Monk (2002)

Mr. Monk Gets a New Shrink - S5-E7

Stupidity: Merrigan should've removed the heroin from the statues once he got them, thus the whole murder of the cleaning lady and discovery of his drug dealings might not have been discovered.

Halloween 5 (1989)

Stupidity: It seems stupid on the part of the hermit to keep Michael in his shack for over a year given he tried to strangle him and was bleeding that night. He should've gone to the police.

Suggested correction: Novels from the Expanded Universe make it clear that with the exception of guards, nobody is allowed to carry weaponry in Jabba's Palace.

LorgSkyegon

Stupidity: Given Simon and Jeanette are the two smartest ones of the trios wouldn't they be suspicious of Klaus and Claudia's offer of a race? Yet they raise no objections other than Simon briefly before they take off.

Cursed (2005)

Stupidity: Joanie should've gone after Jake, after all, he passed the curse onto her.

Halloween 4 (1988)

Stupidity: For being supposedly clever as well as purely evil Michael's pretty stupid here. He gets to the gas station well ahead of Loomis yet waits for him there, doesn't kill him either despite knowing he'd try to stop him like the last time.

Stupidity: The Foot on the roof revive, yet they leave Shredder to fight the turtles alone instead of staying and helping.

Halloween II (1981)

Stupidity: It seems stupid of Mrs Strode to tell her young adopted daughter Laurie that she wasn't her mother much less seemingly taking her to visit her older brother Michael.

Street Fighter (1994)

Stupidity: Chun Li, E. Honda, and Balrog should've known better than to try to kill Bison and Sagat. If they'd succeeded, then the hostages might've been killed as Ryu pointed out.

Terror in the Sky - S1-E37

Stupidity: Batman should've noticed the pink pants the bat creature wore when it attacked him in the zoo thus showing it wasn't Kirk Langstrom. He's noticed things in other fights.

Suggested correction: Are you suggesting Kirk couldn't change his pants?

Well it'd seem ridiculous given his changes probably happen at any time like The Lizard's who also never changes pants.

Rob245

So Kurt Conners and Kirk Langstrom both wear the same pants for the rest of their lives? They never change clothes when in human form?

Cheerleader Camp (1988)

Stupidity: It should've been obvious to everyone that one of the mascots was behind it. They were, after all, always ridiculed, hard not to see one of them had enough of this.

Batman (1989)

Stupidity: If Batman can recognize Napier you'd think the police would, especially when he's wearing that flesh tone makeup during his public address.

Nemesis 2: Nebula (1995)

Stupidity: Given that it appears to be sweltering hot in that part of Africa and with the running around there's no point for Alex to put on pants and a cloak.
