Continuity mistake: At the institute, Dave puts his hand on his son twice, and they also swap positions between shots. (00:10:00)
Continuity mistake: At the Institute, the clipboard Dave is holding repeatedly switches arms between shots. It also disappears entirely. (00:09:35 - 00:10:35)
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the episode, when Skinner shouts at Ralph to shut up, the sky outside the bus changes from nighttime to daytime between shots. (00:14:15)
Continuity mistake: Bart opens the house's front door, then the shot zooms out to show us that all of Springfield is at the Simpson house. In the next shot with Mayor Quimby the door is suddenly closed. (00:15:30)

Other mistake: After the scene where Mr. Burns gives Smithers his picture of him and Elvis Presley, Homer asks Lisa a couple of questions about Germany. At the beginning of this brief scene, Lisa is reading a book, and from her point of view, her eyes are moving from right to left, which shows she is reading the wrong way on a single page. (00:11:10)
Other mistake: When Bart sees that Santa's Little Helper ate his homework, and the camera moves really fast, you can see that the Krusty Doll and picture frame have vanished from the desk beside his bed. (00:00:55 - 00:01:50)
Revealing mistake: When the announcer says that the Falcons win, he says "Who would've thunk it" Homer says "My daughter, that's who". When he is saying this, Lisa's arm disappears twice. (00:10:05)

Continuity mistake: After Maggie makes her wish, the family jumps from being in their seats to beside the window. (00:03:50)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when we see the exterior shot of the bus, it is full of kids. In the interior shots, 1) before the twins talk to Bart and Milhouse, every seat is empty, even Sherri and Terri's. 2) when the bus arrives at the school, we AGAIN see a full busload of kids. (00:01:30 - 00:02:25)
Audio problem: When Otto says that he was on his way to Mexico, his mouth doesn't move in the interior shot of the bus. (00:04:20)

Continuity mistake: When Jimbo and Kearney take Homer's candy, it is obviously night time. However if you watch the outside as Homer closes the door before he says "Lousy punks" it shows a daytime sky.
Homer Alone - S3-E15
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Maggie rips of the top of her bottle, the milk spills everywhere, including on Marge's face. After this Marge goes really crazy and starts screaming. Right before she does this the milk on her face disappears. (00:04:50)
Continuity mistake: Before Homer and Marge get married, they are taking more steps then they are supposed to, as you can see the interior of the wedding chapel before this scene. (00:10:10)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning, Mr. Burns pats his alligator, and his hand is instantly down in the next shot. (00:01:50)
Continuity mistake: Patty sprays Barney with pepper spray. It disappears from her hand in the next shot. (00:18:55)
