Gameday Forecast: Showers - S6-E2
Trivia: Ed states that everyone has to do what they did last year during the Broncos/Chargers game since the Broncos won that game and then ended up winning the Super Bowl. In this episode, which aired before the actual 2016 Broncos home game against the Chargers, it's implied the Broncos won (and a good sign they'll win the Super Bowl again.) The Broncos did beat the Chargers at home, however, they failed to make the playoffs.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning, when Jack is talking to the two gangsters, he has his sunglasses on. In one shot, where the camera is behind him, when the two start talking Spanish to each other, you can tell Jack doesn't have his sunglasses on.

Hank Hill, from the show "King of the Hill", sells propane and propane accessories and his neighbor, Dale Gribble, owns Dale's Dead-Bug. Jim Dauterive, one of the show's creator/writer was also a writer/producer for "King of the Hill."

Continuity mistake: When we first see the restaurant, the burger of the day board is partially seen and we see "bites." When we next see the burger of the day it's "citizen kale burger" and "bites" isn't seen anywhere.

Continuity mistake: When Emily and Aaron first kiss, her hands are down. In the next shot her hand is up touching his chin and in the next shot her hands are back down and she's raising a hand to his chin.

Continuity mistake: When Alex wakes up and goes to sit next to Tom, she puts her right arm around him so that her hand is hanging over his shoulder. In the next shot, her hand isn't visible even though his shoulder is and his hands are down. In the next shot, her hand is back on his shoulder and he's holding her hand.

Continuity mistake: When the President is talking to the two Congresspeople in the Oval Office, there are several times when he's looking to his left or his right and the shot changes and he's now looking in the opposite direction.

Continuity mistake: When we get the shot of the President sitting and holding his glasses, the glasses change position in the next shot. When his back is to the camera, he's holding them so his thumb is in between the lenses and the earpieces are facing to his left. When he's facing the camera, the glasses are flipped over so that the earpieces are facing his right.

Continuity mistake: When Penny and Leo are playing cards, her stuffed animal is on the table with cards propped up against it. When Leo leaves we see it again, but when the shot changes to Penny, she's now instantly holding it.

Continuity mistake: When Dwayne accidentally fires the gun, we see the slide lock back in place automatically, meaning it's out of ammo. In the next shot the slide is back in position, and we don't hear him releasing it.

Continuity mistake: When Deborah is talking to Mrs. Chadwick, Mrs. Chadwick's hair keeps changing position and is either covering or not covering her name tag. And when the camera is on Deborah, we still see Mrs. Chadwick's head and she doesn't move it at all.

Continuity mistake: Near the end, Tom takes out the cipher key that was previously written on. But the cipher key used in the close up shots is different than the original. The words are spaced out and crossed out differently.

Question: This question and answer may contain spoilers. The film made it seem like once the mutant children cross the Canadian border, they would be safe. Dr. Rice (I believe it was him) even says they (the Reavers) need to hurry or they'll lose the children if they cross. My question is why? Did I miss something? Who was suppose to meet the children in Canada? Or is Dr. Rice saying they can't follow the children into Canada, and if so, why not? Alkali Lake was in Canada and it doesn't seem they have any regards for laws and borders. And surely if the children were that valuable, or the need to destroy them so important, why would Dr. Rice not send his army of Reavers to battle whoever was helping the children?

Continuity mistake: When Nick goes to see Juliette/Eve, she's in a coma and unable to move and her hand and fingers are lying flat against her belly. In the wide shot of her, her hand is turned and her fingers are somewhat on top of each other, instead of lying flat. It goes back to lying flat in the next shot of her.
Chosen answer: It is subtly shown that Rice has a deal with the US government to conduct his business without conflict, something he won't have in Canada. There is also a strong theory that the people helping the children is Department H. The Canadian organization that started the super team, Alpha Flight.
