Rocky V (1990)

Plot hole: Paulie couldn't be that stupid so as to not tell Rocky that his accountant needed his signature for a tax extension.

Suggested correction: Paulie isn't exactly a Rhodes Scholar. I doubt he has any formal education beyond high school. He likely has no knowledge whatsoever about what a power of attorney is or what it does. Very easy to trick.

LorgSkyegon

And furthermore, Paulie couldn't have had anyone sign anything on Rocky's behalf. Once it's proven in court that someone forged Rocky's signature, then everything would have been reversed and he would have never lost his fortune. If this was that easy, then anyone could walk into an office claiming to know a billionaire, sign a piece of paper, and get all their money.

Dressed to Kill (1980)

Plot hole: Given a crime may have been committed by one of Elliott's patients there's no reason Det Marino can't get a court order to look at his patient records.

La Noire (2011)

Plot hole: In "The Set Up" it's never explained how Carlos Arquero could tail Candy Edwards to the bus station without being seen by Phelps or Earle, much less how he got in the ladies' room to kill her.

La Noire (2011)

Plot hole: The game takes place within a year from 1946-1947. That would be impossible for Cole Phelps to advance through patrol and through all four police squads: Traffic, Homicide, Vice, Arson.

Batman: Arkham City

Plot hole: They only say Harley Quinn took the cure. Impossible given the back entrance was sealed up with ice and Bat-Man could only get in the front with the REC gadget.

Ladykillers (1988)

Plot hole: It's impossible for Morganna to have killed the stripper, leave, then get back quickly as herself.

Joker (2019)

Plot hole: Given Arthur's mother was placed in an asylum it seems unlikely she would've been allowed to keep him once released. The state would've placed him in another home.

Suggested correction: Nobody says she raised him as a child. As soon as he turned 18 he could have chosen to live with her again. Quite possibly because he didn't like his foster home.

The Mummy (1959)

Plot hole: Unless I'm missing something when Stephen Banning reads from The Scroll of Life, not only should Kharis have come back to life but so should Princess Ananka since her sarcophagus was open.

Below the Belt (1980)

Plot hole: Given Rosa just started wrestling it seems unlikely she'd get a world title match so soon. That and when she bit Tommy on the lip she should've been disqualified.

Monk (2002)

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: We never actually saw him commit the murder, so there's no way of knowing what he did or didn't do. The "re-enactment" was just Monk's summation and not the actual murder scene.

Desert Hearts (1985)

Plot hole: It's never explained why Frances Parker would be upset about Cay pursuing Vivian. She knows she's gay, but we're never told why she's mad.

Rob245

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Because Frances was afraid Cay would leave her to be alone and she blames Vivian for making Cay fall for Vivian, out of fear or resentment of being alone.

Thank you, my bad.

Rob245

Plot hole: Einhorn's plan had a flaw. No starting quarterback ever holds the ball in any game for the kicker, it's always the back up.

Rob245

Suggested correction: This is straight up false. Tony Romo was the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys in a playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks in 2006. He held the ball for a potential game winning field goal, but he bobbled it, and it ended up costing the Cowboys the game. This was already corrected, so I'm not sure why you felt the need to submit it again.

Phaneron

It should be noted that Tony Romo was not starting QB that year. He was the backup QB, until week 7, and his duties as backup was holding the snap. He just kept doing that job to keep the rhythm. Marino was never a backup. Of course, the premises is Ray Finkle (a non existent player) missed a game winning kick in Super Bowl XVII when in fact the Dolphins lost by 10 and Dolphins only attempted 1 FG in the game (and made it, despite Marino not holding the kick), so there's room for a lot a leeway in what the film can have Marino do since they already made up so much to start with.

Bishop73

Sorry I just forgot I'd submitted before, I apologize for this blunder.

Plot hole: It doesn't seem likely a rookie wrestler would get a world title match when Lisa had only been wrestling there for a short time.

Below the Belt (1980)

Plot hole: Given Tommy assaults the referee during the match, even yanking his shirt off, he should've disqualified her.

Malabimba (1979)

Plot hole: It's never truly explained how the possessed Bimba could possess Sister Sofia while kissing and caressing her.

Rob245

Plot hole: It's never really addressed or explained how Shredder survived his death in the previous movie from being crushed in a garbage truck.

Suggested correction: It didn't really need to be addressed, and thus is not a mistake. His hand emerging from the junkyard is enough to show that he survived his apparent demise at the end of the last film.

Law & Order (1990)

School Daze - S11-E22

Plot hole: They speak of sending a high school shooter to state prison. But if he's under 18 surely he'd have to be held in a juvenile facility until he's old enough.

Rob245

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: This is incorrect for the time period. Until recently, 16 and 17 year olds who were charged as adults could get sent to State prison with adults. 2015 is when New York State decides to house 16 and 17 years olds in State prison in separate facilities.
