The One With Phoebe's Uterus - S4-E11

Corrected entry: When Phoebe goes to visit her birth mother in Montauk, her mom says "I wish someone would've been there to tell me how terrible it is to give up babies". The scene cuts to a shot of Phoebe holding the puppy, revealing a side view of a stand-in, not the actress playing her mom.

Correction: It is indeed Teri Garr in the side shot, not a stand-in.

Super Grover

Correction: There are two versions with the shots of the duck bathing in the bucket - the DVD version and the widescreen version (such as on Netflix). In both versions, when the guys are at the vet's office they're remembering past fun times with the duck, which includes the memory of the duck bathing. In the widescreen version, the last scene from the DVD has been cut and instead we just see a continuance of the earlier "memory" of the duck bathing, hence once again we see the old carpeting and also the guys' canoe.

Super Grover

The One With The Invitation - S4-E21

Corrected entry: Phoebe shows Ross' invitation to everyone, stating "Ross let Ben address mine." The envelope has poor kid like handwriting. The address is a 4 line address and the invitation also has stamps on it. When the camera comes back to Phoebe, she's holding an envelope with just her name on it, with no stamps. When she puts down the envelope by her side, the 4 line address is back. (00:11:30)

Makes Sense

Correction: Yes, there are two larger envelopes, but they are not meant to be the same envelope, it's wedding invitation etiquette. The actual invitation itself is inserted in the "inner envelope" with only Phoebe's name written on it (or as 'Phoebe and friend'), and this inner envelope is inserted in the "outside envelope" along with the reply card (in the small envelope), and it's the outside envelope which is stamped and addressed to Phoebe ("4 line address"). We even see Phoebe holding both larger envelopes while removing the reply card's small envelope, just as Monica says, "This is so amazing," and also see them when Rachel opens her own envelope.

Super Grover

Correction: That's not how the statistics work. There's no guarantee that any embryos will attach at all - presumably the odds of any one embryo attaching is 5%, so adding 5 makes the odds 25%. It has to be a balance between ensuring a vaguely decent chance of a viable pregnancy vs. the risk of having multiple babies. For example if they inserted 20 embryos to potentially "guarantee" at least one would attach, at least statistically, the odds would be much much higher of say 5 of them attaching, which would cause great complications for the mother and indeed the fetuses, not all of which would likely survive.

Correction: None of the doors they pass are "cream colour" - every door they pass is black. It's all the window and door trim that are cream.

Super Grover

The One Where Chandler Crosses The Line - S4-E7

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the episode, when Chandler comes into the apartment to talk to Joey about his kiss with Kathy, Joey turns the TV off and places the remote on the counter. However, the TV is suddenly back on after Joey asks, "Is that why you bought all this stuff?" (referring to the furniture), and then Joey turns it off again manually. (00:17:10)

Correction: When Joey uses the remote he only mutes the TV's sound, and in the widescreen version we can see that "Wonder Woman" is still playing on the TV, then later Joey turns off the TV manually.

Super Grover

Correction: The door to Monica and Chandler's had to be replaced while they were on their honeymoon. Phoebe and Joey called the super and told them they smelled has coming from the apartment. The fire department breaks the door down. This could be when the chain was replaced.

The One With The Embryos - S4-E12

Corrected entry: For the game, there are 16 questions - 8 for each gender. When Ross says they have a tie, there are about 5 questions left on the board. Ross then goes to the Lightning Round and completely forgets about the other 5 questions. (00:07:30)

Brad

Correction: Ross says from the start that each team will answer ten questions. Ross has just made up more, in case one category is more popular than the others.

Correction: Actually, he calls her Cheryl both times, which is the correct name of the character played by Rebecca Romijn.

Correction: This simply does not occur. Joey is never in the background during this scene. He is always located in front of Chandler and only laughs when Chandler makes the "magic" comment once.

Correction: Rachel answers just in time and the answer is wrong so there was no time for a new question.

Ssiscool

Correction: Having just watched this episode, I can say that Ross starts to step down, camera cuts, then back to Ross and he's on the road.

Correction: Virgin Atlantic uses 2-4-2 in Premium Economy, so 3-4-3 is not a rule, although it's the most common in economy on a 747. Surely the set is not an exact copy of a real plane, but the seating configuration is ok.

Correction: And there "should" be only one best man. There aren't any laws in weddings, so Ross can change it however he wants.

Correction: But we see her pick it up and put it down in between shots.

Correction: From the angle we have, it's not possible to tell if Monica is there or not.

tw_stuart

Correction: The camera angle is different when Chandler is saying goodnight so we have a different view. If you watch carefully, you can see the towel is still there, we can just see the edge of it.

tw_stuart

Correction: I've checked and it most definitely doesn't. It's on all the time.

tw_stuart

Correction: That was in the first episode. Joey has a playboy image so Chandler probably didn't even know or ask. It's highly unlikely that Joey was with only one girl for those three years, so Chandler's point would still be valid.

tw_stuart

Correction: Sorry, I've watched this scene very carefully and the phone handset is standing upright on the counter during the whole time.

The One With The Jellyfish - S4-E1

Question: When Ross and Rachel are fighting, Chandler hides behind the door and bursts out saying, "I knew it!" When Rachel says, "It's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy, and it is a big deal!" is this just a Chandler moment or is there another joke I have missed?

Answer: The statements that she's contradicting (that it is common, it happens to every guy, and it's not a big deal), are the things that a woman commonly says to a man who is suffering from erectile difficulty, typically to assuage his bruised ego. However, most men do not believe that these statements are true, as evidenced by Chandler's outburst. He's so caught up in the proof that women are lying about it that he gives himself away.
