-six. He's looking pretty good for a 76 year-old man isn't he?

Correction: It is entirely possible that Jack had a different Porsche when Ross was four years old.

Chaz1003

He would have had to, since he practically destroyed his Dad's porsche with rocks. The current car that he has is in tip-top shape.

Correction: When Chandler says "Yeah, Ok" in "TOW Joey's Porsche", you'll notice that he says it as if he's not sure. He says, "Yeah" because he loves Monica and Monica wants those puppies. Later Chandler says that he doesn't want to take care of babies because he wasn't even sure about the puppies, meaning he, in fact, didn't want to get the dogs. Also, Chandler does not hate dogs, he just doesn't like them.

Correction: When Ross is going out with the daughter of "Bruce Willis", he is actually going out with the daughter of a man called Paul Stevenson. Just as in Friends 'Universe' Ross is Ross, not David Schwimmer, Paul Stevenson is Paul Stevenson, not Bruce Willis. Hence Bruce Willis can easily star in Die Hard. And same with Robin Williams and all the other special guests.

Season 5 generally

Corrected entry: When Rachel is flying to London we find out that a last minute ticket is $2700. Now even if a regular ticket was only half of that, how does Emily afford flying back and forth constantly?

Correction: First of all, she doesn't go back and forth that much, and no doubt will book a bit in advance, making it much cheaper. Most of the time she is ringing Ross, not speaking to him in person. Secondly, a family member of mine booked a flight to New York with British Airways for £199 ($300ish) return. It's hardly going to break the bank, and as we have evidence that Emily's family is fairly well off it's quite possible for her to be flying like this.

The One with George Stephanopoulos - S1-E4

Corrected entry: In the episode in series 1 where all the girls are having a sleep-over at Monica's, they're all lazing around and the camera shows Monica laying on a sofa, picking at a large bowl of cookie dough with a wooden spoon. While she is speaking, you can clearly see her accidentally flick a piece of cookie dough out of the bowl onto the floor. If this was the 'real' Monica, I'm sure she would have freaked out and cleaned it up straight away.

Correction: The girls had been drinking, so it's possible that Monica was a little too buzzed to care about it, or even notice it in the first place.

I can't recall any episode where Monica drops her neat and tidy persona. Her O.C.D. always controls her. I think the cookie dough is a mistake in the show that they let go or didn't see.

The One Where Chandler Doesn't Like Dogs - S7-E8

Corrected entry: It's mentioned a number of times that Ross doesn't like ice cream. But in the episode where Ross spends time with Marcel when the monkey is in the movie, there is a scene in which Ross and Marcel are walking down the street and Ross has an ice cream cone. Marcel starts to eat it, and then Ross laughs and throws it away. Why would he care if the monkey licked his ice cream if he didn't like it to begin with?

Correction: It is possible that Ross's tastes have changed since that episode. Many people's tastes change over time.

It wasn't about taste, it was about how it hurt his teeth because it was too cold. He probably went off it after some of it landed on his teeth. I have a similar problem. Any time it reaches my bottom 2 teeth, it stings for at least 2 minutes.

Correction: The Porsche is still silvery-grey, but just looks darker in certain lights. When Rachel drives off from the curb, and when they're pulled over waiting for the cop, are just two places where the original colour is still evident.

The One With The Inappropriate Sister - S5-E10

Corrected entry: Phoebe is collecting for charity and Monica comes to see her; a man puts a dollar in the bucket and tries to make change for the bus. When Phoebe argues with the man he says "bite me blondie", but he couldn't have known that she is blonde because she has a Santa hat on that covers her entire head and no hair is coming out from underneath the hat.

Correction: Her hair is simply not out when the guy is there. It is simply a mistake. Her hair is out in the next scene she appears in but not one little bit is out when the guy says "bite me blondie." Only way he could know is if he has seen her before and recognised her.

Correction: I thought this too, but it's clear in the next shot, when she turns slightly, that Phoebe's long hair comes out below the hat and hangs right down her back - this would have been evident from the man's point of view, even if it's not evident from the front, and therefore to the viewer.

The One With The Embryos - S4-E12

Corrected entry: The plot hinges on the girls losing the Lightning Round because they don't know what Chandler's job is, but there is no reason for it; as there was no penalty for a wrong answer, they could have simply answered wrong and moved on to the next question. Both teams had done this already, so the girls knew it was an option; they just conveniently forget it so the plot can move forward.

Correction: They knew they were running out of time and this could be their last question, so didn't want to waste time by passing, especially since they thought they knew it, or could guess. No guarantee the next question would be any easier. Entirely normal behaviour for a quiz, rather than a convenient plot choice.

Correction: Except Monica was already suspicious, and if he pulled the curtains (which he clearly rarely does) she'd likely call him out as faking. He figures if he can make a "fake Ben" she'll believe his excuse.

Correction: How is that a mistake?

Correction: This is wrong, it's Phoebe going into the room (check the clothes) after she's been speaking with the gang, she walks off.

The One With Rachel's Date - S8-E5

Revealing mistake: In the scene in the coffee house, Phoebe is talking to Monica who is drinking a cup of coffee. Towards the end of the scene, the camera is on Phoebe who is smiling & laughing at Monica. In the right hand corner is a side view of 'Monica' however, it is not Courtney Cox in the scene, but a completely different actress. [Widescreen version only, although the "wrong" nose is visible in the original]. (00:06:20)

The One With Ross's Teeth - S6-E8

Monica: What happened to your teeth?
Ross: I whitened them.
Chandler: Really?
Ross: Yeah, what... What do you think?
Monica: Well, uh, I think I shouldn't look directly at them.
Ross: Come on, seriously.
Monica: Ross, they're really, really, really white!
Chandler: Yeah, what was wrong with your old... Human teeth?
Ross: Well, I did leave the gel on a little longer than it said to.
Monica: How much longer?
Ross: Uh, uh... A day.
Monica: Ross, you know that tonight is your date with Hillary?
Ross: I know! That's why I did it! Come on, are they really that bad?
Chandler: No. No, no, no, you'll be fine. Hilary's blind, right?
Monica: She will be after tonight.

Trivia: The Magna-doodle on the door in the boys apartment has a different picture on it every episode. There is usually some tenuous connection between the picture and the plot of the episode.

The One With The Jellyfish - S4-E1

Question: When Ross and Rachel are fighting, Chandler hides behind the door and bursts out saying, "I knew it!" When Rachel says, "It's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy, and it is a big deal!" is this just a Chandler moment or is there another joke I have missed?

Answer: The statements that she's contradicting (that it is common, it happens to every guy, and it's not a big deal), are the things that a woman commonly says to a man who is suffering from erectile difficulty, typically to assuage his bruised ego. However, most men do not believe that these statements are true, as evidenced by Chandler's outburst. He's so caught up in the proof that women are lying about it that he gives himself away.
