Trivia: Many people think Crispin Glover reprised his role as George McFly for part II, but it's a different actor who had facial prosthetics applied to look like Glover. These prosthetics were made from actual molds of Glover's face left over from part I. Glover never authorized his likeness to be used and sued. The Screen Actors Guild now has laws against "unauthorized mimicking" of other actors as a result of the lawsuit. Crispin Glover is listed in the credit for part II only as "archive footage"

Meanwhile - S7-E26

Trivia: While at Luna Park, Bender throws a beer bottle and it sticks in the moon-head creature's eye. This is a reference to the image of the man in the moon with a bullet in his eye, from the 1902 French film, A Trip to the Moon (considered to be the first sci-fi movie). (00:01:25)

Summer Rental (1985)

Trivia: When Jennifer Chester and Gregg Moore are listening to their radio headsets in the theater lobby, the song Footloose is playing as they are next to the Footloose movie poster. Both films had cinematography done by Ric Waite and both were distributed by Paramount Pictures. (Moore is also the last name of the Reverend in Footloose).

Trivia: The line "unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent" is making fun of Kevin Costner who played the character in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" with an American accent, despite the character being an English nobleman.

Bishop73

Revealing mistake: At the end of the film as the camera zooms in on Milo as he's starting to speak, the part where he says "mama" is on a loop. (01:32:35)

Tyrant (2014)

Pilot - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When the family is on the plane taking their seats, the wife goes to sit with her husband and sets her purse and clothing onto the seat in front of them, however you see the clothes slip off the seat and only the purse remains. In the next shot of the seat in front, the clothes are on the seat on top of the purse, without any character picking them up.

Show generally

Question: My understanding is Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, Howard, and even Amy and Kripke work for a university; but none of them seem to be teachers. And if they are, they never have office hours, or are seen grading homework, and Sheldon seems inept at teaching. Do universities really hire that many people who simply do research with no actual work requirements? Or what's going on? (I understand not filming boring office hours or grading, etc. But they never even allude to it, their work never interferes with random daily events, and I imagine college teachers/professors would stay extremely more busy.

Bishop73

Chosen answer: The boys work for Caltech, a research university mainly dedicated to science and technology. It's never been stated where Amy works, except that she has her own lab. But remember, her lab is fully funded by the Saudi prince that she is pseudo-engaged to. Any business or university would hire her for that reason.

Greg Dwyer

Answer: In season 7 though Amy came to work at the university til the end.

The Herb Garden Germination - S4-E20

Question: In the beginning, Sheldon and Amy are attending a reading (or lecture) of Brian Greene. It seems Sheldon is truly mocking, although at the end he says he's kidding. Do theoretical physicists consider Greene to be a hack, or is he respected in the field of physics? Are Sheldon and Amy truly laughing at him?

Bishop73

Chosen answer: He's respected. Sheldon just thinks he knows more than anyone else and mocks anyone whose theories don't agree with his completely. Amy is probably just going along because it makes Sheldon happy.

Rango (2011)

Continuity mistake: During the vending machine scene, besides the fact that he's hiding in slot D8, many of the slots are mislabeled. However, he is 2 positions in, so it would require $.50 to get him out, not $.25. And the slot on his right goes from having candy in the back, to having a different candy up front, then to being empty.

The Acupuncturist - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: When Larry and Jeff are at the restaurant and the waiter's arm catches fire from lighting the flambé dessert, Larry puts it out by pouring water on his arm. The wide shot shows the flambé dessert is no longer on fire. But on the next wide shot, the dessert is on fire again.

Revealing mistake: After the guys head back on the road after first meeting the sheriff, the footage used of the vehicle driving down the road is the same footage used after the guys put the mix tape in the stereo; even though they weren't driving past the same spot a second time.
