The Lost Empire (1984)

New this month Plot hole: Given Dr. Sin Do is a sneaky and quite brilliant mastermind it seems unlikely he could've been fooled by a victim's sister, especially when they look alike.

Carrie (2002)

Plot hole: Ms. Desjarden escaped the prom through an air vent, but the chair she used fell over, leaving her dangling from the vent with little time to escape before the gym burned down.

Suggested correction: That was the entire point of the scene where we finally see her police interview at the end where it reveals that she survived. It was supposed to be a surprise for the audience that she survived. True, there was little time for her to pull herself up into the vent, but little time is not the same thing as no time. Someone with as much determination as Desjarden had might have found the strength to pull themselves up, as has happened many times in other movies and even in real life. We don't see exactly what happens after the chair falls, so we can't definitively say whether or not her survival was plausible.

Terror Train (1980)

The Initiation (1984)

Plot hole: When the riot and escape happen they never reveal how the girl's real father escaped, he wasn't an inmate of the asylum, merely a trustee from the nearby prison so at night he'd have been in his cell.

I Love Lucy (1951)

Lucy Cries Wolf - S4-E1

Plot hole: How does Lucy get back up to the apartment bound and gagged? It would seem impossible to hop up all those steps, possibly take several hours if not all night.

Rob245

Plot hole: How does Jason know where Alice lives? Plus she lives in what looks like a boarding house, how come nobody heard her screams? No way everyone was a sound sleeper or everyone was out somewhere at the time.

Overboard (2018)

Plot hole: Why the would cleaning company hold Kate responsible for her equipment? Surely they'd have listened to her story and sent Leonardo the bill since he threw it overboard.

Suggested correction: This is a question, not a plot hole. The company may have loaned the employees the equipment under contract that employees are responsible for any damage or loss. In which case, they can go after the employee (which is much easier for a few reasons). It would then be up to Kate to go after Leo for any costs she sustained because of his actions. She may also have been an independent contractor and bought the equipment, in which case, she would be the party responsible for going after Leo.

Run Lola Run (1998)

Kiss the Girls (1997)

Plot hole: Given that police departments, the FBI, and the CIA do intense screening of potential candidates how did Casanova slip between the cracks? He's clever but surely somebody would've noticed something.

Rob245

Plot hole: No ref would allow both members of a tag team to pin both members of the other team, not even in a championship match.

Rob245

Plot hole: It's never shown how Mimi knows her boyfriend fooled around with Jan Mackenzie's, she just seems to know and thus go into their match mad as all get out.
