Revealing mistake: In several episodes, the window over the kitchen sink is shown from the outside, while snoopy people look in. The window shown in these exterior shots is far too low to be the same window that is over the Steven's kitchen sink, which is shown in many shots looking out.

Follow That Witch (2) - S2-E29

Revealing mistake: When Samantha starts trashing the private detective's apartment, she causes a chandelier to fall onto a coffee table, breaking the table. However, it is easy to see that the table breaks just before the chandelier falls on it. (00:20:10)

Marriage, Witches' Style - S5-E21

Revealing mistake: In addition to Samantha, Elizabeth Montgomery also played Serena. In scenes where both characters appeared, Elizabeth would face the camera and play one character and another actress, Melody McCord, would play the other with her back to the camera. But in this scene, when Mr. Beams tells Serena she has a luncheon date with her intended at the rotisserie, Melody (portraying Samantha), with her back to the camera, inadvertently turns her head, revealing her face. Continuity mistake: In more than one episode the Steven's front door changes. In some shots the door is solid paneled but in other shots the door has a half circle window at the top. It seems the window usually appears in close up shots of people talking.

Toys in Babeland - S4-E2

Plot hole: Darrin tells Samantha that Larry thinks the Stephenses are having a costume party. While Larry earlier had said that to himself when he looked through the Stephens' living room window, he never said it to Darrin. (00:20:45)

Super Arthur - S6-E20

Revealing mistake: Paul Lynde is supposedly "in" the mirror near the front door, but as he waves his arm to cast a spell, the shadow of his arm waving is visible at the far left, revealing he is actually standing off camera at a spot where his reflection is visible. Elizabeth Montgomery also briefly glances at him. (00:02:25)

I, Darrin, Take This Witch, Samantha - S1-E1

Audio problem: When Samantha and Darrin are at his ex-girlfriend's house for dinner, Samantha is doing all kinds of things to sabotage the dinner, even making a gust of wind come through the front door thus blowing the ex's wig off. The ex girlfriend is screaming but the screams don't match up to what her mouth is doing.

Samantha Goes South for a Spell - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: The minute hand on the teakettle clock is between the 6 and the 7 when it's shown behind Samantha. When she goes to the closet, the clock reads 8:15 (minute hand on the 3). When she returns, the minute hand is between the 6 and the 7 again. (00:02:20)

Samantha: Darling, I've been trying for weeks to give this house a thorough cleaning. These carpets are filthy.
Darrin Stephens: How can you worry about dirt on the rugs when we're about to see the surface of the moon?
Samantha: The moon could use a vacuuming too. All that dust... yych.

Trivia: The Screen Gems sets of Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie were right next to each other at the studio, and many of the actual sets and props were shared between the two shows. Both shows also shared Dick Albain, the Special Effects expert, who worked on the two shows for quite awhile.

Question: In one episode (not sure which one but it was in the Dick York era), Darrin was arguing with Samantha and said something like "Confiding in a woman is like broadcasting by Telstar." What exactly does that mean and what was Telstar?

Answer: Telstar was an early communications satellite system. Darrin, in a particularly sexist manner reflective of this era, is saying that telling a secret to a woman means it is guaranteed to be "broadcasted" to multiple people.

Answer: The Telstar Reference was in Dangerous Diaper Dan when Samantha engages in too much gossip.
