Suggested correction: At no point does Lisa turn over the resume. She takes it, reads it and says it needs padding out.

Ssiscool

Suggested correction: Lisa does turn over the resume, but there's nothing typed on the back. She's wasn't turning the resume over to continue reading it, she was just looking to see if there was something more because it was one line, hence her response of needing padding.

Suggested correction: Homer pulls up in the car with his white shirt on. The very next shot is him walking in. We don't see him park or get out of the car. What's to say he didn't just grab a jacket out of the car?

Suggested correction: The banister is always present. However, Homer's body occasionally blocks the view of the bannister giving the impression that it is absent.

Marge vs. the Monorail - S4-E12

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode, Homer slides down a big pipe and smashes through one of the windows on the right side of the car. But when Homer crashes into the chestnut tree, it is fully repaired. (00:01:25)

Suggested correction: You can see no lines on that window indicating glass is there as is shown on all other windows in the show. So the glass is missing and so still broken.

Suggested correction: He is in his own driveway the whole time. There's never a shot of him in a different position and certainly never in Flanders' house. You ever see the brick wall from the Simpsons' house in the last shot.

Suggested correction: It should be noted that a considerable amount of time has passed while Krusty is telling his story. Note the candles in the screenshot for example, they have burnt out during the story. Its reasonable to assume that there would have been a chance for them to change during this time.

The Otto Show - S3-E22

Continuity mistake: When Otto is playing the guitar with bart in the middle of the night, there are close-ups of Otto whenever he is singing. You can see that the wall behind him is plain. However, when there is a wide shot of otto and bart, the wall behind otto has two tables leaned against them. (00:15:50)

Suggested correction: Not true, in the close up of Otto singing the corner of some shelves are visible. These shelves become visible when the camera pans round to show him turning to look at Homer and Marge. Meaning we see 2 different backgrounds depending on the camera angle. No mistake.

Suggested correction: The building doesn't vanish. The 1st shot shows a building further in the line the market stall is in. Due to the angle, it appears to be to Homer's right.

Suggested correction: Maybe he was allowed to participate due to good behavior. That's a possibility.

Rubbish. He is denied parole numerous times and shown to be a high risk prisoner.

Ssiscool

Good behavior or not, a prison wouldn't furlough an inmate just so they could participate in a snow day.

Suggested correction: This is in the questions as well. With the long amount of time the artists have to make an episode it's very hard that something like this would get by them. It's probably the device you watched it on.

Not true, watching a clip on Youtube and the episode on Disney+ the scratch is present. So it's not the device being used by the submitter.

Bart vs. Australia - S6-E16

Character mistake: Burkina Faso is listed as being among the Southern Hemisphere locations Bart called when Homer is looking over the phone bill; since Burkina Faso is completely within the Northern Hemisphere, it would have made no sense for Bart to call there.

Suggested correction: It may not make sense, but Bart isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. In this same episode, he looked at his globe and thought Rand McNally was a country and was convinced by Lisa that the citizens there wear hats on their feet and that hamburgers eat people. Additionally, he could have just decided to prank call someone there if for no other reason than he thought the name of the country was funny.

Phaneron

Entirely possible, but since Bart had a globe right there to refer to, even someone with his limited geographical knowledge would have been able to tell that Burkina Faso is in the Northern hemisphere, unlike the other locations he did call as depicted in the montage (Antarctica, Argentina, unspecified South American nation, etc).

zendaddy621

Using his globe to determine which countries to call does not negate the possibility of him also calling a number in Burkina Faso for whatever reason suited him. It's ultimately a character decision and not a mistake.

Suggested correction: When Grampa stands up you can only ever see one picture on the wall. This is of Jebadiah Springfield. There is a shot when we see Grampa lifted up by townspeople and you see a second picture then. But in the 1st shot it's simply not visible.
